Aerocort is short acting reliever plus a steroid, Duolin is short plus long acting reliever, and Seroflo is long acting reliever with a steroid. I am sure you are more confused now. Seroflo is good for those having long standing persistent breathlessness and is used permanently. Other two are combinations of reliever (relieving the symptoms immediately) at the same time containing steroid also known here as preventer (which helps internal congestion of tubes. It is preferred that your doctor pre...more

Aerocort rotacaps are for asthma and should be used in emergency only, as they are used as rescue medicine. For regular use, use asthma preventor medicine by inhalation with spacer.

I have asthma from last 2-3 years (that's what I discovered when I continuously do coughing in a sudden weather change). I took budetrol 200 for 1 month and then I looked homeopathy solutions instead of taking inhalers for a very long time (i'm 33 running) have been taking homeopathy medicine from almost 2 months now but many of the times I need to take inhaler once a day. (currently I am taking salbutamol sulphate rotacaps 200 mcg) I want to know is this ever curable? Is there any test to know the trigger agent (food/atmosphere/etc.)? Is there any exercise that I do permanently long time and it helps to always control and I do not feel the need of taking inhalers to breathe properly? Is there any surgery or something else? I feel practically its very tough to take care of yourself from the precautionary measures to be taken (like do not eat this/do not stay in ac/do not go to cold weather/etc.)

Hello, for asthma treatment there are two types of medication, controller and reliver.
Controller is to be taken regularly to avoid exacerbation and reliver is to be taken only during emergency purpose. Asthalin is a reliver.
So to get your asthma in control you need to get yourself checked from a chest physician and start a proper controller therapy.
If you feel the need to take asthalin once a day meaning other treatments are clearly not working! tc.

No, not at all. It has nothing to do with curing scabies. As scabies is a mite infestation & steroids don't kill mites.

I am 25 years old and suffering from asthma like conditions for approx 6 years. Once back in time I was recommended by some doctor to use inhaler for relieve and it has become my pet medicine since then. The degree problem in breathing is mostly not severe during day but causes discomfort mainly at night during bed time and also sometimes wheezing and so I use it one full or sometimes half capsule of aerocort rotacaps to inhale at night. I am so addicted to this drug that I often take it on doubt of discomfort at night or daytime. I am also somewhat allergic to dust and smoke based on season, usually causes sneezing and problem in respiration. Also undergone sinus operation 3 years back and once used otrivin adult too much for nose blockage, but now I have quit that. Wish to live normal drug free life, want to get back normal breathing life. Sorry to be too long, but that's my suffering, please guide.

We have good homeopathic medicines for asthma, sinuses, cold allergy and many other respiratory diseases.
But the recurrency of your disease needs to be broken, which is possible only by constitutional homeopathic medicines.
For this, we need to record all your physical as well as psychological symptoms, so that proper treatment is to be started then.
So do book an online appointment for detailed case to be taken and treatment to be started as soon as possible.
Besides this, take...more

I think you have wrong information about lung inflammation .ask your treating doctor about the prescribed medication. Ibuprofen and other oral anti-inflammatory medication (except steroids) have no role in asthma.
