Hi Dr. I am 26 years old and I am taking proper diet but still I am facing issue with the weakness it happens most of the time in everyday kindly suggest what kind of diet I need to take.

Dear you can easily gain weight and get a healthy muscular body by following these best things - 1. To gain weight, your digestion should work properly. If you have any disease of digestive system you should treat disease first. For proper digestion - take 10 gms powder of carom seeds (ajwain, 10 gm powder of cumin (jeera), 10 gm of rock salt. Mix them well and take 1/2 teaspoon (3-5 gm) of mixture daily after meal. Or take 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper (kali mirch), 1/ 2 tea spoon of jeera (cumin), 2-3 slice of ginger. Boil it in one glass of water for 2-3 minutes. Drink 5-10 teaspoons (15-20 ml) in morning and evening for strong digestive system. Or you can take amla powder 1 teaspoon with water for strong digestion. 2. Take a diet rich with proteins and fats. You should take high calorie food that increase your muscle mass and induce growth in bones. I am sending the diet chart. Follow it in your daily life to fastly gain weight * in morning, take a glass of milk added with 2 teaspoons of protein powder with breakfast. * in lunch time, take 1 bowl of curd or 100 gm of cheese, a bowl of vegetable, with chapattis. * in evening, take 1 glass of milk (300 ml) with 2 bananas. * in night, take a bowl of careals (daal, a bowl of salad with chapattis. 3. In morning, get up early and take awalk for 10-15 minutes and exercise light weight exercises for at least 30 minutes at home or gym. 4. For proper weight, proper sleep is very important. So you should sleep for 6-8 hours daily. 5. Avoid soft drinks, western fast food (burgers, french fries, pizza etc. They disturb your digestion. 6. You can try protein powders like endura mass, milk powder, soya protein. And creatinine for weight gain by taking 1 tea spoon added in milk once a day.

Hi in academics, alot is in your hands like how n when to study, how to score better etc but practical work scenarios are different as they require more of interpersonal skills. More flexibility is required to work efficiently and also ability to adjust accordingly. If there are past experiences that you are not able to make peace with then it must not have been resolved and hence you are still carrying the baggage. Look into the problem and see how you can solve it. If it requires you to talk to concerned people to resolve or needs to be let go, then do that. You can take help of a counsellor to figure out how to go about it and some amount of venting out will also help. With your counsellor, you will also be able to make strategies of how to approach your goal. Do not worry much, start with accepting the present moment to move ahead. And keep faith in yourself. Hi, do regular exercise. Make a habit of consuming one well ripen banana with a cup of warm milk in the morning. Eat soaked dry grapes or dates soaked in warm milk overnight. Add protein rich food in your diet. No drink before and with meals. If you are non vegetarian include eggs chicken and fish in your diet. Stop eating junk and processed food. Take small and frequent meals.

Sir, After running Hyderabad 10K in Nov 2014, my right Achilles tendon started paining very severely. There has been slight swelling too. The pain has still not subsided and there is still slight swelling.

You can take cold therapy for this,alternatively u can also immerse your feet in a bucket of ice cold water for few mins.Do some ankle stretching exercises,and use a soft heel pad in the shoes.If it doesnt get better see a physiotherapist.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. You have mentioned neck pain as only problem. Since you are very young, if you have only localized neck pain with no other associated symptoms like radiating pain in upper limbs, numbness, paresthesias etc, and no systemic symptoms like fever, loss of appetite, loss of weight etc, my advice to you for initial 2-3 weeks will be: - to maintain proper posture while working and sleeping and neck ergonomics - if pain is more then you can take a short course of an anti-inflammatory medication like tab etoshine or even tab paracetamol which suits you - intensive physical therapy initially under supervision of a trained physiotherapist and then to continue at home - adequate calcium & vitamin d intake if levels are low in body - ice packs can applied if your pain is acute, then hot fomentation can be done at home - analgesic spray for local application like dynapar qps spray can be used and is easily available. We will need to evaluate you further in form of dynamic x rays to look for any instability as a cause for pain and some blood investigations to rule out any deficiencies etc. Do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance.

A breakfast should be a good combination of protein, carbohydrates and do add some fruits. Breakfast should be a complete meal as the whole day's activity depends upon breakfast. Lunch should also contain carbohydrate and protein and vegetables and salad. Dinner should be early and the lightest meal of the day with less carbohydrates and average protein and lots of green vegetables and salad. Take small meals at small intervals and include at least 3-4 fruits a day.

Advice. Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area contrast fomentation (hot and cold).

Dear Prachi, sleepiness is a way to counter extra stress that your body is undergoing due to pregnancy. No amount of supplementation helps. Just take regular 3 hourly meals, enough water and gentle walks. Once first trimester is over, you should get your energy back

For knee joint pain.. Dont ead heavy food, fast food, junk food etc in your diet. Eat more green leafy vegetables and easily digestible food. Have at least 3 water in a day. 1. For increasing weight ...First we have to work on ur digestive system..It will do Aam pachan and will increase ur digestive power and appetite.... 2. Mix 1 teaspoon each of cinnamon, ginger and cumin powder with honey to make a paste. Take 1 teaspoon 3 times a day.. 3. Take small meals 4-5 times a day.. 4. Eat healthy n light food .. 5. I suggest you easy method of weight gain just follow it for year you will gain weigh defiantly 1. Start exercise regularly for 3 month and then after 3 month leave it for 3 month at the time of exercise your diet will increase but same diet continue after 3 month when you stop exercise so thats why your weight will increase automatically now we discus about diet 2.take dates with milk in the morning breakfast 3.triphala kadha 4 tsp beore lunch and dinner 4.amala juice 4 tsp + 2tsp sugar + 2tsp honey in the morning empty stomach this take for 1.5 month only your weight gain will take definitely note=avoid over eating. When you are trying to gain weight, you should eat food the rich in vitamins and minerals. 1. Healthy food includes meat, egg, milk, fruit vegetables, fruits, and nuts. Cashews, almonds, dates, walnuts, dry grapes, apricots, peaches are some of the dried fruits and nuts that can be added to breakfast, salads, cereal and desserts. Sesame seeds, ground nuts, and peanuts also contain fats in them and can help in adding that extra pounds you desire. 2. Sometimes loss of appetite may also cause weight loss. When you are working out, please ensure you are balancing your body with proper healthy calories. Increase the intake of healthy calories like dark chocolate, nuts, granola bar, chikkis, etc. Increase the protein intake also.
