It is true that most people are aware of the fact that ‘angina’ is a term which has something or the other to do with the heart. That being said, very few would be able to answer a question regarding what exactly it is, in a satisfactory manner. So would it not make sense to know more about it and become one of the few?

The term is derived from the ancient language of Latin and refers to a tightness that is felt or a squeezing of the chest. This happens when there is not enough oxygen-rich blood which is reaching the area of the heart muscle. While many people think that angina is a disease, it is actually not true to think that it is! As a matter of fact, it is a symptom of coronary artery disease. It is this disease which is the most common disease which affects the heart.

But why exactly does a person experience angina? Well, the lack of blood which is rich in oxygen occurs when it so happens that the coronary arteries become narrower than they normally should be. This generally happens due to the build-up of plaque. The condition in which this happens is known as atherosclerosis.

When it comes to the sort of people who are at a higher risk of developing angina, it can be said that those who smoke tobacco really do increase their risk, as do those who are overweight or obese and have other lifestyle diseases such as diabetes.

In order to avoid angina, the most important thing a person can possibly control is his or her lifestyle. In fact, a lot of the risk factors related to angina are attributable to the lifestyle a person chooses to lead. Cholesterol levels can be controlled if a person puts enough attention and effort in. Also, avoiding a lifestyle that is sedentary by exercise can not only help with cutting the risk of angina but also the risks of other conditions such as high blood pressure. It is ironic that high blood pressure is one of the potential signals of angina!

  1. Stable angina is when the heart is working harder than usual and medicine helps improve this.

Every woman has a unique system, especially when it comes to matters like menstrual cycles and pregnancy. There are some women who go through normal bleeding while for others, it may be less than ideal. Also, there are women who may experience a condition known as Menorrhagia which is characterised by excessively heavy bleeding during menstrual cycles. Cramping and bleeding for longer than a week are the most common symptoms of this condition. Here are ways to treat this condition.

  1. Basis of Treatment: The main cause will dictate the basis of treatment for this condition.   5. Myomectomy: In this procedure, the doctor will surgically extract those fibroids which are causing the excessive bleeding during menstrual cycles. The procedure is conducted either through laparoscopy or incisions in the vagina and cervix, depending on the size, location and number of fibroids.
  6. Endometrial Ablation: Using this procedure, the doctor will permanently do away with the lining of the uterus, which is also known as the endometrium. This will be done by inserting an electrosurgical wire loop to remove the lining. Pregnancy is usually not recommended after this surgery.
  7. Hysterectomy: This is a surgical procedure that is recommended for very severe cases. In this procedure, the doctor will surgically remove the uterus as well as the cervix. This is a permanent procedure that will put an end to the menstrual periods altogether. The procedure will be conducted by administering anaesthesia first, and will require hospitalisation as well. The doctor may also remove the ovaries of the patient with this procedure for premature menopause.

Oral hygiene is the overall term for the state of health associated with the mouth. Periodontitis starts when microorganisms develop on the teeth. The body's immune system responds with agents to neutralize these microorganisms. The battle between the two forces significantly weakens the bones in the area and provides other problematic issues, which cause the gums to deteriorate; thus, the overall health of the teeth and mouth lessen.

As part of this decrease in overall oral health, agents are released which weaken the endothelial cells, which form the lining on the blood vessels.

Erect penis

So what does all this have to do with an impact on the erect penis? It's actually not as far-fetched as it sounds.

A study in the Journal of Sex and Medicine looked at rats with periodontitis. They found that many of these rats also had difficulty in attaining an erect penis.

Periodontitis can cause damage to the endothelial cells that line blood vessels. When these cells are damaged, the vessels are unable to open and close as they normally do. That means that when blood rushes to the penis to create and maintain an erection, not as much of it is able to get through and do its job. That's what was happening with these rats: they either weren't getting an erect penis or they weren't getting one that was as hard and firm as it needed to be.

