Ra factor in my blood is 120. The doctors prescribed me following medicines. Are they enough to reduce ra factor1. Calcium carbonate vit d3 500 mg 250iu2. Diclofenac and paracetamol 50 mg 325 mg3. etoricoxib 90 mg4. Methylcobalamin and pregabalin 750 mcg 75 mg.

It might be increased in a normal person who doesn't have any signs & symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis. It's very essential to know your symptoms before commenting to your medicines prescribed. How long can I take finenerve ntp tablet (pregabalin 75 mg + nortriptyline 10 mg) for nerve pain related to cervical spondylitis? I have taken the medicine initially for 10 days. Pain was almost gone that time, but after stopping, pain started coming again. For how many days this medicine can be used safely? If I need to stop the medicine, then how to stop? Please tell me the dose and duration of this medicine, if I need to continue it for several months in a year?

Pregabalin with nortryptyline is a medicine which has definite indications and contraindications. It should be taken only on the prescription of a qualified doctor. It should never be stopped suddenly.

My HDL is not increasing inspite of good diet. It ium 26 and B12 is not increasing inspite of fine nerve capsule containing methylcobalamin. I have taken B12 capsule for three months but its not increasing. Should l take injection.

becosule contains only 15 mcg of methylcobalamine (b12) but also has other vitamin b complexes. So it should be fine to take both of them. Also at yoyears age, I would advice you to start taking calcium and d3 after going for dexa scan as with age, calcium and d3 deficiencies are common cause of weak bones. Regards.

I am 58 years male. I suffered HZ in 2014 severely and treated with valacyclovir 3 gm per day for 7 days. Ever since then there is severe itching in the back spine near thoracic area. I was on Pregabalin with Methylcobalamin 1500 Mcg for 3 months. But still I have lot of itching in the entire back along the spine. Please suggest what am I to do.

Take anti allergic along with the med you are taking. Also keep sugar under control. Local antiallergenic ointment can also be used.

Sir, my father is having tingling and numbness sensation in last 2 fingers of left hand from last two months. We visited doctor and doctor prescribed methylcobalamin and pregabalin tablets. The nerve conduction study was also done with normal findings. Still after two months he has no relief. Kindly guide us what is the problem if ncv is normal and what should be our further course of action.

The medication prescribed to you by your doctor are correct but if you are not having releife then your medication needs to be updated. Also get his vit b12 and hba1c checked.

Dear sir after that pain I have consulted doctor urologist and surgeon and I have done scrotum scanning abdomen and pelvis scanning and then ct scan with contrast but in that there is no any such changes and reports are normal after that one doctor is telling that you have hernia and again I have consulted other doctor and has told me you don't have any hernia you take doxofylline for 20 days it will be ok I have used for 20 days then also my pain was not reduced again I have consulted one more urologist and they have prescribed pregabalin and methylcobalamin for 20 days after taking that 20 days then also it has not been reduced and again I have consulted doctor and he has given amoxicillin with clavulanic acid thrice in a day and pregabalin and methylcobalamin morning and evening and diclofenac with serratiopeptidase I am taking this medication from past 3 days when have taken diclofenac and serratiopeptidase the pain is ok after that again the train is coming I don't know what have to do now and kindly prescribe some good medication in ayurvedic.

Exactly where r you getting pain if the pain in groin region I am suggesting you mri because it may be sportsman groin hernia it can be missed in ct sometimes.

Dont take ultracet for long duration and decrease dosage of pregabalin too. Pregab shud be started at 75mg. Best supplement would be methylcobalamin for radiculopathy, it is present in surbex star or meconerv forte which cud be taken once daily .
