High blood glucose levels mean current treatment is inadequate. There has to be up gradation in terms of increasing the insulin dosage or adding some of the newer molecule to get better glucose control. Plus we will also have to look at your dietary intake and extent of exercise being done daily. Plus looking at your weight and height it is clear that you have grade 1 obesity with a BMI of 30 44 kgs/M2. This itself is a major contributor for high blood...more

Hello, Thanks for the query.
HbA1c% 10 shows your diabetes is uncontrolled. You need to upgrade the treatment plus there has to be a closer look at your diet and extent of daily exercise. Since there is no mention of fasting, Pp glucose, weight, height, diet pattern and extent of daily exercise, it is very difficult to give any suggestions.
In a well controlled diabetic person fasting glucose should be < 100 mg, Pp 150 to 160 mg & HbA1c5 <6.8. With your high HbA1c% there is a great risk o...more

We need sodium to help maintain blood pressure, regulate fluids, and aid in the function of our nerves and muscles.
Hyponatremia causes can be linked to direct and indirect factors. As our blood sodium levels drop, it is important to take note of recent lifestyle changes, any existing or new health conditions, and possible effects of prescribed medication.
