Follow methods by which you can gain your desired height. 1. Follow these exercises regularly and you get the goal of height gain: * first stand straight bare foot on floor, then raise your arms upwards then raise your heels of foot with breathing in, try to stand on heels for 10-12 seconds and slowlylower down your heels back on the floor and breath outthe air. Repeat this exercise 5-8 times in morning. *sit on the floor, stretch you legs together so that both foot touch each other. Now raise your arms upwards together with back straight, now move your hands towardstoes of feet and touch them. Your forehead touching your knees. Slowly revert back the arms and move back arms in normal position. Repeat this exercise 2-4 times daily. You can privately consult me for understanding more exercises. 2. Take 300 ml of rich cream milk, 200 gm of cheese and 2-3 eggs regularly. It will definitely give boost to your bone growth. 3. Sit in sun rays for atleast 8-10 minutes in morning of evenings when the sun rays are not so strong. It will help you by getting adequate quantity of vitamin-d. 4. The growth and height iscontrolled by growth hormone whichis secreted by pituitary gland situated in the brain. So take meditation and have a stressfree lifestyle. Take 6-8 hours of sleep daily. Meditation makes your pituitatry gland healthy and working properly. 5. Take 1/2 teaspoon of ashwagandha powder with milk once a day.

Follow these simple steps to ensure a good sleep every night and stay away from sleep disorders and other health problems associated with unhealthy sleep habits: 1) maintain a regular sleep routine go to bed at the same time. Wake up at the same time. Ideally, your schedule will remain the same (+/- 20 minutes) every night of the week. A good sleep hygiene routine promotes healthy sleep and daytime alertness. 2) avoid sleeping during the daytime. It can disturb the normal pattern. 3) avoid caffeine, nicotine, and alcohol near bedtime. While alcohol may speed the onset of sleep, it creates problems in he second half of sleep. 4) exercise can promote good sleep. Exercise should be taken in the morning or late afternoon. Yoga, can be done before bed to help. 5) have a quiet, comfortable bedroom. Set your bedroom thermostat at a comfortable temperature. Generally, a little cooler is better than a little warmer. Turn off the tv and other extraneous noise that may disrupt sleep. Background'white noise' like a fan is ok. If your pets awaken you, keep them outside the bedroom. Your bedroom should be dark. Turn off bright lights. Have a comfortable mattress. 6) avoid heavy meals close to bedtime. 7) ensure adequate exposure to natural light. 8) avoid emotionally upsetting conversations and activities before trying to go to sleep. Do not think of, or bring your problems to bed. 9) stop using all your digital devices and stop looking at digital screens be it mobile phones or televisions at least 1 hour before the time you plan to sleep. Instead try reading a fiction book near bedtime so it makes you help relaxed and de-stressed. Sleep well live healthy and live longer.

Dear lybrate-user During humid months, people having oily skin will see sebum and scales in the nail on scratching. That is normal and cannot be cleared as sebum is the anti-germ substance produced to protect the skin. Ketoconazole containing shampoos are helpful for short periods (used twice weekly). However overusing shampoos will dry up your skin. So maintain a healthy balance of daily bathing with water and using shampoo (medicated or otherwise) twice a week.

Dear Bablu, I think you should get X ray Done for your back. Should get started with back and abdominal strengthening exercises which is very important for you. Can go for hot water fomentation. Do write to me if needed any further help.

All About Tinea Corporis

When skin is infected by a fungus, the resultant infection is called tinea corporis (ringworm). It is most common in athletes and children. The infection may appear on the scalp, beards, groin, in between the toes and other places.

Causes:

Tinea corporis can be caused by:

  1. Skin contact
  2. It is contagious, so if you use towels, bed linens and clothes of an infected person, you will get infected too.
  3. Touching a pet infected by tinea corporis.

Signs and Symptoms:

  1. The rash starts as a scant area of red, bumpy pimples and spots. Then the rash forms a ring, with raised, red borders and a clear middle. The border might look scaly.
  2. The rash may show up on face, legs, arms or other body areas which are exposed.
  3. The area feels itchy. It might also be flaky and dry. You might even experience hair loss in the infected area.

Diagnosis:

The skin in the area will be gently scraped off and the sample will be collected. Then, the sample will be viewed under a microscope. That will help discerning, which type of fungus is causing the infection.

Treatment:

The following treatment regime must be followed:

  1. The skin must be kept dry and clean.
  2. Fungal creams are best. Creams that contain miconazole, ketoconazole, clotrimazole or oxiconazole are excellent for fungal infections.
  3. Only apply the cream on clean skin. You can use it twice in a day. Bandaging the infected area is not recommended.
  4. To prevent the infection from spreading, wash your towels in warm water and use clean towels every time you bathe. Also, clean the bathroom and wear freshly washed clothes.
  5. If pets are infected, treat them as well.

