Aldactone can cause effects on the baby. Since you have taken unwanted, this shouldn't be a concern and you can continue the medications.

Hello, Thanks for the query. Madam Spironolactone is used in PCOD to reduce absorption of androgens (testosterone) and reduce symptoms associated with that like male pattern of hair growth. It is usually given along with birth control pills. As regards Levothyroxine I am sure you have been already taking it to control TSH, hence it has to be continued in the same dosage. If you have any questions please do come back.Thanks.

Hi Varalika the medicine you are taking is not at all a permanent solution to the PCOD... and it will cause more harm then benefits...

Most of your symptoms are because of PCOD and by taking homoeopathic medicine it can all be cured permanently...

You may consult to the homoeopath of your own choice...who is very thorough in practice.

Men cannot use Aldactone. It's especially helpful for women with hormonal disorders that trigger acne, or who have acne along with other problems like unwanted facial hair.
