Amlodipine induced pedal edema usually takes some time to resolve. It depends on how much edema was there on first hand. But still there are something’s that should be checked out at least considering patient is known hypertensive. Get s.creat, potassium, sodium done. This is bare minimum. Review with reports.

Dear lybrate-user,
atenolol is not the treatment for depression. There are effective treatments like antidepressants and therapy. Please consult a psychiatrist or clinical psychologist. Why did you take so much of atenolol? Is it with suicidal intention? If so, there is urgent need to consult a psychiatrist.
You have the normal side effects of atenolol. Your worry of skin necrosis, may be a part of your untreated depression. It is called as nat - negative automatic thought!
