Increase your consumption of antioxidant-rich foods like cherries, blueberries, blackberries, grapes and pineapples. They prevent inflammation of the joints and help in the excretion of uric acid.
Try apple cider vinegar. Not only is it known to lower uric acid levels,...more

A high uric acid level can be caused when your body either produces too much uric acid or your kidneys don't eliminate uric acid rapidly enough.

Thanks for the query. It is difficult to give any opinion without looking at actual levels of FBG, PP & HbA1c%, TSH, BP readings. Plus there's no mention whether you have diabetes. So it will be good if all details are given. Thanks.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query.
Since you are already taking Zyloric twice a day, that should help in controlling the symptoms of gout. This drug has to be taken for long before it helps reduce uric acid level. Dosage can be increased slowly to get better result. Better to contact your doctor who has prescribed the medicine. To control there may be a need for additional treatment. Thanks.
