There are no food items that can specifically bring about changes in your arms. Do not expect such things as there is nothing scientific about it. Invest time in healthy habits (eating healthy and balanced diet and exercising every day. Join a gym if needed ). 4 weeks diet chart of indian version of ketogenic diet for weight loss –


A proper keto cycle works for 4 weeks. Lets see the diet week by week

Week 1 –

You can alternate between or choose from the below mentioned options for entire week

Breakfast

  • Cheese pakora (fried in peanut oil / coconut oil)
  • Cheesy egg omlette with lots of cheese (cooked in olive oil and butter)
  • Cheesy scrambled egg with lots of capsicum (cooked in olive oil and butter)

Lunch

  • Simple salad (spinach, capsicum, mushrooms, stir fried in olive oil and butter, sometimes with chicken, sometimes with eggs and sometimes only veggies topped with lots of cheese)
  • Cream of palak soup with stir fried mushrooms / broccoli
  • Solkadhi and baked french beans (whole) with cheese
  • Cauliflower curry in coconut milk and coconut oil
     

Dinner 

  • Baked spinach with cheese and cream
  • Lemon chicken stew
  • Fried paneer pakora
  • Stir fried mutton with spices of choice
  • Cabbage salad / cabbage thoran with coconut (kerala style veggie)

 
Week 2

In this week we introduce a special mix of coconut oil, cream and butter. All you need to do is beat these 3 ingredients together and gulp it down. I know it is hard, but you will do it if you want to lose weight. If this sounds like a torture to you, mix it up with your tea or coffee decoction. Add whatever spice it takes for your tongue to accept this. Please dont add ay sugar, you can use artificial sweeteners like stevia and sugarfree natura. This mix will help a great deal in enhancing your fat loss. Lets call this coffee mix as bullet coffee.

Breakfast 

Bullet coffee (coffee / tea mixed with coconut oil, cream and butter mix)
 

Lunch 

  • Simple salad (spinach, capsicum, mushrooms, stir fried in olive oil and butter, sometimes with chicken, sometimes with eggs and sometimes only veggies topped with lots of cheese)
  • Spiced, fried paneer pakora
  • Red channa salad
  • Lemon chicken
  • Soya nugget curry
  • Stir fried lady finger with peanuts (maharashtrian style)
     

Dinner 

  • Stir fried french beans with cheese topping / cheese fondue
  • Cauliflower cooked in coconut milk and coconut oil
  • Cream of mushroom
  • Chicken stew
  • Cheese pakora
     

Week 3 

As the weeks progresses, keto diet is going to get tougher by each passing day. Week 3 calls for a fasting stage. So we are going to eat early breakfast, no lunch and after a 12 hour fasting, we will have a fat full dinner. This is called intermittent fasting. (read more about intermittent fasting)

Breakfast 

Bullet coffee

Lunch 

Fasting, just keep on sipping water and sugar less green tea / lemon water with pepper

Dinner 

  • 6-8 soaked almonds everyday for this week
  • Chicken in pesto sauce with paneer and spinach leaves stir fried in olive oil
  • Paneer chilly
  • Chicken barbecue with spinach and cheese salad
  • Spinach egg omlette with lots of cheese
     

Week 4

It really really getting very tough now. This week you are required to eat only dinners. While fasting for the entire day. Yes you can have green teas, lemon water (with salt and pepper), green teas (without sugar), and yes lots and lots of water. If fasting this strictly seems difficult to you, you can go back to week 2 and start following from there on again.


Breakfast

  • Black tea / lemon tea / peach tea (without sugar)
  • Black coffee
  • Lunch 
  • Green tea (without sugar)
  • Lemon water (without sugar)
  • Lots and lots of water

Dinner 

  • Stir fried green beans with coconut and peanut
  • Shezuan chicken
  • Spinach cooked in milk, cream and cheese
  • Stir fried veggies with spicies and cream dressing
  • Chicken stew
  • Thai chicken
  • Lemon chicken
  • Stir fried paneer with spinach and bell pepper
  • Almond flour pancakes

How to Lose Weight in Summer?

