If you are feeling better with one puff of inhalation, it is OK. if you still have symptoms you can have 2 puffs three times daily. You don't have to take it continuously. Take it only when you have symptoms

Mr. Lybrate-user,there is no permanent solution for asthma. You would have to inhalational medications esp. In winters when it exacerbates due to allergens in environment. Protect yourself from cold winds and avoid hot/spicy foods.

Asthma is mostly an allergic disease and mostly of a familial origin. The most important approach is to identify and avoid the factors that makes the problem worse. Secondly modifying immunity in such a way that you are no longer reactive to the factors your are sensitive too. Here homoeopathy place a quick and prompt relief and can cure you permanently. Hair fall may happen due to many reason like anaemia, nutritional deficiency, skin disorder, mental and physical trauma, stress, hormonal imbala...more

Dear Lybrateuser, your mentioned symptoms are symptoms of Chest Infection.
You can try steam inhalation for temporary relief, but you may need an opinion from a Pulmonologist.
Wishing you good health.

Steam inhalation is given if there is any congestion in the throat (larynx), nose and sometimes in the lungs due to infection or allergy. It only relieves congestion to some extent. It is not a treatment which may need antibiotics or antihistaminics.
