Aldactone is used to treat heart failure, high blood pressure (hypertension), or hypokalemia (low potassium levels in the blood). Aldactone also treats fluid retention (edema) in people with congestive heart failure, cirrhosis of the liver, or a kidney disorder called nephrotic syndrome. It is not related to menstrual issues

Since your history suggests you have hyperandrogenism (hence spironolactone), the acne treatment can take long but is possible. You can best consult a dermatologist and an endocrinologist for the long term management. You can take oral Vitamin A derivatives only on prescription combined with peels for acne which enhance the results many folds. Also peels will take care of scarring and pigmentation.

Spiranolactone/ bisoprolol / apixaban all medicines seems to be started for valid indications.
Spiranolactone may cause alopecia (hair loss) and also insomnia (sleep disturbance)
bisoprolol and apixaban are very very less likely to result in the said adverse effect.
Would like to know from you when was your dvt diagnosed and how long have you took apixaban and at what dose, was any scan done after 3 or 6 month interval to find residual dvt if any, and what was the cause for your dvt ...more