Well its summer now and I think we all have put on enough weight by gorging on hot, spicy and oily food during the winter. Well it is said that winter makes people hungry, I do not know about you but it surely made me hungry and it also made me put on a few kilos. Now the main problem is to how to lose the winter fat as summer is here and of course, you want to flaunt your perfect swimsuit body on the beach, don’t you? However, the major problem is the few pounds of flesh on the love handles, which is making all the women worry to death.

Well but don’t worry because I am going to give you a few workout and diet tips, which will make your body slim and trim again.

Therefore, the first summer diet tip is cut down the food you eat and go organic. Organic in the sense means eat more of salads, fruits, and vegetables. Avoid oil, butter, ghee, paneer, cheese, and other fattening dairy products. Switch to green tea, mint tea or lemon tea, any tea is fine as long as you do not add milk to it.

The best green tea can be prepared at home and the directions are given below:

  • Boil water in a vessel
  • Add Tealeaves, Lemon Grass, Tulsi / Basil Leaves, Lemon Juice, Elaichi / Cardamon   Lavang / Clove to it.
  • Boil the tea for 10- 15 minutes
  • Strain the tea in a cup, and add Jaggery / Gur or Honey as per your wish and mix well.

This is the recipe of healthy, tasty, aromatic, homemade green tea.

Work out regularly and make sure that you hit the gym daily. Unless you work out you will not be able to lose weight.

Every morning on an empty stomach, drink a glass of warm water mixed with a teaspoon of lemon juice and honey.

This is one of the easiest ways to reduce weight.

Control your diet - Remember weight loss plan is made up of 80 % diet plan and 20 % workout plan. Therefore, you ought to control your diet. Eat a light dinner in fact you should only eat salad and soup at night. Make sure that you eat your dinner at least 2 hours before you go to sleep.

Get good sleep, if you sleep well, then the metabolism of your body will be good which will in turn help you to burn your extra calories faster.

Hence, these are some of the tips you ought to follow to reduce weight this summer.

Ask her to eat a diet which is rich in proteins like eggs, non-vegetarian food twice weekly and if she is a vegetarian, lots of pulses like black gram and rajma, fruits, paneer, tofu, dry fruits etc. She should take 6-8 dates everyday and ghur i.e jaggery after every food. One glass of lime water is also good for her. A good iron tablet or syrup alongwith multi-vitamin tab is advised for at least a month. She should improve with good diet and iron and multivitamin tablets. If she doesnot feel better after 10 days of this treatment, she should consult a physician for the same.

Hello take homeopathic treatment to weight gain. If you want to gain weight, then it is very important that you do it right. 1.Eat More Calories Than Your Body Burns 2. Eat Lots of Protein Muscle is made of protein, and without it most of those extra calories may end up as body fat. 3.If youâre trying to gain weight, aim for 0.7-1 grams of protein per pound of body weight (1.5 â 2.2 grams of protein per kilogram). You can even go above that if your calorie intake is very high. Protein foods meats, fish, eggs, many dairy products, legumes, nuts 4. Eat Lots of Carbs and Fat, and Eat at Least 3 Times Per Day. Make sure to eat at least 3 meals per day, and try to add in energy-dense snacks whenever possible. 5.Donât drink water before meals. This can fill your stomach and make it harder to get in enough calories. 6.Drink milk. Drinking whole milk to quench thirst is a simple way to get in more high-quality protein and calories. 7. To gain weight you should eat more calories than you burn. Plus not only you have to eat calorie dense food but you have to keep in mind that what you are eating is healthy too. In the process of weight gain you do not want to put weight in an uneven manner and look unhealthy rather than looking bright and healthy.  1. Start with changing your lifestyle. Start working out if you are not active. The biggest myth that prevails now a days is that thin people do not need to work out. This is wrong. When you challenge your body, it is forced to grow. But this growth can only be possible if you are eating enough food to let the body absorb and grow in size and muscles. 2. Eat Healthy – Stop drinking and smoking too much if you are indulged in it. Limit your intake of junk food, pepsi, sugary stuff etc. Do not at all starve yourself. Make it a habit to eat something healthy every 3 hours. This means you have to eat 6 small meals in a day.  Your Daily food intake should ideally consist of –  a. Have plenty of nuts, dry fuits and seeds. Almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, figs, dates and raisins. They are full of healthy fats needed by a human body. b. Good amount of fruits and vegetables – Bananas, apples, pomegranate, green leafy vegetables. Fruits and vegetables helps in absorption of food in the body and together, completes your daily nutrition need. c. If you are a non- vegetarian - Eat eggs, chicken etc. d. Eat whole grains – Try to have multi grains spread throughout the day. Wheat, brown rice, oats, bajra, daliya etc should be taken in multiple meals in a day. e. Eat Sprouts – Chana and moong which are full of protein and nutrients. f. You can supplement your diet with good quality multi-vitamin capsules. If you are lacking in protein, you can buy a high quality whey protein and have it with banana shake twice a day.  g. You can take natural food items like wheat grass which is full of essential nutrients which helps in weight gain. Try to be patient while you are on the process of weight gain. Results take time to show. Just follow this regimen and you will soon start seeing the results.

