Tips to Beat Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) :

1.Learn how to eat

The first step to controlling IBS is eating properly. And not just what you eat, but when and how. Eat little and often and at regular times.

Your digestive system will then get into a good routine and eating smaller amounts will avoid bloating and diarrhoea.

Also eat slowly. Gulping food quickly can make you swallow air, which results in wind and bloating. Chew well and drink lots of water.

2 Change your pattern

Eat your biggest meals earlier in the day and have a light evening meal. Also have foods that are harder to digest like raw fruit and vegetables before 4pm.

3 Soothe yourself

Different herbs and supplements can ease the symptoms of IBS. Calcium supplements are thought to counteract diarrhoea as it slows down gut contractions.

• Some pain, cramping, less discharge and discomfort during menstrual periods are normal, some 4-5 days irregularity is also normal. However, excessive pain, very less discharge or short interval in menses etc. are hindrances in day today working, the tolerance of pain is also depends on body and mind nature.

Hello, White discharge per vaginum could be due to fungal infection. please get a vaginal swab culture done.

After cesarean operation I do not feel any sensation on my lower stomach and abdomen since 6 month. Is this pain normal and when I will feel my sensation in that area. I have also gain a lot of weight after cesarean operation. I didn't tie any belt in that area and now my stomach looks very big so please suggest any home remedies so that I can loose weight. Yes it is very normal after caesarean section to have altered sensation/ decreased sensation along the wound area. This may persist for a year or more. With regards to your losing weight you will have to diet gradually by a combination of diet and exercise.

Hello lybrate user- irregular menses might occur due to two causes, first if you have developed anaemia (low hb count) or you have experienced sudden gain in your weight occur in pcod (poly cystic ovarian disease).
