Medicine is recommended when resting bp is above 145. If you wish to discontinue medicines, you can do so, but measure resting bp every month. If you find it is mostly above 145 you can then discuss with your Dr. People with resting bp above 160 must take medicines.

Hi lybrate-user,
There are a number of reasons for your weak core muscles in the body,
1. Poor sitting or standing posture being into that for a longer period of time. To correct this, move your back and neck i.e. Stretch out all muscles and bend your back backwards every 1-2 hourly
2. Over the time, you are sustained to this poor posture so your main muscles which should work evenly are getting weak and all your other supporting muscles are taking over the action of your core muscle...more

If core muscle strengthening exercises were prescribed by a doctor for a particular reason such as low back pain etc. Then initially it is advisable to do those exercises daily. In the long run (i.e. After the original problem was resolved) it is still advisable to do core strengthening exercises for general fitness but you may not have to do that daily.