Hello, Irregular period is usually defined as any type of bleeding that's abnormal when compared to your last few menstrual cycles. It can include everything from a late period to early bleeding, and scant bleeding to extremely heaving bleeding. For many women, this can even mean an absent period (amenorrhea) or two periods in one month (metrorrhagia). It's actually a way of your body telling you something is not right and probably your hormones (especially estrogen and progesterone) are imbalanced. Although, in most cases, they are not dangerous, but it is important to figure out what is causing the irregularity (which may require a trip to the doctor). RESAONS/ CAUSES: Some common reasons for irregular periods: STRESS: Stress is the most common cause of irregular periods. Cortisol, the stress hormone, has a direct impact on how much estrogen and progesterone, two sex hormones, gets produced by the body. POOR DIET: Unhealthy eating and being overweight or underweight can cause irregular periods. In order for a woman to maintain a regular cycle, her body fat percentage needs to be at least 17-22 percent. EXCESSIVE EXERCISE: Excessive exercising (or even lack of it) and drastic weight changes can decrease the body fat, being underweight can offset your hormone levels, thus contributing to irregular periods. BIRTH CONTROL PILLS: When some women stop taking the pill, their periods may take one to three months to return to normal. And this can also reveal an underlying hormonal problem that was masked by taking the birth control pills. PCOS: Polycystic ovary syndrome causes cysts to form on the ovaries, interfering with regular ovulation. In fact, PCOS is far more complicated than a missed period. Talk to your doctor about this condition. THYROID: Thyroid disorders, including hypothyroidism or hyperthyroidism, can cause widespread symptoms like changes in estrogen and cortisol hormones and missed periods. Some home remedies you can try to treat irregular period problem: REDUCE STRESS: Breathe away stress by doing yoga and breathing exercises and meditation in the morning. Also, do kapalbhati and anulom-vilom pranayama for 15 mins each. CHASTE BERRY: The best known hormone balancing herb for women, Chaste berry helps to regulate the female gynecological system. It works by normalizing the secretions of the pituitary gland, hypothalamus, and ovaries, which then appropriately signal to balance the endocrine system. Note – This herb is not recommended if you are taking any fertility drug. It should not be consumed during pregnancy. SHATAVARI: Shatavari is also known to restore the balance of hormones in women. Mix it with equal amount of Ashwagandha and take 1 teaspoon with warm milk at night daily. OTHER HERBS: Some other herbs you can try to regain healthy menstruation: Holy basil (Tulsi), Black cohosh, licorice (Mulethi) root, turmeric, and Evening primerose oil. (If you are on medications, always consult your doctor first). DIETARY CHANGES: Drink carrot juice, aloe vera juice, grape juice. Add ginger, cinnamon, pumpkin seeds, green (unripe) papaya, sesame seeds (with Jaggery), Apple Cider Vinegar and wheat grass to your diet. Also eat other seasonal fruits and vegetables and drink plenty of water throughout the day. Most women return to healthy menstruation cycle following these remedies. However, if you don’t benefit from the above, you should see your gynaecologist immediately. Hope this helps.

Eat fibre rich diet , low carbs and adequate protein and vitamins. EAt small meals frequently. In snacks you can have upma, poha, dhokla, oat biscuits, buttermilk, curd, fruits.
