The major ingredient antifungal fluconazole is the same in both the drugs and be used flucos lotion is a combination of two antifungal medicines: fluconazole and zinc pyrithione which treat dandruff. Fluconazole kills fungi by destroying the fungal cell membrane. Zinc pyrithione works by penetrating the cell membrane of the fungi to interfere with their energy metabolism and oxygen uptake. The red itchy patches that yo are referring to can be due to some allergy and some more information will be required about it to evaluate the reason. If it is only allergy related, it can be reduced and can even stop.