The doctors theorized the damage to the endothelial cells was related to a lack of nitric oxide, which is one of the key components that allows blood vessels to open and be receptive to a greater flow.

Keep brushing

Therefore, men who are interested in keeping their erect penis healthy should also spend time keeping their teeth healthy. Regular brushing and flossing is key, but so is seeing the dentist on a regular basis. Often a person doesn't know they have periodontitis until it is relatively advanced, so taking steps to prevent it or to nip it early is essential.

Oral hygiene is just one step in maintaining the health an erect penis needs. शीघ्रपतन पुरुषों में होने वाली आम समस्या है। सेक्स के दौरान शुरुआती 3० सेकेंड से दो मिनट के बीच ही वीर्य निकल जाए तो इस स्थिति को शीघ्र पतन या प्रीमेच्योर इजेकुलेशन कहते हैं। शीघ्रपतन होने पर स्त्री संभोग का पूरा आनंद नहीं उठा पाती है, जिसके कारण पति-पत्नी दोनों में तनाव भी पैदा हो सकता है। इस स्थिति में पुरुषों में हीनभावना आ जाती है। 

शीघ्रपतन की समस्या आजकल ज्यादातर कम उम्र के युवकों में ज्यादा देखने को मिलती है। इस समस्या का मानसिक, शारीरिक और सामाजिक असर भी पड़ता है। इस समस्या से पीडि़त व्यक्ति संकोच की वजह से किसी से दिल की बात नहीं कह पाता और मन ही मन घुटता रहता है। वहीं बहुत से लोग आत्महत्या जैसा कदम तक उठा लेते हैं, तो कुछ लोग गलत नीम- हकीम के चक्कर में पड़ जाते हैं, जिससे उनका समय और पैसा बर्बाद होता है। शीघ्रपतन किस वजह से होता है, अभी तक इसका कोई ठोस कारण नहीं पता चल सका है। यहां कुछ कारण हैं जिनको शीघ्रपतन की वजह माना जाता है।

  1. किसी भी प्रकार का नशा न करें। नशा आपकी सेक्स पावर को घटाता है। तनाव न लें। बहुत से लोग इसी तनाव से ग्रस्त रहते हैं कि पता नहीं वे अपने साथी को खुश कर पाएंगे या नहीं। शीघ्रपतन कोई बीमारी नहीं है। खुद पर यकीन रखें।
  2. कई लोग कहते हैं कि हस्तमैथुन करने से पुरुषों में शीघ्रपतन की समस्या देखने को मिलती है। उन्हें क्लाइमेक्स तक पहुंचने की जल्दी होती है जिस वजह से यह समस्या देखने को मिलती है। हालांकि इस बात के कोई वैज्ञानिक प्रमाण नहीं हैं।
  3. डायबिटीज जैसी बीमारियों का प्रभाव नर्वस सिस्टम पर पड़ता है। तंत्रिका प्रणाली पर असर होने के चलते लिंग की नसें कमजोर हो जाती हैं जिससे ये समस्या हो सकती है। इसके अलावा ड्रग्स वगैरह लेने पर भी ये समस्या हो सकती है।
  4. मानसिक तनाव स्वास्थ्य के लिए किसी भी तरह से ठीक नहीं। इसका असर शारीरिक स्वास्थ्य के साथ सेक्स लाइफ पर भी पड़ता है। 
  5. उम्र के साथ शरीर में हार्मोंस में भी उतार-चढ़ाव देखने को मिलते हैं। सेक्स हार्मोन टेस्टोस्टेरोन की कमी से भी ये समस्या देखने को मिलती है। जंक फूड और मोटापे के चलते भी ये समस्या पैदा हो सकती है।
  6. थायरायड, लिंग की कमजोरी, हाईब्लडप्रेश र, विटामिन की कमी वगैरह भी शीघ्रपतन की वजह हो सकती हैं।

