Dear Tapas,
When did you meet your doctor last? After taking these medicines did you consult her/him? These tablets take 2-3 weeks to start their action. If you follow up with the doctor, she/he will adjust the dose or add therapy.

Your father seems to be in quite advanced stage of the disease. In this stage neuro-rehabilitation is very much warranted. If he has any mood issues, those need to be addressed. Kindly consult a good neuro-rehabilitation physician. At i-nk we have a good neuro-rehabilitation department.

Hello madam,
do not take much medicines. But, any medicine you are taking, use the medicines regularly. Focus on your work you need to do. Focus on one activity and complete it .then after some rest period, you focus on another activity. Do some relaxation exercises. Be confident. Faith on god.

Yes. Nausea and vomiting can be side effects of cholinesterase inhibitors and donepezil (donetaz) is one of the cholinesterase inhibitors. It would be advisable to start at a lower dose which is available as Donepezil 5 mg tablet. There are other alternatives too. Please discuss with your doctor who prescribed it or you contact me for further advise.

Dear Johan,
It is good that you have accepted your condition and ready to live with it. But your family may find it difficult to accept your memory loss. Living like a zombie and brain fog is due to parkinson and NOT a side effect of Donecept. Please talk to your family members about your walking, talking, remembering, constipation and other behaviour. No need to talk about treatment, allopathy or natural.
