If you are doing daily exercise and on low salt diet then you need an additional medicine . I advise you ask your doctor for a prescription of Telmisartan 40mg once a day along with your ongoing medicine.

Your mother can take Angicam LT in place of Losar A as both have the same salts. Eventhough you donot need prescription for that, it will better if you have a cardiologist you are in touch with so that she can be reviewed from time to time in terms of medications and her response to them.

You are taking 4 drugs to control your blood pressure. In young age if some one requires 4 drugs then we should investigate patient for other causes for high blood pressure such as kidneys, coarctation of aorta, endocrine or excessive intake of salt or regular use of pain killers.

1) cresar (Telmisartan) and amlodepin are 2 different drugs. 2) Cresar is a better drug to start with. 3) Cresar H is a combination of two medicines and is more effective in BP lowering. 4) But medication alone do not help unless accompanied with lifestyle changes like daily exercise for 30-35 mins, healthy diet, salt control avoid eating high salty food like chips, namkeens, pickles, papads etc, quit smoking and drinking (if you do) 5) Also I hope your lipid profile and echo has been done, if n...more