शीघ्र स्खलन के घरेलू उपचार

  1.  तनाव, थकावट और उत्तेजना शीघ्रपतन के मुख्य कारण हैं, इन्हें दूर किए बिना आपको इससे छुटकारा नहीं मिल सकता।
  2. सेक्स के लिए सही समय और सही स्थान का चुनाव करें। ऐसी जगह चुनें जहां दोनों लोग सहज होंऔर आनंद की अनुभूति हो।
  3. सेक्स करते वक्त जल्दबाजी न करें। न ही किसी तरह का भय या चिंता पालें।
  4. संभोग की प्रक्रिया के पहले पार्टनर को उत्तेजित करने मेंज्यादा समय दें। अगर इस दौरान इरेक्शन हो जाए तो परेशान न हों। महिलाओं को उत्तेजित होने में ज्यादा वक्त लगता है। इसलिए जल्दबाजी बिलकुल न करें।
  5. हरे प्याज के बीज शीघ्रपतन रोकने में काफी मदद करते हैं। हरे प्याज के बीजों को मसलकर पानी में अच्छी तरह से मिलाएं। इस पानी को दिन में तीन बार खाना खाने से पहले लें। प्याज खाने से आपकी कामुक शक्ति और नियंत्रण बढ़ता है।
  6. शीघ्र पतन के लिए अश्वगंधा प्राकृतिक औषधि है। इस औषधि को किसी आयुर्वेदिक डॉक्टर की सलाह पर ले सकते हैं। इस औषधि के प्रयोग से स्खलन की समस्या हल हो जाती है।
  7. शीघ्र पतन के घरेलू इलाज के लिए लहसुन का उपयोग भी कर सकते हैं। लहसुन गुप्तांग में रक्त संचार बढ़ाता है।
  8. अदरक के रस में शहद मिलाकर लेने से भी शीघ्रपतन रोकन में मदद मिलती है। अदरक गुप्तांग में रक्त संचार बढ़ाता है, जिससे एजैकुलेशन की क्रिया नियंत्रण में रहती है। ये मिश्रण सोने से पहले लेना ज्यादा लाभकारी होता है।

येतकनीकि भी आजमाएं
स्टॉप-स्टार्ट तकनीकि- 

सेक्स संबंध बनाने में हड़बड़ी न दिखाएं। फोर प्ले और सेक्स प्रक्रिया करने के दौरान बीच-बीच में रुकें। जब लगे कि वीर्य निकलने वाला है तो रुक जाएं। इस बीच पार्टनर को चुंबन करें और अंगों को सहलाएं। इसका अ यास करने केलिए स्खलन तक हस्तमैथुन करें, फिर रुक जाएं। दो से तीन बार ऐसा करेंफिर स्खलन करें। इससे स्खलन नियंत्रण का अ यास होगा।

स्टॉप एंड स्क्वीज या निचोड़ तकनीकि- 
सेक्स करते वक्त जब लगे कि वीर्य निकलने वाला है तो अपने पार्टनर से गुप्तांग को नीचे की ओर दबाने को कहें या खुद दबाएं। ऐसे दबाएं कि न तो वीर्य निकले और न दर्द हो। जब वीर्य निकालने की इच्छा समाप्त हो जाए तो छोड़ दें। इस प्रक्रिया को भी अभ्यास में लाएं।

किसी भी कार्य-छेत्र में सफलता हेतु सबसे ज़रूरी है अपने बॉस व सहकर्मियों पर एक अच्छा प्रभाव बनाना। हालांकि यह एक व्यक्ति के आचरण पर बहुत हद तक निर्भर करता है कि वो कैसी छवि बना पाता है, परंतु सत्य यह भी है कि शारीरिक गठन व वेशभूषा ही प्रथम आकर्षण होता है। इसी प्रभाव को बनाने के लिये आज भारी मात्रा में लोग जिम् जाना चाहते हैं और एक सुडौल शरीर बनाना चाहते हैं। पर बॉडी बनाते वक़्त सबसे ज़्यादा ज़रूरी यह नहीं होता की आज आपने कितना भार उठाया। बल्कि उसके बारे में सटीक जानकारी, किसी भी प्रकार के चोट से सुरक्षा के नियम इत्यादि का ज्ञान होना अनिवार्य है। यहाँ आपको ऐसे ही कुछ छोटे छोटे नियम बताये जा रहे हैं जो काफी काम आ सकते हैं।

