With appropriate treatment blood glucose levels should be well controlled, like fasting < 100 mg, PP 150 to 160 mg & HbA1c% <6.8. The tablet mentioned is to be taken for treating diabetes for quite a long time. Because diabetes is going to go away after 16 days. Since no other information is guven like fasting, pp glucose & hba1c%, no further comments can be made. If you have developed diabetes then treatment has to be continued for life time.
