Hello There. Most of all powder are enriched with protein which is essential for body building. The first thing to remember is that eating protein alone will not increase muscle. To build muscle you have to use it. The slight damage done to the muscle during weight lifting and other resistance activities and then healing is how the muscle grows larger, so if you are simply consuming protein powders in order to gain muscle but still sitting at home on the sofa, this isn’t going to happen. Muscle growth requires adequate supplies of protein, however, for the majority of people this is easily obtained from food sources and there is no need to supplement with powders. Instead of protein powder start protein rich food like milk, egg, soya etc. Let me know if you need more information.

Hello Sir. The timing for your green tea depends on the purpose for which you are taking it. If you want to use green tea to lose weight, you can take it along with your meals. Hello Sir. Rupture in knee ligament takes more time to heal. Take a bandage, poor warm Murivenna oil over it and keep that pad over your knee joint for 2 hrs. It will help you to heal it faster than usual.

Mr. lybrate-user your son is probably suffering from skin infection of the skulp. In my opinion it would be better to administer HOMOEOPATHIC medicines. He is only of 20 months it would be better to cure permanently rather to be suppressed repeatedly through external applications. Use Aloe Vera conditioner shampoo of SBL company. And Sulphur 30 to be given early morning for 2 days :consecutive morning. Please stop any other medication. Come for homeopathy consultation as per the schedule after seven days.

Night fall is very common problem in younger age. Semen production occur 24 hourly & it has limited capacity for storage. If you do not do ejaculate then nightfall is only way to come out of stored semen as its production is continuous process. 1-2 week frequency is normal. It is natural process. Same tips for controlling 1. Meditation and relaxation techniques. 2 avoid porn literature and videos 3 avoid alchol, smoking etc 4 avoid non veg. Shoulder PAIN 1.Hot Fermentation over the painful shoulder for 10-15 min. Hello, your weight will play the vital role in this connection, please. If you are. Obeased should avoid direct sweets. Moreover, excessive consumption of sweet may cause diabetes for want of physical exercise. Your teeth might be dammaged taking chocolates and other type of sweets. Cartilage Damage - Causes and Treatment

Have you undergone cartilage damage recently and are seeking ideal treatment measures? Cartilage damage is a common form of injury that involves your knees. Other joints such as the ankles, elbows and hips may also be affected by cartilage damage. Cartilage, the tough and flexible tissues covering the surface of your joints, acts as a shock absorber, allowing the bones to slide over each other. Cartilage damage may occur because of injuries such as a gradual wear, sports injuries and osteoarthritis. While acute cartilage damage may heal on its own, severe damage may need treatment via surgical measures.

Treatment

Physiotherapy

  • Physiotherapy is effective when you experience difficulty in moving your affected joint.
  • It is also an important part of recovery if you have to undergo surgical procedures for treating cartilage damage.
  • A physiotherapist will teach you certain exercises that are effective for strengthening the muscles that surround and support your affected joint.
  • This helps in reducing pain and pressure on the joint.

Surgery

  • Severe and serious cartilage damage does not heal effectively on its own, and a surgery may be required for treatment.
  • Usually, surgery is performed by using Arthroscopy. This is a form of keyhole surgery in which certain instruments are inserted into your affected joint via incisions or small cuts.
  • In some cases, larger incisions have to be made.
  • Such surgeries are carried out after giving general anesthesia to the patient.

The most common surgeries that are undertaken in cases of cartilage damage include the following:

Lavage and debridement

  • In this form of surgery, your joint is cleaned for the removal of any loose tissues.
  • The damaged edges are trimmed to be made smooth. Sometimes, the damage may also be repaired during the same time.

Marrow stimulation

  • In this procedure, tiny holes are made on the bone beneath your damaged cartilage that releases the bone marrow in it.
  • The marrow cells stimulate the production of new cartilage.

Mosaicplasty

  • In this procedure, small plugs of healthy cartilage from areas of a joint that are non-weight bearing are removed and used for replacing areas of the affected cartilage.

Osteotomy

  • This procedure involves the alteration of the alignment of your leg for reducing pressure on the damaged area.
  • It is effective in improving pain.
  • A wedge of bone may be removed or added from your thigh bone or shin bone.
  • The bone gets fixed with a plate till it gets healed.

In some cases, a joint replacement surgery has to be carried out. In this procedure, the entire affected joint is removed and replaced with an artificial joint. Hip replacement and knee replacement are common examples of this kind of surgery.

Hello Lybrate user a balanced diet is a combination of five major food groups consisting of vitamins and minerals, protein, carbohydrates, and fat all these components help to maintain your body perfect. Take Vitamins and Minerals such as dark green leafy veggies should be included in your meal. Adding a variety of veggies like broccoli, spinach, beans, lettuce, etc, Include protein in your diet. Sending you general diet plan for whole day Breakfast – Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Fill up your breakfast meal with protein like 2-3 scrambled egg whites with a whole grain toast and a fruit of your choice or a bowl of fruit oats porridge with sprouts salad. Protein kickstarts your metabolism and keeps you feeling fuller for longer during the day. Mid-morning Snack – A fistful of dried fruit combined with nuts or seeds, provides protein and healthy fats to keep you satisfied till lunch. Combining the dried fruits with nuts helps in controlling the release of sugars in the body. Lunch – Choose carb-rich foods that will supply energy and protein like a bowl of dal/chicken/fish curry with brown rice or roti and a veg salad. You could also include beans or chicken sandwich with plenty of veggies. Snack– Having a snack will keep your energy levels up and you can choose from a variety of nourishing options like Apple cinnamon granola bar or Nature Valley’s granola bar or you can have a fistful of nuts.