 1. किसी भी शारीरिक कार्य में शामिल होने से पहले डॉक्टर की सलाह अवश्य लें।
अलग अलग लोगों की मांसपेशियाँ अलग अलग भारउत्तोलन के लिए बनी होती हैं। ऐसे में सही यही है कि डॉक्टर से जांच करा ली जाए व अपनी क्षमता के अनुरूप ही कसरत की जाए।

 2. साँसों पर नियंत्रण रखें।
इसका ये अर्थ नहीं है कि आप साँसों को रोकें। परंतु एक्सरसाइज करते वक़्त सही समय पर साँस लेना भी एक सही शरीर के निर्माण में सहायक होता है।

 3. संतुलित भोजन करें।
शरीर के विकास में सबसे बड़ा योगदान खाने का ही होता है, इसलिए ज़रूरी है कि आप एक्सरसाइज के साथ साथ अपने खानपान का भी विशेष ध्यान रखें जिससे कि वजन में अधिक वृद्धि न हो, शरीर में चर्बी न जमें व पर्याप्त शक्ति बनी रहे।

 4. पानी भी पर्याप्त मात्रा में पियें।
भोजन और पेय साथ साथ चलने वाले पदार्थ हैं। इसलिए आवश्यक है कि दिन में तीन से चार लीटर पानी अवश्य पियें, ताकि शरीर में मेटाबोलिज्म की गति भी सही रहे और शरीर पर एक तेज़ बना रहे।

 5. अपने पसंद अनुकूल ही जिम पसंद करें।
जिम के ट्रेनर व सारे साधनों के साथ साथ ये भी देखें कि आपका जिम एक अच्छे जगह पर स्थित है जहाँ का माहौल खुशनुमा है। इससे आपके शरीर को भी मेहनत करने की ऊर्जा मिलेगी और आप अपने एक्सरसाइजेज भलीभाँति कर पाएंगे।

 6. मांसपेशियों में मज़बूती लाएँ।
अधिक एक्सरसाइज कर दबाव या टान पड़ने से बचें और इतनी कसरत भी न करें कि चोट लग जाए। कम से ज़्यादा की ओर जाते हुए भार उठाने की आदत डालें और मांसपेशियों में मज़बूती लाएं।

 7. किसी संगी के साथ कसरत करने की आदत डालें।
किसी के साथ कसरत करने के अनेक फ़ायदे हो सकते हैं। पहला तो आप कभी भी अपने काम से ऊबेंगे नहीं। दूसरा, आपको एक कड़ी टक्कर मिलेगी जिससे स्वतः ही आप कसरत सही प्रकार से करने में चूकेंगे नहीं।

 8. अपने शरीर की ज़रूरतों को जानें।
आपसे बेहतर आपके शरीर को आख़िर कौन जानता है? इसलिए आप खुद ही उसकी जरूरतों को समझें। अगर लगता है कि उसे एक दिन आराम की ज़रुरत है तो अवश्य ही आराम करें। परंतु हाँ, इसे रोज़ की आदत भी न बनने दें।

 9.  अपने एक्सरसाइजेज को अपने हिसाब से तय करवाएं।
उतनी ही कसरत करें जितने में आपके शरीर को कोई नुकसान या कष्ट न हो। अपने ट्रेनर को तुरंत बताएं अगर कोई भी ऐसी परेशानी आपको किसी भी एक्सरसाइज से महसूस हो। अपने दिनचर्या में स्ट्रेचिंग को स्थान अवश्य दें। इससे मांसपेशियां खुल सी जाती हैं।

