Dear lybrate user, Anxiety disorders are a category of mental disorders characterized by feelings of anxiety and fear, where anxiety is a worry about future events and fear is a reaction to current events. These feelings may cause physical symptoms, such as a racing heart and shakiness. There are a number of anxiety disorders: including generalized anxiety disorder, a specific phobia, social anxiety disorder, separation anxiety disorder, agoraphobia, and panic disorder among others. While each has its own characteristics and symptoms, they all include symptoms of anxiety. I need to know more about your anxiety so that I will be able to diagnose it properly and provide you tips to overcome and manage your anxiety. Take care.

You need to determine the underlying causes for anxiety and develop awareness and skills to become more confident, less fearful and find your strengths which will help you to deal with problems more efficiently. You can go to a counselling psychologist in your city for this. I am from Bangalore and offer Skype sessions besides face to face interaction.

Please suggest me something for hair gain and please tip me so that I could lose nearly 25 KG weight in 2 months.

Diploma in Aesthetic Medicine, MBBS
Cosmetic Physician, Delhi
Hi lybrate-user, hair fall/loss can be due to variety of causes. However, many of them can be controlled and dealt with. Most common cause is nutrient deficiency which can be rectified my oral medications and supplements. There are medicines available for local application which are also known to give significant results. Treatments like mesotherapy, microneedilling and prp show significant long term effects. Coming to weight loss, loosing 2-3 kg in a month is considered a healthy weight loss. There are two pillars for weight loss. Diet and exercise. Thought right diet can control further weight gain and assure overall health, exercise is must for weight reduction. 30 mins walk (to start with), with well balanced diet (depending on you heath condition) can lead to gradual and healthy weight loss. I would be happy to help you.

A bowl of granola can make your breakfast delicious. It provides 500 calories, since it has enough nuts, oats, sugar and healthy fats which are sufficient for increasing body weight. To make it tastier, add some fruits, thick yogurt and drizzle it with honey.

I have my last menses on 29-05-15 I did not get date till now. I have a 2 years boy and we dont wont to commit a one more child now what shall we do please suggest us thankyou.

MD - Homeopathy
Homeopath, Pune
Hello, your last date is 29-5-15 is it right? it's just 12 days from now, why are you worried? or date you posted is wrong? you mean to say 29-4-15? if that is the case confirm pregnancy by urine pregnancy kit in pharmacy, depending on that result further decisions can be take. Or directly go to lab and give sample for pregnancy test. Revert back with the results. If it is positive then consult gynecologist who will guide you for methods of termination of pregnancy, if it is negative then check if you have proper diet and heavy exercise, wait for another 7 days and even after that periods won't come re-do urine pregnancy test, if still negative then consult gyanecologist for further evaluation like sonography, hormonal studies etc. But first thing please confirm your last date of periods. Thanks.

hello. Doctor please seriously tell me how I can increase my height up to 6 feet even in 22 year.

Vaidya Visharad
Ayurveda, Narnaul
Touch your toes:-this is the most basic stretch to increase the flexibility of the bones and muscles, thus increase the height. Sit on the floor, keeping your back straight. Then extend your legs to the front, keeping your feet close to each other. From the waist, bend and stretch your hands out to touch the toes of your feet. Do not hunch.

I have a problem with hair fall and loss of my hair. Last 2 years. I am very much disturb fir this please help me. How can I back my hair again.

MBBS, Diploma In Dermatology And Venerology And Leprosy (DDVL)

Hair hair fall could b significant or just physiological without any systemic involvement. Firstly, don't stress over it. Meditate. Practice yoga. Relax yourself. Stress vil increase your hairfall. Drink two litres of water. Eat plenty of pulses, meat, fish and milk. Avoid hair cosmetics. Wash hair twice or thrice a week. Shampoo should be done to wash dirt, dust and grime and not for anything else. Don't use dyes, bleaches or straighteners. Massage scalp to improve circulation. After a bath, don't blow dry your hair instead naturally dry hair. If any scalp infection, get it treated. Any allergy should be taken care of. 1. Tab biotin daily for 1 month 2. Tab fe (if your fe level is reeduce) 3. Scalp massage with antioxidant oil 4. Regain lotion bd for long time.
