I am 20 years old female and I suffered from herpes labialis. I was infected since I was only 9 or 10 years old. At first, there were only some blisters at the corner of my month. After a week, my lips started to swell and I applied topical acyclovir cream on that corner. The blisters now already disappeared and only some redness left behind, however, my lips kept swollen. I wondered whether it is cheilitis induced by hsv-1. But my cold sore was nearly healed why my lips still being swollen? What should I do?

Hi, it takes time for recovery after herpes infections. You may take symptomatic treatment while the swelling subsides.

Sir, I have been treated from genital herpes with acyclovir medicine taking up to 1 month. Now I stopped that medicine after doc prescription. Now I have been suffering from itching & rashes on penis foreskin from last 25 days and after prescribed by general sergen I have taking antibiotics like fexigra and remain cv but there are no any improvement. I am suffering hsv2 igg 4.32 positive from sept 2019 I have 2 outbreak till now and taking medicine acyclovir 200 mg thrice in a day as well as fluconazole prescribed by my gynaecologist. I am planning for a marriage next year in april I just want to know if I don't have any outbreaks can I go with unprotected sex so that my partner not affected by me. I had test of hiv, vdrl, urine two times and all are negative. Is there cure of hsv2 in ayurveda.

Igg positive does not indicate active disease that indicate past infection so you do not need any treatment for it.
You can go for marriage.

Hi, im 20 years of age, male, I have constant pain on my neck and shoulder to the right rise (radiculopathy), my general practitioner says it's pain from shingles, it could be phn, i've been taking acyclovir (200 mg 4 times a day) and pregabalin (150 mg at night daily), I first got treatment in january and took the medication for 2 weeks and the pain went away, the pain started again last month, I have been taking the same medication as before with the same dosages but the pain hasn't gone away.

I was diagnosed with genital herpes in Nov last year and ever since I had 3 recurring episodes in the interval of four months. Twice in between the Genital herpes episodes, I was also diagnosed balanitis Candida and was given fluconazole tab for 4 weeks for it. HIV and HCV test were negative. For Herpes doctor gave me acyclovir for 5 days whenever it happened. My question is - 1.Do I need to undergo suppressive therapy by way of taking acyclovir daily and for how long? 2. Will I catch any other disease/STD or medical issue because of Genital herpes even I don't have sex until I get married and practice safe sex? 3. Does Genital Herpes suppresses my immunity and I tend to fall sick easily in my life? 4.Do I need to have any vaccination to protect myself from other STDs and HIV, if yes, then which vaccination?

I am 50 year old male with thyroid levels asunder as on 2 april 2015:- t3 - 1.90 mg/ml t4 - 11.87 mg/dl tsh - 0.010 mu/ml I have been advised neomercazole (carbazimine) 5 mg. But for the last 3 months I also have severe itchy patches (thickened and scaly dark skin) in the groin area of the thigh but not on genitals, which causes a lot of itch and scratching. Smaller patches have also appeared on my neck and chin, red and itchy. Please diagnose and advise.

Dear this itchy patches may be because of some fungal infection. You can try applying candid cream twice a day and apply some talcum powder to keep the area dry. If it does not help, then you hv to visit the doctor personally.

Hi, I take duphaston from 17 day of my period to 27 day, my doctor prescribed me to perform s. progesterone level to check whether a ovulation process occur or not, so the result is 133.6 mg/ml it high from the luteal phase so kindly answer me whats the reason behind this, its high level due to I have take duphaston or any other reason, I want to conceive, firstly doctor prescribed me cerophene from 2nd day of my cycle for 5 day, me and my husband test result are ok kindly answer me earlier.I m so much confused.

ovulation has taken place but in this you will not come to know which day it has taken place. better method is to do follicular study in which you come to know the day the egg rupture and you can have intercource and pregnancy chances are better

My mother 76 years has a psychiatrist problem. She keep talking maximum of whole day with persons she know.(and all persons she talk are away and far away from her. Maximum talks are negative she is also in negative mood and very very upset at that time. And at that time she understand that person she talk is very strongly caught her and not leave her. Speak loudly and very Upset. Medicine given Risperidone liquid 1 mg/ml. 1 ml in morning ,1 ml in evening. But problem not end. Daily basis problem run permanently .please suggest some solution for permanently end of this problem. Thank you.

We can't permanently end this problem because of her age but I will suggest her to take injection vitcofol 2 cc intramuscularly every alternate days for five pricks over the buttocks through a health professional.
