I am 63 yrs. Gap in left knee joint has reduced. My doctor confirmed but said initial stage and suggested regular exercise after reducing / removal of swelling. Please. Inform how to get rid of swelling by some medicine and exercise. Thanks.

There are almost 36 kinds of cheese, in india we are usually aware of paneer, and cheese slices we eat in sandwiches, but whichever cheese you eat they are rich in proteins. If you want to save yourself from alcohol effects on liver start eating: garlic grapefruit beetroot lemon green tea turmeric apple walnuts broccoli I would suggest you are young stop drinking alcohol. If you start eating 1 gram lime stone (choona) everyday your inner body parts which are damaged by alcohol will start healing.

Green tea can increase stomach acidity in people who have this tendency. It is taken between meals for its antioxidant properties and along with meals for its weight loss properties.

I'm 21 years old and i'm dieting from 3 days which include only milk in a day and at luch soup and nothing in the night. I repeated this 2 days and today is my 3rd day of dieting I drank 1 glass milk in the morning and had nothing in the lunch. So my question was can I eat a bowl of maggie in the night please reply urgently because i am very hungry.

Hye. Sorry but you are going the wrong way with the diet. You will not lose any fat this way. All you lose is muscle mass and this will come back with more weight the moment you eat normally again. Understand that weight /fat loss involves sensible eating and not crash eating. You have to eat the right foods at the right time. Eat small but frequent meals.     Reduce your main meals by 1/4th  the amount. Take a glass of lime water 10minutes before meals. Avoid long gaps in between meals. Avoid junk as far as possible. Exercise at least 4 times a week. Lastly be committed.                        Remember it's a lifestyle change and not a one time thing.     It's a balanced intake that will last you longer. All the so called diets will only give you muscle and bone loss. The fats will remain as it is. So, try to first follow this seemingly simple tips.

When you are trying to gain weight, you should eat food the rich in vitamins and minerals. 1. Healthy food includes meat, egg, milk, fruit vegetables, fruits, and nuts. Cashews, almonds, dates, walnuts, dry grapes, apricots, peaches are some of the dried fruits and nuts that can be added to breakfast, salads, cereal and desserts. Sesame seeds, ground nuts, and peanuts also contain fats in them and can help in adding that extra pounds you desire. 2. Sometimes loss of appetite may also cause weight loss. So you should take following remedies improving weight a]triphala kadha 4tsp before lunch and dinner b]amala juice 4 tsp + sugar 2 tsp+ honey 2 tsp empty stomach in the morning umami flavor increases satiety and enhances appetite. Due to improving hunger and digestion whatever you will eat more and even you eat more it will digest properly and your weight will increase naturally without any supplement.

Dear Sir/madam, I am 8 week pregnant now, we got confirmed by doctor in 6th week and prescribed cor 3 tablets daily once. After that some bleeding is observed, we rushed to doc for advice and she prescribed duphaston. Its almost a week I have been taking that medicine. Don't worry if your guyni suggest you this and she observe you regularly then their is no need to take tension. Please be possitive about your current situation and always be careful about your condition. Do some breathing exercise daily. Go for morning walk if your doctor don't suggest you for bed rest.

joint pain during viral fever is common. however if there is swelling and severe pain in the joint then you need to consult an ortho surgeon to rule out infection in the joint. also make sure your serum uric acid is normal too.

Hi... If you just eat more and don't exercise, then only stomach will grow. Make sure that you exercise regularly and make yourself fit and strong. If you can go to gym, do weight training.. else buy two dumbells and use it regularly at home to build shoulders. Don't compare your body to others. Be confident of yourself. Fitness is important, bulk is not important.

Hello, first of all you should take rest for 1-2 days so that your body can fight with underlying infection wth its full immunity and start the below medication:- take gelesemium 200, twice daily. Take eupatrium perf 200, 5 drops thrice daily. Take antifebrinum 3x, 2 tabs, thrice daily. Take alfavena malt, 1 tsf, thrice daily. Drink lots of water and take light homemade food like dalia and khichdi, avoid oily, spicy, fried, junk and cold drinks. In case of high uncontrollable fever, don't panic you should do cold sponging to lower down the temperature. If fever does not goes then go for a set of blood tests. Revert me with feedback. For higher stamina: 1. Have small frequent meals at 2-3 hrs interval instead of 3-4 large meals only. In between balanced main meals-(comprising of a whole grain, whole legume/egg/fish/chicken, low fat dairy, whole fruits, vegetables, salad); include healthy snacks in between- coconut water (w/o cream), whole fruit, roasted makhana, roasted chana (unsalted), nuts & oilseeds, soup, stew, buttermilk, salted lassi, green tea. 2. Drink 3 litres water daily to avoid dehydration. 3. Avoid junk, fried, processed, preserved, sugary foods & drinks, alcohol. 4. Replace simple carbs (sugar, jaggery, honey, maida, sago, cornflour, arrowroot flour, potato, biscuit, cake, white rice, white bread) with complex carbs (whole fruits, vegetables, salads, whole grains-atta, dalia, suji, oats, millets, barley, brown rice, atta bread, quinoa, whole legumes-sprouts, soyabean, pseudo cereals-rajgira, makhana, & nuts, oilseeds). Simple carbs cause sudden hike in blood sugar levels leading to sleepiness. 5. Avoid skipping meals 6. Have early & light dinner to feel fresh day after. 7. Sleep & wake up early. Have a sound sleep. Avoid use of mobile, laptop etc at bedtime. Complete sleep reduces stress & improves stamina 8. Brisk walk daily for 1/2 hr. Exercising releases happy hormones & make us feel active throughout the day 9. Walk/ cycle instead of taking transport, take stairs instead of lift/ escalator. 10. Cut down on total oil consumption. Too much fat & sugar slow us down.

1) eat foods rich in protein like milk and milk product, eggs, chicken, meat. 2) eat energy dense foods like nuts, dates, potato, halwa, kheer etc. 3) eat fruits high in energy like banana, chickoo, sitaphal, mango, grapes. 4) eat two servings of pulses in a day esp. Soybean and urad dal. 5) have proper rest.
