Apriglim is also consist glimepride. Apriglim is just brand name. Carbophage is metformin So you are taking same medicine but with different names Only concern about your dosage and your glycemic control (Blood sugar status)
If your blood sugar is well controlled and your HbA1c is well controlled then no issue, you can continue these medicine
If your sugar is not controlled then you have to consult

Hello, Thanks for the query.
It is difficult give a clear answer whether a SGLT - 2 Inhibitor can be added to existing therapy withput knowing full details of the case. I need to know the following: Fasting, PP glucose levels, HbA1c%, weight, height, serum creatinine & urea levels, eGFR and whethe there is microalbuminura. If kidney function is compromised or eGFR is low, then certain drugs can not be sude including metformin and SGLT-2 Inhibitors. Thanks.

When one takes adequate dosage of drugs, plus follows a strictly controlled diet and does regular exercise, blood glucose does get controlled. Therefore, it appears your present treatment is not proper. I need to know following things for giving any suggestions: fasting & PP glucose levels, HbA1c%, present dietary pattern and extent of daily exercise. Hello sir, thanks for the query. Your medication needs to be changed. Start zoryl mv1 one tablet before lunch and 1 before dinner. Also start tab ziten m 20/500 one tablet in morning before breakfast. Keep your routine regular.
Eat food at regular intervals (every 4 hourly. Eat a balanced diet.
Exercise for atleast 1 hr daily.
Check your sugars after 1 month fbs, pmbs, hba1c.
