Dear Lybrateuser, - Whey protein is generally safe & does not have side effects if taken in appropriate dose - higher doses can cause side effects like increased bowel movements, thirst, cramps, weakness, tiredness, bloating, nausea & loss of appetite - consumption will depend on your other sources of protein intake, level of activity & the protein content of the brand per gram of powder, normal protein requirement of the body per day is about 1gm/ kg of body weight.

I will suggest you to not to take any supplement. Because you cannot take supplement for whole life .and if you leave them they will start showing their side effects. Which are worse and difficult to recover.

No specific time for juice however you can use as per enviorment ususally in cold enviorment hot liquids more helpful. But as such no bar of time.

Hi, Its better to drink green tea on empty stomach, may be 30 minutes before breakfast. And in the evening around 4-5 p.m. When your stomach will be empty again after a long gap of meal. If you want a snack, eat it after 30 minutes of green tea consumption in evening.

Hi lybrate-user. In Pcos. Weight shd be Reduced by taking less carb and more protein. You should avoid unhealthy eating outside. Evening meal should be before 7 pm ,then take a long speedy walk. Eat Almonds if feeling hunger in night. Take proper medicine s Which is prescribed or balance your harmone level. Balance thyroid functions. Proper 8 hrs sleep. Etc.

Almond Milk - 9 Amazing Health Benefits!

For many people, the only source of calcium is their daily dose of milk. However, vegans, lactose intolerant people, and those who are not too fond of milk have a substitute in almond milk. While it gives the same amount of nutrients, it does not have as many calories and also has a host of other health benefits.

It is creamy, nutty, and is fortified with vitamins D, B, and E. The calcium component is slightly low as compared to normal milk and therefore additional calcium intake should be planned for. Some of the significant health benefits include:

  1. Calorie cutting: A cup of unsweetened almond milk gives only about 30 calories. Compare and contrast this with 146 calories in whole milk, 122 calories in 2% milk, 102 calories in 1% milk, and 86 calories in skim milk. While almond milk per se does not help you lose weight, using it as a substitute for other higher calorie drinks definitely helps in losing weight.
  2. Effect on blood sugar: It contributes much less calories than cow’s milk and so does not push up sugar levels. It also has a low glycemic index, therefore will not be stored as fat.
  3. Added fiber: Almond milk provides higher content (5 g) of dietary fiber per cup. This is higher than regular milk and helps reduce hunger and prevents obesity. Using the high-fiber almond milk for breakfast along with bran cereals can help reduce hunger pangs and keep you full for longer periods of time
  4. Digestion: The good amount of fiber aids digestion overall. It is also lactose free and so a good substitute for milk for lactose-intolerant people (about 25% of the general population).
  5. Heart Healthy: The absence of cholesterol, reduced sodium, and good amounts of omega fatty acids make it extremely heart healthy.
  6. Bone Friendly: Though it contains less amount of calcium, it supplies about 30% of the daily calcium needs and about 25% of the required vitamin D levels. The result is improved better teeth, healthier bones, and reduced risk of osteoporosis and arthritis.
  7. Glowing skin: The high content of vitamin E (about 50% of daily dose) with its antioxidant properties protects the skin against sun damage, leading to increased glow.
  8. Muscle strength and healing: Almond milk contains plenty of vitamin B and iron and riboflavin which promote healing and improve muscle strength.
  9. Protein content: Almond milk contains only about 1 g (silk almond) to 5 g (fiber varieties). However, cow’s milk has about 8 g and therefore protein substitutes should be looked at.

The next time you are not keen on drinking cow’s milk, try the almond milk. It is proven to be tastier too!

Hi, Add 1tsp honey with 2 tsp lemon juice to luke warm water and have it in empty stomach in morning. Include fish (mackerel, tuna, trout, salmon, sardines) in your diet. Replace carbohydrate foods in your diet with with protein foods like quinoa, oats, lean meat, egg white, skin out chicken, spinach, broccoli, jowar, bajra, wheat. Include buttermilk, green tea, lemon water in your day's schedule. Avoid oily and fat foods, junk foods, carbonated beverages, roots like potato, yam, colocasia. Have a post workout meal which mainly is protein in nature. Take sufficient amount of fibre rich foods and consume enough amount of water in a day. Give a gap of 2 hours between dinner and sleep.

These might be symptoms of allergy. You can take tab levocetrizine 5 mg twice daily, as it cause drowsiness. Avoid activity which needs concentration. It will definitely help. If you have any nasal irritation you can use nasal saline drops. Wear warm clothes and sip warm beverages.

Take diet rich in protein like non-veg. Eggs, pulses, legumes, sprouts, nuts (sp. Walnut and almonds), iron-rich food like green vegetables, also take flaxseeds, green tea, soyabean, fruits, salads, etc. Take proper 6-9 hrs of sound sleep. Give up the habit of smooking and excessive alcohol intake. Avoid junk food and any kind of beverages (tea, coffee, aerated drinks, cold drinks, etc.) Avoid canned/ tinned food or food that contains preservatives (eat fresh ones). Avoid vigorous exercises or any supplements provided by the gym! With regular medicines you will be able to enjoy your sexual activity.

Chickenpox erruptions usually dried up and the skin peels/falls off within 2 weeks normally. Scratching causes injury and delays healing. It all depends on your health condition. If you are feeling fine. No weakness, no health issues you can run. But try not to fatigue yourself. Get a physical examination done before running. Otherwise you can participate in marathon.

Hi, there are many foods that help you for a healthy heart. Berries such as strawberries, blueberries, about 5-6 walnuts a day, 4-5 almonds a day keep your heart healthy. Usage of other healthy foods like oats, olive oil, rice bran oil, fatty fish like salmon, mackerel, Avocado (in limited portion) is best suited. Avoid junk foods, red meat, oily and fatty foods, stay hydrated all the time. Decrease the spicy foods as they can trigger blood pressure. Inclusion of Whole grain cereals, legumes and pulses along with vegetables and fruits gives you an added advantage. Vegetables like Beetroot, asparagus, bell peppers (capsicum), broccoli, garlic and ginger (in limited quantity), onions and green leafy vegetables have a positive impact on your heart and cholesterol levels. Regular exercise with at least 20-30 minutes walking initially and extending it to 15 minutes every 10 days will be helpful as you have a better peripheral circulation.
