It is wormicide. If your child has worm infestation, it will work. Don't give it to 1 month child because it is unlikely that 1 month child has worm infestation! so it is not recommended below 6 months of age.

Warm welcome to Lybrate.com

to be repeated after 15 days.* The urine itch will not be of any benefit from zeebee as it is possible urinary or vaginal cause. For that keep genitals clean with antiseptic liquid, dry
make her wear loose, cotton inner wears allow her plenty of liquids. Hope this clear...more

Dear parents, each and every drug has side effects, but the intensity of side effects varies with person to person. Usually albendazole is very safe drug and it is essential to kill worms in your baby's gut and prevent worm infestation (so government applied deworming campaign using albendazole biannually for 1 to 5 year child). It is possible that dizziness and vomiting could be due to albendazole or could be due to other cause, but this drug is generally very safe and no or minimal side effect...more

What do you mean by "Persistent vomiting? Do you get vomiting every day? After each time some thing is eaten? Or there is no relation to food intake? Is there hyperacidity? Please clarify.

Hello, thanks for the query. Madam since you are on 75 mcg of tablet thyronorm, means there is hypothyroidism. I hope your tsh is in prescribed range (3 to 4 mu/l (. As regards taking albendazole it is better taken with or just after dinner. So there is no problem in taking that. No need to take on empty stomach. Thanks.
