combining Medrol with anastrozole doesn't seems to be connected with feeling of breathing difficulty. better do a SpO2 Check up and consult your doctor for breathing difficulty

What were the markers?

I was recommended to take ngs (cares testing) next-generation sequencing for my mother which can be useful to current treatment. cares and hope foundation are the two labs recommended in united states (estimated around rs. 5 lakhs. Wanted to know is there any good labs available in india for ngs which is cost effective. Please suggest if any. Disease history: my mother was diagnosed with metastatic rectum and breast cancer (both primary) in nov 2015. Immediately gave cape (2000 mg/d)-ox (200 mg) + bevacizumab (500 mg), 6 cycles last cycle mar 2016. Then she took only anastrozole till dec 2020. She had excellent disease free interval till dec 2020. As cea and ca 125 markers raised doctor rechallenged with the same treatment bevacizumab and took 6 cycles (may 2021 last cycle). This time treatment was not much effective. Now recent pet taken on 29 dec shows progression in liver. Liver biopsy consistent with breast carcinoma, currently taking abemaciclib (ramiven 100 mg), letrozole 2.5 mg, mirtaz 7.5 mg, shelcal 500 mg, brevipil, ivabradine, thyronorm.

It takes atleast 3-6 months for the hormonal therapy to show effect.
If it is growing rapidly show it to your doctor. Why was altraz started and not surgery?
Was the disease spread?
Why is surgery not done upfront?

Don't get disheartened.
