Hello, thanks for the query.
I have seen the details mentioned. From that it is clear that she needs a detailed examination and may be needs the help of diabetologist as well as neurologist. So such a case can not be managed by online consultation. A detailed examination plus certain specific investigations are required. So please go to a good reputed institution where all the specialists are available. Thanks.

Mr. Lybrate-user, as a lady nears menopause certain psychological disturbances do occur. But these are temporary. Excessive sweating known as" hot flushes" is quite common during this period. This may remain till menopause is attained or even longer in some women. These are usually minor problems, need not lead to any serious psychiatric issues. As regards her tumor in uterus you may take a second opinion from another gynecologist. But her hemoglobin which is low needs to be treated with hematin...more

Dear ,
this is a common problem in children of both sexes. It could be that he has some defect in lumber spine like spina bifida or some adhesions. In majority of cases no organic defect is found either in vertebral column or spinal cord.
In most cases there is psychological problem or faulty habit. To decide what it is one wants to know about history like
1 did he have any dry nights at any stage of his life or from early childhood bedwetting continued?
2. When did it start?

I suffer rage attacks of destruction and screaming for hours, depression, insomnia, vivid musical memories, or what sometimes appears to be musical hallo. Also only once visual hallo. Of streaking flashes of light with extremely miniature face on wall vividly real whose mouth was moving as if speaking though no sound. I get nervous shocks in chest often along with shivering in chest from sounds, and funny rising feeling in stomach that we suspect temporal seizure activity or something. Most problem is severe irritability to noises and stimulus so much unable to sit still and rage attacks of destroying things shouting in acute frenzy. Im on risperidone but want to quit for side effect. Tried many other neuroleptic did not work. Inderal la, clonidine did not work at high dose. Antidep tend to increase symp. Are there alternative to neuroleptic? Does naltrexone work for rage? Does this sound like temp. Epilepsy or postconcussion longterm symp. Since 13 years problem. Now age 27.

I am 42 years old male with no genetic diabetes history. Recently after blood testing found fasting sugar 139 mg/dL and cholesterol (HDL 25, LDL 167 and Triglyceride 355 ). I am doing 4 test in a day with help of gluco check meter. I am finding lots of variation. From day 1 to day 5 - fasting sugar varies from 115 to 160. Whereas after food 2 hrs varies from 95 to 190. I used to drink less water about 500 ml per day and now trying drink 2 to 3ltrs per day. Also to add above I was consuming anti depression medicines depsonil 25 mg x1 and nexito 10 mg x2 once a day for more than year. For last 2 years I have stopped taking those. During those medicine time I use to feel very hungry in morning where I use to eat 8-9 roti's. During that time my skin became very sensitive which use to give little scratches on penis which I think were diabetes symptoms. My BMI is in normal range with height 170 cm and weight 68. 5 kg.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query.
Doing excessive testing is not going to change anything, except getting more pricks. Just do a fasting, PP (2 hrs after food) & HbA1c% or if you want to be doubly sure get an Oral Gllucose Tolerance Test (OGTT) with 75 g of glucose. That will give a clear idea plus HbA1c%. Following are the criteria for diagnosing diabetes: FBG >126 mg and above, PP > 200 mg and above & HbA1c% >6.5%. If these criteria are met then there is diabetes. Which will then req...more