10. अधिक विश्राम के बाद अचानक काफी एक्सरसाइज न करें।एक बार लंबे विश्राम के बाद शरीर को पुनः अभ्यस्त होने में वक़्त लगता है। इसलिये, एक बार में कोई कठिन कार्य न चुनें। सरल कसरत के शुरुआत करने की चेष्टा करें।

11. योगासन को दें जगह।
सिर्फ जिम जा कर एक्सरसाइज ही न करें बल्कि योगासन को भी अपनी दिनचर्या में शामिल करें। इस से न केवल आपके स्वास्थ्य में बेहतरी होगी, बल्कि आपकी शरीर गठन में भी मदद मिलेगी।

  4. It is also advisable to avoid heavy makeup for a short period of time after the chemical peel is carried out so that the skin gets enough time to recover itself.

  3. It can be easily combined with other modalities like micro-needling and microdermabrasion.
  4. Many peels can be done as a lunch-time procedure and patient can resume work immediately.

World Hepatitis Day or WHD takes place every year on 28 July and it is designed to raise awareness about viral hepatitis and to influence real change. WHD, endorsed by the World Health Organization, unites patient organisations, governments, medical professionals, and civil society, as well as the public, to boost prevention measures for fighting viral hepatitis like vaccination.

In the simple terms, hepatitis means injury to your liver due to inflammation. There are five main types of hepatitis and the type that you are suffering from is determined by a laboratory test. All the five main types of hepatitis are caused by viruses. Out of the five, Hepatitis C and B are quite big. Globally, around 250 million people are affected by hepatitis C and 300 million people are estimated to be hepatitis B carriers.

  1. Hepatitis A & E is caused by consuming contaminated water.
  2. Hepatitis B, C and D is transmitted through infected blood to blood contact.
  3. Hepatitis C is usually spread via direct contact with the blood of an infected person.
  4. The initial symptoms of hepatitis are the same as those of flu.
  5. Hepatitis can heal on its own causing no significant liver damage; however, if it progresses, it can cause extensive liver scarring and extensive damage of your liver.

Most liver damage is caused by 3 hepatitis viruses, and these are hepatitis A, B and C. 

How do you safeguard yourself against infection from these three dangerous hepatitis viruses?

The most common cause of concer is that a lot of us who are infected with hepatitis, especially hepatitis B don’t know that we are. The biggest bulwark against hepatitis is periodic testing and vaccination. Vaccination is available for most hepatitis viruses including A and B, which tend to be extra virulent.

So, do take care and go for periodic testing. We are reiterating this because if you are infected with hepatitis B and are not treated you can develop serious problems of the liver, including liver cancer. In fact, nearly 1 in 4 people living with hepatitis B develop serious liver problems including liver cancer. Hepatitis B related liver cancer is a leading cause of fatality and getting tested for hepatitis can help you access life-saving treatments that can prevent serious liver damage.

Other ways to prevent hepatitis are
Hepatitis A

  1. Wash your hands with soap after using the toilet
  2. Only consume freshly-cooked food
  3. Only drink bottled or boiled water
  4. Only eat fruits that can be peeled. Don’t eat fruit that has been cut and kept
  5. Avoid eating raw vegetables
  6. Vaccinate yourself against hepatitis A if you travel a lot.

Hepatitis B

  1. Practice safe sex by using condoms
  2. Only use new syringes for injections
  3. Do not share toothbrushes, razors, or manicure instruments with others
  4. Vaccinate yourself against hepatitis B
  5. Take care while getting tattooed. Only use brand new tattoo needles. Also, ask for new needles during acupuncture treatments.

Hepatitis C

  1. Avoid sharing toothbrushes, razors, and manicure equipment
  2. Cover open wounds if you are infected
  3. Don’t share needles. Always ask for fresh needles.
  4. Use only well-sterilized equipment for acupuncture, piercing, and tattooing etc.
  5. Cut down on alcohol
  6. Do not share drug needles
