Hello lybrate-user To loss fat you need to reduce your calorie intake below your daily calorie requirement.(BMR×Activity level) and putting yourself 500 calories deficit every day should result in the loss of 1 pound every week. According to ht. And wt. Your BMI is 25 .Along with gym you need high protein and well balanced diet .consult me with your activity level ,health problem if any etc.

As you feel pain in knee, follow these usefultips for pain relief: * first check out bone mineral density (bmd). In case of low bmd, your calcium level in body are low. So take calcium rich diet daily. Take a glass (300 ml) of full cream milk daily or 100 gm of cheese or 1-2 eggs regularly. * give a gentle oil massage to knee regularly and wrap your knees with cloth dipped in hot water for atleast 10-15 minutes. * wear knee cap or wrap crape bandage during walk for knee support. * sit atleast for 5-8 minutes in sunlight in morning or evening for vitamin-d. *avoid heal shoe and wear only flat shoes for balanced load on knees. * check out your blood sugar level and hemoglobin level in every 6 months. * if you have any history of rheumatoid arthritis in family then checkout your ra factor. * take guggalu tablets if himalaya one tablet daily for atleast 3 months. * take a piece of garlic, crush it and boil it a glass of milk and drink daily for fast pain relief.

There are many lifestyle and dietary guidelines that can be followed: take high protein prescribed diet, have paneer, eggs and potatoe daily. Incorporate dry fruits in your diet on a daily basis. Hi, I checked up. 18 Ounces per day of Dahi recommended by you equals to 510 grams plus. Do you really mean that much curd? 2ndly, an Ayurveda doctor told me recently that curd is not good for the body, though he said that if at all, it is better to take lassi or chhaachh, i.e. To make one glass of lassi of 400-450 ml, you need about 100 gm of curd and add plain water to it, shake and take. 3rdly, he said that while lassi can be taken upto lunch time or even upto say 4 -5 pm, it should not at all be taken after 6 pm and particularly at dinner time. Kindly comment and enlighten me.

I would say 100-250 gm curd per day should be fine for an average person. As for which food to take at what time. Please understand this fact that different people will tell you different things. Different streams of medicine has different beliefs. But I have seen that mostly people rush to Allopathic doctors despite believing in different things at home. You can take curd any time of the day it will not harm.

Meal # 1 (Breakfast) 4 hard-boiled egg whites. 1 Egg white omelet in olive oil. 2 slices of brown bread. 1 serving (30 gms) of plain oatmeal with skim milk (I prefer add 10 Almonds and 20 grams Walnuts and few raisins for taste). Meal # 2 (Snack) 1 serving of broccoli. 3 hard-boiled eggs whites. Meal # 3 (Lunch) Half tandoori chicken. 1 roti. 1 cup of mixed vegetables (Specially cucumber). 1 apple. Meal # 4 (Post workout meal) 1 Banana with whey protein shake. Meal #5 (Dinner) 2 large cups of vegetables and fruits (Including cucumber, watermelon and papaya). ½ cup spinach. 5-6 berries such as strawberries.

Do regular exercise, daily massage your body with oil, take proper diet, milk,cows ghee in regularly, fresh fruits, dry fruits, green vegetables, protein rich food, proper sleep, avoid late night work, overexertion,excessive tea, coffee,cold drinks, chilled water, foods kept in fridge, fast food, bakery foods.

Avoid outside spicy and fried food. Walk about 3-5 kms daily. There should be gap of 2hrs after dinner and sleep. Small and frequent meals is of help. Keep your blood sugar controlled. Raise your bed about 4" from headend side. Get your gastroendoscopy done. Tab nexpro-l 1 tab empty stomach.
