My hairs are turning gray I've to colour them every time. I once shaved my head and the sight was terrible. There were pinkish bulge all over my head same place where if I rub I get dandruff. Now I'm not sure if it's that or just dry skin but it doesn't look good. What are those pink bulges and why does it secretes sticky oil. Is it my food habits, routine, water? Can someone please help me.

The Pinkish bulges may occur as a result of shaving your head. As the skin of the scalp is not accustomed to shaving, it is soft and may get damaged easily due to harsh treatment with a blade. You can apply Aloe Vera on your scalp for soothing the skin and massage your scalp with almond oil before going to bed. Allow your skin to heal itself. However, if the problem persists please consult your general physician.

You can take(If No drug allergy) : 1. Tablet Crocin (Paracetamol 500 mg) one tablet after food when required for headache after food for 2-3 days (maximum 2 tablets with gap of 12 hour can be taken in a day) I am giving you some tips for sound sleep and early awaking in morning follow advises given below: 1. Strict to sleep time schedule 2. Do regular physical activity 3. Regular meditation/ yoga, i can give you address of rajyoga meditation center near your house (this is free of cost) One thing i want to tell you that if you can relax your mind by Rajyoga meditation than you can reduce your sleep upto 5-6 hour and you will feel fresh and active 4. Avoid tea coffee after 7 pm 5. You can wash your face and feet at bedtime 6. Avoid daytime sleep 7. You can use alarm and gradually reduce your waking time by 15 minutes Consult me if symptom persist

Mr. lybrate-user, Long standing diabetes invariably causes ED. Particularly if there's persistent hyperglycemia. Therefore, primary need is strict glycemic control, with FBS around 100 mg, PP150 to 160 mg & HbA1c < 6.8℅ . However, damage caused is hardly repaired. Apart from achieving strict control, you may have to use certain drugs like PDE - Inhibitors for temporary relief. Thanks.

Please avoid using any dye. It will ruin your skin. Ithink there is history of premature grey hair in your family. To begin with you could start with foll medicine. Name of medicine- morgan pure 10m 3 pills 3times dailyx1month. Secondly avoid using any shampoo. You could use patanjali shampoo and aloe vera soap.

I am a 47 year old male, non-diabetic, non-hypertensive with generally good health. I am on anti-depressant therapy for pd and anxiety for the past 12-14 years. I have this feeling of skipped heart beats now and then since 2009 and have got myself examined by 2-3 cardiologists. All tests like echo, tmt are fine with no abnormalities. Is there any remedy for the same? I have slightly raised cholesterol and triglycerides.

High triglycerides and cholesterol can cause atherosclerotic heart disease or narrowed coronary arteries in the heart can cause the symptoms of angina, when theheart muscle is not provided with enough oxygen to function. Decreased blood supply to the brain may be due to narrowed small arteries in the brain or because the larger carotidarteries in the neck may become blocked. This can result in a transient ischmic attack or stroke. Peripheral artery disease describes gradual narrowing of the arteries that supply the legs. During exercise , if the legs do not get enough blood supply, they can develop pain , called claudication . Other arteries in the body may also be affected by plaque buildup causing them to narrow, including the mesenteric arteries to the intestine and the renal arteries to the kidney. Change life style .do meditation,yoga, Go walk daily, do any one physically activity daily i.e.play any game., Avoid fast foods,oily foods,junk foods,alcohol,smoking,fatty foods, non-veg.,avoid stress,take plenty of water in day time. And 1 glass of water before bed at night. use flax oil, omega-3 fatty meal or cap., take .green veg., whole grain. Garlic,. Cod liver oil. Take anti cholesterol medicines . Cap. Ecosprin gold-10 at night daily.

Take pranacharya jukamonil syrup 1-1 tsf twice a day with warm water. And laxmi vilas ras 1-1 tab twice a day. Take pranacharya allergin capsule 1-1 twice a day. 1-1 drop of cow ghee in both nostrils at night time before sleep. Avoid milk. Cold drinks. Take hot water steam.

I suddenly and completely quit smoking 7 days ago. I ve been smoking for 4 years not regularly. I'm in a strong will that I ll never smoke anymore. Try tablet Allegra 120 once daily. Drink at least 3 LTS water v everyday Use a moisturiser on your body after bath daily. You will have to rule out allergy to any thing you apply on your body or something that you eat

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. Glimepiride stimulates betacells to secrete insuli. Metformin is supposed to reduce insulin resistance and slow down glucose absorption from the intestine. Plus it also has many more beneficial functions. Usually both these are used togeter to control increased blood glucose. In newly diagnosed patients metformin alone is used. In some both drugs are used together. Which drug to take for a particular level can be decided by the treating doctor. Thanks.

Apply hot fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang asana -- lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core strengthening exercises- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.

Dear infection of sinus is called sinusitis, this happens due to lack of hydration, repeated infection of nose this is again due to lack of hydration and dryness of nose so keep yourself hydrated in this dry weather, take good amount of semi solids like shakes lemon juices, sugarcane juice, and lassie curds any of milk products like cold coffee, hot coffee, this will definitely benefit you. If you do not get the solution than go ct scan done for nose.

Hi incorporate more fruits, vegetables, and whole grains into your diet while eliminating unhealthy foods. - if you are working or studying away from home, try to pack healthy lunch and snacks for yourself to avoid eating unhealthy food daily. - don't eat straight from the packet - use a plate or bowl to control how much you eat. - don't delay or skip meals. - cut down your consumption of aerated drinks and sodas. - drink at least 8 glasses of water every day. Drink water after waking up and before sleeping. Being dehydrated may make you feel like you're hungry, so it is important to stay hydrated. - have homemade fruit and vegetable juices - eat 5-6 small healthy meals every 2-3 hours, every day, instead of having a few big ones. This regulates your blood sugar level and your metabolism. - don't skip breakfast, instead, make it rich with complex carbohydrates and proteins, so it can provide you with energy to get through the day. Try to include the following as your morning breakfast, oats porridge, eggs on multigrain toast or daliya with sprouts. - avoid artificial sweeteners in processed foods. - eat slowly as it takes about 20 minutes for your brain to register if you're full or not. Eating too fast leads to overeating, so chew slowly to digest your food better and control how much you eat. - use a smaller plate to control your portion sizes and avoid overeating. - know your cravings and do not snack when you're emotional. It is said that you crave crunchy and savory food when you're stressed, frustrated or lonely. Figure out what you crave and replace them with healthier alternatives. - do not eat mindlessly; concentrate on your food instead of watching tv or playing with your phone to avoid overeating.

Follow these instructions to prevent yourself from summer heat- * take two teaspoons of sugar and a pinch of salt add it in one glass of water, drink it before going out in summer. * cover your head with hat or cotton dupatta before going out. * drink atleast 8 to 10 glass of water daily make your body hydrated with intake of plenty of fluids. * avoid to drink excessive coffee and alcohol. * avoid to go outside in afternoon or in peak hours of sunlight.
