Hi, Deciding how long you need to continue acitrom depends upon person's risk of having another blood clot compared to risk of bleeding. Recommend treatment duration is from minimum 3 months to max lifelong. U need to discuss this with your doctor and accordingly that you need to continue or discontinue acitrom. Thank you.
