Hello. Given that you are in your teen years you will eventually have a growth spurt solving most of your current worries. However it is good to avoid sugary diets and junk food. Alternatively for muscular body try calisthenics. Additionally for height sports which require jumping might help. But genetics does play a role. So if your parents are tall you actually do not have anything to worry.

Normally one feels palpitations/fast breathing while running. If you feel it's beyond normal than you should practice rib stretching exercises or pranayama. Eg Stand upright with your back arched. Exhale all the oxygen from your lungs. Breathe in slowly, filling your lungs as much as possible. Hold your breath for at least 10 seconds. Slowly exhale. Other than this you may have some Ayurveda medicines to enhance your capacity like peepali is a good herb.

Hi lybrate-user It is absolutely ok if you are taking whey protein in proper amount means 1.2-1.5 gm/ kg orally. They are absolutely contraindicated if you are allergic to cow's milk.

Dear lybrate-user Kindly investigate the cause of weight loss. Commonest cause is Diabetes and TB I would suggest kindly do basic screen of full medical check-up which usually now being offered for RS 1000/- in many pathology laboratory. Then if everything is normal consult a dietitian for a detailed schedule diet chart. Hopefully your questions is answered.

Your desire to gain weight naturally without resorting to any medicines or quick fix solutions is worth appreciating. Besides gaining weight, you should also focus on improvemnt in stamina, strength, immunity and endurance. Weight gain needs patience and happens gradually with improved appetite and sensible eating. Weight gain needs a healthy wholesome diet with increase in proteins, healthy fats and required carbohydrate intake. Include more of fish, eggs, chicken, nuts and oilseeds in your diet with ample quantity of fresh fruits and vegetables. Do not skip meals and eat frequently. Do some exercise like walk for 30-40 mins daily along so that digestion is good. Take care that you do not have constipation and are properly hydrated. Eat 4 to 5 small meals spaced 3 to 4 hours apart. (speeds up metabolism and assures a continuous supply of nutrients to the body) drink plenty of water avoid fatty foods and foods high in simple sugars don't skp meals or fast in attempt to lose weight (fasting slows metabolism) engage in weight training to increase lean muscle mass engage in low intensity aerobic exercise, i.e. Stationary biking, 30 minutes per day, 3-4 days per week stick to the 65-70% carb, 15-20% protein, and 10-15% fat per meal guideline don't lose more than 1 to 2 pounds per week, if you are losing weight at a faster rate your are most likely loosing lean muscle mass and not consuming enough calories or essential nutrients prepare your meals ahead of time, schedule eating times into your daily schedule to avoid overtraining, budget your time to allow for 8 hours of uninterupted sleep per night.

Eat More. Eat more calories than your body burns. Eat More Meals. Small meals are easier to eat than big ones. Eat Caloric Dense Foods. Food high in carbs and/or fats has more calories per serving. Eat More Protein. Go Liquid. Track Calories. Lift Heavy. Be Consistent.

Maximize muscle building. The more protein your body stores—in a process called protein synthesis—the larger your muscles grow. Eat meat. Eat more. Work your biggest muscles. But first, have a stiff drink. Lift every other day. Down the carbs after your workout. Eat something every 3 hours.
