Hello... For fast growth of the body you need to take high fiber and carbs in diet... Eat all fresh pulpy fruits and green veges.. Salad is also rich i n fiber........ Whole wheat grain, whole wheat bread, oats all are good........ Avocados, banana all are good for weight gain......... Protein is also good for you.. Take protein shakes, soyabean, soya milk, full cream milk......... If you are non veg then you can eat 2 boiled eggs daily.. Chicken or mutton are also good........ You can gym also for growth of the body..... Take homoeopathic tonic:- Alfa Alfa malt ( 2 spoons twice a day half an hr before every meal )... Update me after 15 days for follow up...... How much does it matter if I have metformin before or after meal? also if i'm having it 1000 mg od or 500 mg bd?

If only metformin is taken it should be after food. If sustained release tablet is there then od may ok. If not twice a day is better. Side effects are less if taken after food.

Take protein rich food ---eggs, milk products, seeds, pulses, etc. And have vigorous physical exercise to improve absorption and blood circulation. Games like basketball, volley ball and stretch exercises like pull ups, cycling will be helpful. Homoeopathic treatment will be beneficial.

Hi doctor. This is rajendra, M29. Weight 87 kg. Height 5'8" I used to go for gym for a month , maintain proper diet for that month and I quit. Next few months I see myself gaining weight more than I was before. I reach to 80 kg weight and then I gain 6-8 kgs after I quit doing exercises. Im a bachelor. Hi It seems when you quit gymming, you tend to eat the same diet as earlier. So because of the excess food which does not get burnt, the excess calories get accumulated. Start doing gymming regularly. Do more of treadmill and cycling. Eat more fruits. Drink more water. Avoid fried stuff. Take meals regularly. Dont skip breakfast Follow a proper diet plan.

Check your HbA1c levels in an interval of 3 months, if it is in same range or decreasing then same medications to continue other wise have to change medications.

Hello! to be fit take small n frequent healthy meal (5-6 meal a day). Stay away from preserved food, ready to eat foods, deep fried food, sugar n sweet items n do exercise for at least 30 min a day. You need to take care of is good quality protein. Try to take milk n products, egg whites, fish, lean chicken, dal n products etc. With complex carbohydrate n good quality fat (almond, walnut, peanut, flex seed, chia seed etc.) stay away from preserved food, ready to eat foods, deep fried food, excess sugar n sweet items.

The best diet is one which is healthy and well balanced with foods from all the food groups, and one which is varied and that you can stick to weight loss on some diets can be dramatic in the short term, but there's more of a chance of rebound weight gain. Ashwagandha is a short woody shrub that belongs to the Solanaceae family. The powder is obtained from its roots. Take 1 glass of warm milk and add 2 tablespoons of ashwagandha powder to it. Then, mix one teaspoon of clarified butter (ghee). Stir it well and drink two times a day. Do this for one month.

Hi, if your workout is good, then I don't think it will lead to weight gain. But you can make it more protein rich by adding powdered dried fruits especially almonds,and sattu 1 spoon. Instead of milk you can add curd which will make it lighter on your stomach

Losing weight suddenly will only cause increase in wt later. You have to make effort to lose wt gradually over a period of time. This reduction will be more permanent. *Take protein rich food --- seeds, pulses, nuts, Also fruits, vegetables, greens and reduce cereals. *Green tea is also good. *Take lemon juice and honey in warm water in the early morning, empty stomach. *Avoid sweets, fried foods, processed food and junk food. A * Maintain food timings * Don’t miss breakfast. *Avoid heavy dinners and late night meals. *Avoid stimulants, aerated drinks sweetish juices, etc. And maintain good food habits. * Drink lots of water and keep hydrated. Avoid sugary soft drinks * Have adequate, timely, good night sleep *Even with desk job, you can spend morning and evening time for work out *Have vigorous physical exercise to improve absorption and blood circulation. Games like basketball, volley ball and stretch exercises like pull ups, cycling will be helpful. Obesity- Check whether you have thyroid and such ailments causing weight increase.

To have dried soyabeen dal and grined it & make powder. To have 1 glass full cream milk and mix 1 teaspoon powder in it. You can use this in milk shake also. This is very helpful to gaining weight.

Hi, according to your height your weight is low. But you want to loose weight. So I advice you, you should go for brisk walk. Do exercise. Take lukewarm water with lemon in the morning. Take salad before meals. Take sprouts and fruits in lunch to minimize quantity of bread and butter and rice consume. Drink more water. Take frequent meals instead of 3 big meals.

Hi lybrate-user, Restriction on height is 18 years for males. But "there is always an exception" don't stop trying. You can increase your height 2 -3 inches without age limit. Depending on your holistic wellness quotient. Some people are allergic or don't react good to spinach etc. However liquor is not recommended, similar to the fact that it's not advised to eat glass.
