I am 53 year old male I am suffering from anxiety from last 4 years I am taking some medicine like rivotril .5 mg, szetalo10,ativan 1 mg advice me how long should I take these medicines.

Rivotril and ativan belong to benzodiazepines and need to be stopped after some time. Szetalo is escitalopram and can be taken. All the best. Consult a psychiatrist to find the way to go about. All the best.

Get in touch with your psychiatrist. Also for generalised anxiety disorder I would suggest you begin by making some lifestyle changes too. Start relaxation ecercises and mindfulness training activities. Cognitive behavior therapy is also very efficient in treating gad. Get in touch with a psychologist near you or online.

I am a 43 years old male. I was suffering from depression & had disturbed sleep and used to wake early morning with out able to sleep then. Due to which I used to feel restless during the day & not able to concentrate on my work. Then I consulted a psychiatrist & he prescribed me stilnot, etirest, rexipra 10, betacap. After taking medication for 2 months he prescribed etirest, rexipra 20 & betacap. By the time I was also taking homeopathic medicine as I did not want to continue allopathic medicine. Now it has been around 9 months after medication when I took rexipra 20, I used to feel heaviness in my head & pain in my left chest & confused during the day. So some times when I skipped rexipra 20, I used to feel better. So, I consulted my psychiatrist & he reduced my rexipra to rexipra 15. But again after taking rexipra 15, I am feeling pain in my head when I wake up in the morning & feel heaviness in my left chest. I.e. I feel better if I do not take rexipra. As I am already taking homeopathic treatment. I consulted my homeopathic doctor & according to him I am responding to his medicine & he said that I can stop rexipra 15. So, please suggest me that, can I stop rexipra 15.

They actually help you rather than harm you in any way. I would recommend that you consult your psychiatrist for suggestions regarding the medications and have your concerns addressed by him. Hello I am 25 year old suffering from general anxiety disorder. I go to doctor he gave me jolivel 50 contain opipramol twice a day .I am on 10 week of course. 50% symptom gone but not fully cure. Then I again go to doctor he added new medicine dothip 50. Is this a correct treatment. How long I fully cure .plz answer these both medicine are antidepressant and belong to tricyclic Antidepressants.

I am a 19 years old. I have been depressed 3 years ago but in between I was little depressed. Doctor has advice me to take C pram s.10 mg.tab. And olimelt 2.5 mg. And szetalo 5 mg. I am feeling like recovered. How many days I have to take medicines. Doctor has not decreased it Is it essential or not .or I have to continue taking it. 3 years is chronic depression, try to go to maintenance dose and combine with CBT, so medication can further be reduced. But dont stop them on your own. All the best

I am taking szetalo ls for depression for 2 months! But now sometime I feels very sleepy at day! Loss libido! Mental forgetfulness, confusion, Fatigue to go somewhere alone! Next day I wake up but it takes time to decide the day! also take eltroxin 50 mg!

What is strength of the medicine and what time you take it? If your thyroid profile is not normal than depression can increase. Send reports privately for more scientific suggestions. Meanwhile eat plenty of green vegetables and fruits and do regular exercise and morning walk Yoga pranayam.

Since you are already on medication I suggest you talk to your treating Psychiatrist and convey your current symptoms to them. It is possible that some changes in medication dosages will help improve the symptoms. As they are familiar with your history it is always better to have a discussion with them regarding this situation.

Jab mene tablet Dr. Dwara btaye tarike se chodi to 20-25 din tak koi problem nhi hui lekin uske baad evening me mood off rehne lag gya abhi Dr. Ne half tablet vapas start krdi mujhe din me lazyness rehti hai pr mera mood acha rhta hai. To mujhe ab medicine kab tak leni chahiye and how to stop medecine gradually for always. What is the right process.

Rexipra ls mein escitalopram or clonazepam milay huay hain. App apne doctor se aagrah karein ki vo sirf escitalopran de dain bina clonazepam ke. Is say aalas khatam ho jayega. Agar dawai band karne par itni jaldi depression fir se ho gaya to mera sujhaav hai ki 3 saal tak dawai khayein.
