Hello sir. If you have exogenous oochronosis which often occurs due to application of hydroquinone, then it is advisable to use products which do not contain it. Demelan cream contains arbutin which is a form of naturally occuring hydroquinone. I would advise you to consult a certified dermatologist near your area and get the black spots checked. The cream is a nice one but don't use it unsupervised, better to get a consultation done.

Dear sir, there is no conclusive evidence that it Hydroquinone is definitely related to cancer or not. But cosmetic products do contain chemicals and should be user with caution. Any burning sensation or allergic reaction, it should be discontinued.

Hydroquinone is not a steroid, it is a phenol derivative used to treat hyperpigmentation. It is not safe to use for a long time. For active pimples use clindymycin/ b.peroxide/ adapalene cream or whatever cream used earlier prescribed by a dermatolgist. Start treatment of pih once the lesions of acne are gone and fully treated. Thanks.

Dark pigmentation around the mouth needs to be checked for the reasons of its appearance. Pigmentations :they are difficult to treat and may take long and may still not go fully. Say under the expert guidance of a dermatologist. Its good to stop medications for some time and allow the skin to re-generate and use a sunscreen to prevent fresh pigmentation.
Ance scars may take a long time to settle or reduce and may or may not go completely and do not need any treatment since its pat of the bod...more
