For pimples it's important to wash your face twice daily to remove impurities, dead skin cells, and extra oil from your skin's surface, avoid touching your face or propping your cheek or chin on your hands. Not only can you spread bacteria, you can also irritate the already inflamed facial skin. Never pick or pop pimples with your fingers, as it can lead to infection and scarring. A dietary therapy for pimples can also help a lot. I am a registered dietitian and a doctor who will help you in your skin problems reply back for private consultation.

How to Manage Painful Menstrual Cramps?

Painful menstrual cramps is a condition during periods in which a woman or girl has crampy lower abdominal pain, sharp or aching pain that comes and goes, or the pains which radiates to lower back and thighs. In some women or girl the cramps are associated with nausea, loose stools, headache and dizziness. Many women or girls have painful menstrual cycles.

During menstrual cycles, the uterus tries to expel out its lining and a hormone called progesterone is responsible for the uterine muscle contraction. The more the prostaglandin level, more painful the cramps.

Sometimes the pains are moderate to severe making it hard to do normal household work, job, or school-related activities during each menstrual cycle. Painful periods or menstruation is the leading cause of absence from school and work among women in their teens and 20s.

In medical terms it is called as 'Dysmenorrhea.'

There are two categories of Dysmenorrhea.

  1. Primary Dysmenorrhea

  2. Secondary Dysmenorrhea

Primary Dysmenorrhea is menstrual pain that occurs around the time that menstrual periods first begin in healthy young women. In most cases, it is not related to a specific problem with the uterus or other pelvic organs.

Secondary Dysmenorrhea is menstrual pain that develops later in women who have had normal periods. It is often related to problems in the uterus or other pelvic organs, like

Hello,Homeopathic medicines are less invasive and have more herbal approach towards gaining the weight. There are a number of homoeopathic medicines, which treat the root cause behind the body’s inability to gain weight or bulk up. 1. Take alfalfa tonic(wsi), 2 – 2 tsp. Thrice a day, half an hour before meals. 2. Calcarea phos 200, 5 drops , once in aweek , morning empty stomach for 2 weeks. 3. Take eggs, milk, butter, bananas, potatoes, mangoes, figs, oats, soyabean and dry fruits. 4. do light exercises regularly to keep your body active. These homoeopathic medicines and dietary addition will increase your appetite and give your metabolism a healthy boost. ***If you do not get results with this treatment then please revert me i will suggest you to go through some tests.*** Thanks.

Hello, there can be many reasons behind it like mental worries, nutritional deficiency, hereditary and anaemia. *Make a habit of 8-10 glasses of water daily. *Eat healthy and balanced food like pulses, green leafy vegetables, fresh fruits and nuts etc. *Eggs as it is loaded with essential nutrients such as proteins, vitamin b12, iron, zinc and omega 6 fatty acids in large amount. *Add more vitamin rich food to your diet. *Avoid stress and anger. *Cut down the use of hair spray, hair gel. Take homoeopathic medicine Nat Mur 30 (4 drops in little water) twice a day for 15 days and revert. Apply jobarandi hair oil.

Respected Sir, You are very right in saying that stress and depression does exacerbate hair-fall, but is very rarely if ever the cause behind it. Since you are already on Minoxidil, I am sure you would have got it evaluated by a dermatologist. If not, Please do see one. As for the management of your stress and tension, I wish there was a "one size fits all" remedy which I could advise you to take. I would have to talk with you a lot more to understand the actual reason for your tensions and then only can I suggest a cure. Most people have tension before exams but each have their own reasons. I could teach you some relaxation exercises which might help. Antidepressants and anti anxiety drugs may interfere with your exam preparation by causing a bit of sedation. Hence I wouldn't recommend them if your symptoms are not severe. As for exam stress, I would just like to add a couple of tips that might help. Try to get adequate sleep. Eat well and preferable a balanced diet containing adequate fruits and vegetables. If you can find the time for it, goo for a walk or exercise for a bit. Take adequate breaks and plan your studies in such a manner that you don't feel rushed and leave yourself adequate time for revision. As I have myself taken a lot of exams, I know the last few things I mentioned are more easily said than done, but keep trying and you will beat the stress.

I'm addicted towards masturbations.
How can I forget this habit . Please tell me.
Lybrate-user masturbation at your age is not abnormal provided it is limited. Masturbation in excess can lead to grave problems like erectile dysfunction and loss of sex instinct in future. Masturbation is strictly a psychological phenomenon and self control is the only remedy for it. So try to divert your desire foom it. Meditation can help you in this regards along with homeopathic medicine. You may consult me on my private questions if you wish to start homeopathic treatment. Good day.

5 Common Sexual Problem in Men!

5 Common Sexual Problem in Men!

Sexual health is an important aspect of a man's life. Sex is an essential part of the foundation of any couple's relationship and sexual problems often have a huge impact on it. Moreover, these problems can also be symptoms of some other underlying causes.

What causes sexual problems in men?
1. Physical causes: Physical causes of sexual problems in men include heart and vascular diseases, diabetes, hormonal imbalances, chronic kidney or liver failure, neurological disorders and drug abuse. Side effects of certain medications may also affect sexual desire.
2. Psychological causes: This includes stress in daily life due to work pressure, anxiety about sexual performance, depression and even past sexual abuse experiences.

Some of the common sexual problems in men are:
1. Erectile dysfunction - It is the inability to get and maintain an erection which is firm enough for sexual intercourse. Some of the factors that lead to the condition include nerve disorders, atherosclerosis, and anxiety about sexual performance.
2. Premature ejaculationThis refers to the ejaculation that occurs before or after penetration. It often results from nervousness before a sexual performance. Anti-depressants may also affect ejaculation.
3. NightfallNightfall is a common occurrence which is characterized by involuntary ejaculation while sleeping at night. This is common in adolescents as it marks the onset of their sexual comfort when the body undergoes hormonal changes.
4. Inadequate size of penis - Penis size is a matter of concern for a lot of men. Most of them arise from myths going around in today's day and age. Most men are endowed with a size of the penis that is enough for satisfying their partners sexually while there are a few rare cases where penis enlargement treatment is required.
5. Excessive masturbation - Masturbation is a healthy way of sex outlet and is not harmful in any way. But an excess of anything is bad and it becomes a problem if the habit becomes obsessive. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a Sexologist.

Dear lybrate-user, Thank you very much for your query. Hair loss, now-a-days, is common among males and females of all age groups. Hair loss can be due to hormonal imbalance, depression, stress, thyroid disease, anemia, protein deficiency, and low vitamin levels may cause hair loss in you. The type of hair needs to be examined to understand the underlying cause. A thorough hair analysis needs to be done first which would give the clear picture of the hair type and the extent of damage. Any hair mask or shampoos or oral medications will give temporary results further enhancing the sensitivity. Oiling your hair with a mixture of oils like olive, sesame, coconut and castor oil provides moisture to your hair and prevents them from drying and breakage. Good amount of protein in your diet is a good start to a healthy hair regime. Advanced technologies like lasers and high frequency which restores the hair qualitative n quantitatively and mesotherapy for further hair strengthening n growth. The treatment is safe, non surgical and non invasive without any side effects. For detailed counseling with Doctors for the hair analysis, we would look forward to seeing you at any of our Insta-sculpts center.
