Get bone density checked by DXA scan. Don't rely on cheap BMD scans. And vitamin D3 deficiency. U can take capsules also. Nothing wrong in taking injection. But if you do not want pricks take cap. Uprise D3 60k once a week for 10 weeks. And then once monthly for 6 months. Along with calcium supplements.

If you can afford it, go for it. But as it's too costly, you can consider other things also. Like Taking Good Diet, Doing Some Exercises will also help, Exposure to Sun Especially in the Morning time. U can take oral Medications also which are not so Expensive. Nutritional Supplement and Some Ayurvedic Medicines Will also help you. Good Wishes.

The most accurate way to measure how much vitamin D is in your body is the 25-hydroxy vitamin D blood test. A level of 20 nanograms/milliliter to 50 ng/mL is considered adequate for healthy people. A level less than 12 ng/mL indicates vitamin D deficiency.
You need to take correct the deficiency by injection as you are advised.