The infection usually goes away under 4 weeks. The infection may branch out to the nails, groin, scalp and feet. Self-care is effective, but if symptoms persist, then do consult a specialist. Ringworms have certain complications, such as scratching the skin too much causes skin infections and other skin disorders, which may need further treatment.

It could be due to improper posture while sitting causing neck strain. Maintain correct posture while sitting. If you have problem during neck movement Get yourself examined by doctor to find out the reason. Take paracetamol fo pain,give hot fomentation and apply volini gel

Ingredients: aloe vera plant, shampoo take the piece of aloe vera plant and put it in boiling water. Make sure to moniter it closely. You don't want to leave it there too long. About 2-3 min will do. Cut the aloe vera plant and get the gel part out. Put it in a blender and blend until its liquid. It will get foamy, but don't worry about that. Take a bottle of your favorite shampoo, I try to keep it simple though. Divide the shampoo into two bottles. Divide the aloe vera into the two bottles so each bottle has half shampoo and half aloe vera gel. Shake well and use every day. It is an amazing product. I was going crazy because I lost so much hair, but this helped me. I hope you all have the same results! note: some of you are going to ask if you can use bottled aloe vera gel, and although I have tried it a couple of times it really does not compare to the real thing. I strongly advise that if you are going to use bottled aloe vera gel please please buy the 100% natural one. It needs to be clear. Not green or any other color. Buy the most natural one you can find.

Hello mithalal, hope they are under regular medication as doctor prescribed. But adding on, if you they have a healthy diet plan, would add up to health. Father diabetics 1. Do regular exercise for 30 mins 2. Avoid high carbohydrate food and go with more protien sourced food like soya wheat 3. If father is a non-veg, boil mutton (don't cook) in a purified water with salt and pepper and drink juice. And can eat that mutto. 4. After protein, vitamins and minerals. Every day 13vitamins and 11 minerals required. Go add more color to your diet. With all kinds of fruis and vegetables. 5. Fish oil or omega-3 added advantage 6. Fiber - after lunch fiber has to be intake. It helps to reduce post lunch diabetes. For mother bp and thyroid. 1. Fiber 2. Vitamins and minerals. Every day 13vitamins and 11 minerals required. Go add more color to your diet. With all kinds of fruis and vegetables. 3. Fish oil or omega-3 added advantage 4. B-complex give me a private message, may cost you 100/- rs. Psoriasis is genetic disorder triggered due to stressful conditions and irregular life style. Psoriasis is a manageable disease, generally patient use steroidal application on patches which give temporary relief and disease reappear after 2/3 days. In severe cases methotrexate is used which is not a safer option and is liver toxic. Ayurvedic external application give very quick results with sun exposure in clearing the scales and internal treatment does not allow the disease to re appear. You should use 3 gms of haldi with milk helps in psoriasis patients. Red meat, alcohol n stress should be avoided in psoriasis.

Hi apply pranacharya face glow on your face for 15 minutes then wash it with warm water. Take pranacharya b clean syrup 2-2 tsf twice a day. Take pranacharya allergin capsule 1-1 twice a day. rashes are due to allergy.it can b due to a local or systemic infection.u need to get blood and urine examined.u need to get a physical examination done.Unless the problem is elaborated upon and it can b examined ,nothing can b done for it.if it's an allergy,u vil need antiinflammatories.if an infection,antifungals or antibiotics or antihelminths.

Hello, to be fit you need to take enough, protein, vitamins minerals, fiber, and good fatty acids in your diet, so eat all type of food, from where you get these nutrition. Do some physical activities every day for 1 hour. Drink more water in a day. Have a adequate rest to get better health, especially if we are working in a ac environment, we have better chances to expose to all new kind of diseases, like vitamin-d devifiency, diabetes, cholesterol. 1. Eat well – Take a balanced Diet comprising of 45% carbohydrate, 30% protein and 25% fat, plenty of green leafy vegetables, fruits. Don’t over eat. Avoid junk, spicy, oily, high calorie, cholesterol rich diet don’t skip your breakfast. Take warm, homemade food. Avoid food and drink from outside. Don’t skip or postpone your meal. Minimize consumption of refined grains like white rice, white bread, sugary or refined food. 2. Keep hydrated- Drink 2 liters /8-10 glasses of water daily 3. Do regular exercise for one hour daily like brisk walking/Jugging etc 4. Take adequate rest- 7-8 hours of sound sleep in the night is required to remain healthy 5. Avoid stress, anxiety, depression, agitation etc 6. Find time for relaxation and enjoyments with friends and family 7. Practice yoga, meditation and deep breathing exercise to calm your mind, control emotion, improve concentration and relieve stress 8. Avoid smoking, consumptionof tobacco and Alcohol
