Hello, Zolpidem is a good hypnotic sedative medicine. It works best if taken on an as-and-when-required basis. You should follow the principles of sleep hygiene for a good restorative sleep. Also, melatonin, if you wish to start, take a dose of 3 mg rather than 5. Best wishes
thanks.

Dear lybrate-user,
Since how long, you have been taking Aripiren 5? It takes time to give you the benefit.
If the doctor prescribed for 2 - 3 weeks, please wait till it acts. Please go for a follow up again, then she/he may increase the dose. Aripiprazol works differently at different dose. You can not increase on your own - more so a breastfeeding mom.

Hello,
I being a neurologist its difficult to comment on the problem you are facing. But my sincere advise will to get hold of a decent psychiatrist or a institute/medical college with a psychiatrist for proper treatment. You should not neglect it and these can be treated. At the moment you seem to be getting a cocktail of medicines and this needs to be relooked at for better treatment.

I think your daughter may be treated for Bipolar 1. I suggest you take her immediately to a counselor and treat her with talk therapy too. In her later adolescence, there are likely to be some unresolved issues that may go as far as prenatal influences. It comes up at this time seeking a resolution. But unfortunately not many are aware of this and will go untreated and compound the disorder. Both parents must also accompany her to help trace the problems encountered in childhood. There are certa...more

1.Use Deep Breathing

Deep breathing is another effective way to relieve stress and anxiety. It helps you with physical symptoms such as shallow breathing and rapid heart rate, and it also helps with controlling your thoughts. When you practice deep breathing, you're forced to take your thoughts off of whatever is causing you anxiety and to focus on the breathing technique that you are using.

Dear lybrate-user,
normally tunes of songs running in your ears do not disturb you. If you are disturbed and it interferes with your life activities, you may be hallucinating. Along with other symptoms, your psychiatrist may diagnose you as schizophrenia. Please discuss with your psychiatrist the severity of the disturbances with tunes. She/he may adjust the dose or change to another drug or stop a drug or change the diagnosis (may a drug dependence or withdrawal).
