How Long Do You Need Physiotherapy Post-Fractures?

A broken bone or a fracture can be painful and it requires medical attention for the fracture to heal properly. Proper healing is necessary for the right alignment of the bone. A doctor chooses to either reduce or set the bone in terms of new alignment. The bone reduction can happen manually or surgically depending on the severity of the injury. A Surgical procedure known as the open reduction internal fixation is performed for serious fractures. It ensures that the all the broken pieces are fixed together and the injury can heal properly.

Post the fracture, the bone need to be immobilised for proper healing. This is generally achieved by imposing a cast. For fractures that are not severe in nature, a doctor might choose to impose a temporary cast so that simple motion can happen around the site of the injury. For serious fractures, a permanent cast is placed around the injury site. In the case of a shoulder injury, a patient is required to wear a sling so that the bones are immobilised.

Time Duration of a Therapy Session:

While the exact duration of physiotherapy can vary from individual to individual, it takes a minimum of 2-8 weeks for the fracture to completely heal. Certain fractures take more time to heal. The rate of healing also depends on the severity of the injury, pain threshold level of the patient, extent of work with the physiotherapist, the robustness of the physiotherapy program, extent of the injury of the soft tissue and certain other factors. Typically shoulder and neck injuries heal quicker than a fracture of the legs. The time duration of fracture healing also depends on the type of bone that has been affected.

Physiotherapy in a Hospital:

If the fracture happens in the ankle or leg, a physiotherapist might have to intervene in the hospital in order to teach patient about using assistive devices such as crutches and cane. Things that are taught during this time include using the device in order to climb stairs, right walking posture, getting into a car, taking the device off while sitting and such other techniques.

Physiotherapy at Home:

Physiotherapy can also happen from home if the doctor specifically instructs to do the same. This is typically done for people where the condition is too serious to go outside and get the physiotherapy done. Certain weight bearing restrictions are imposed around this time. The training remains the same as in the case with a hospital.

In the Clinic:

Once the patient becomes mobile enough, a doctor might suggest a patient go to a clinic to get the physiotherapy done. A physiotherapist evaluates certain things such as pain, range of motion, gait, flexibility etc. of the patient before suggesting a certain exercise plan.

Celery is not only an effective treatment for rheumatoid arthritis and associated pains in the knees, but it is also helpful in treating gout. It is usually agreed upon that this particular treatment is usually long lasting because of its alkaline nature.
  6. Dandelion: Dandelion's biological name is Taraxacum Officinale. It is rich in magnesium and is crucial for the correct mineralization of the bones. This mineralization allows the bones to become stronger and also prevents knee pain.
  7. Garlic: The medical name for garlic is allium sativum. Five to six cloves eaten everyday has proved to reduce knee pains.

The only protection that can work against Dengue infection is prevention of mosquito bites. Another interesting thing to be kept in mind is that the mosquito responsible for Dengue Virus transmission has a day biting habit. So use mosquito repellents, wear full sleeve clothes etc. Unfortunately there is no vaccine for Dengue infection prevention so far although researches are going on.

There are no specific timings. Better to go for a routine check up and let the doctor advise you. Some times it is better to take a few more readings for some days to confirm if the BP is really high. Certain tests can also be advised to help diagnose the problem.

Use Himalaya Neem tab 1 tab trice a day along with safi syrup 15 ml twice a day for one month. Wash your face twice a day with Neem face wash or Azac soap and apply Clarina ointment on the pimples and pimples marks. Avoid eating oily and spicy food. If possible eat one citrus fruit like orange or sweet lime per day! follow this regime and you shall have a glowing face without any marks and pimples.

It will take its own time to heal .naturally takes 5 to 7 days .max 10 .till then avoid spicy food .hot food. Have more amount of water. Prevent it from getting rubbed or touching by brush again till it heals. U can try Dr. Reddy mouth ulcer liquid gel. But it will go on it's own. Or you can try orasore gel, apply 3 Times before meal, cap. Tetracycline 100 mg. Break this capsule and put half of its yellow ingredient of it in a glass of water and swish around the mouth for 10 sec. Thanks.

दोस्तों आज के दौर में बीमारियों को तो जैसे बस बहाने की तलाश होती है कि बस हमसे कोई चूक हो और वो हमें अपनी चपेट मे लें। अब ऐसे ही मामलों आज के समय में अक्सर फ़ूड पॉइजन हो जाता है। जब भी हम बाहर का कुछ खा लेते हैं या फिर हम बाहर के खाने में अधिक दिलचस्पी लेते हैं, तो अक्सर हमारा डाइजेशन खराब हो जाता है। हम अक्सर जल्दी- जल्दी में जो भी मिलता है उसे खा लेते हैं, नतीजन हम कई तरह की बीमारियों सहित फूड पॉइजनिंग जैसी बीमारी हो जाती है। 
फ़ूड पॉइजनिंग की सबसे अहम वजह है साफ सफाई में कमी। जब भी हम कुछ खाते हैं, अगर वो अस्वच्छ स्थान पर हो या फिर वहां गंदगी हो, तो ऐसे में नुकसानदायक बैक्टीरिया हमारे शरीर के अंदर चले जाते हैं और यह बैक्टीरिया हमारे शरीर में इन्फेक्शन फैलाते हैं, जिसकी वजह से हमारी तबियत खराब ही जाती है जो कई बार फ़ूड पॉइजन होता है।

फूड पॉइजनिंग को दूर करने के घरेलू उपाय

1. अदरक
अदरक से हमारे व्यंजन तो स्वादिष्ट होते हैं, साथ ही यह पाचन संबंधी समस्याओं के लिए भी एक घरेलू उपाय है। एक चम्मच शहद में अदरक के रस की कुछ बूंदे मिलाकर लेने से पेट का दर्द ठीक हो जाता है।

2. जीरा
फूड पॉइजनिंग होने पर जीरा बहुत ही फायदेमंद होता है। एक चम्मच भुने जीरे को पीसकर अपने सूप में मिलाकर लेने से पेट की सूजन और दर्द कम हो जाती है।

3. एप्पल साइडर सिरका
अपने क्षारीय गुण के कारण सिरका, विशेष रूप से एप्पल साइडर सिरका गैस्ट्रो आंत्र अस्तर में आराम देने वाला होता है। यह पेट में बैक्टीरिया पनपने से रोकता है। इससे फूड पॉयजनिंग के प्रभाव को तेजी से कम किया जा सकता है।

4. तुलसी
तुलसी इन्फेक्शन के ट्रीटमेंट के लिए बहुत ही शानदार उपाय होता है। फूड पॉइजनिंग होने पर तुलसी के पत्तों के रस में एक चम्मच शहद मिलाकर खाने से आप को बहुत ही लाभ मिलाता है।

5. फल खाएं
केले में पोटैशियम की अधिक मात्रा होती है, इसलिए जब भी हमें फूड पॉइजनिंग हो तो खूब केला खाना चाहिए। केले में ऑक्सीडेंट मौजूद होता है, जो लिवर में ठंडक बनाये रखने में मददगार होता है। इसके अलावा सेब में भी यही खूबी होती है। यदि आपको फ़ूड पॉइजनिंग हो गया है तो सेब और केले को अच्छी तरह मैश कर ले, फिर इस मिश्रण को दिन में तीन से चार बार लेने से आराम मिलता है। 

6. नींबू सरबत
एक गिलास पानी में नींबू का रस, नमक, और चीनी मिलाकर एक घोल तैयार करो, फिर उस घोल को पी लें, इसे एक से दो घंटे के बीच लेते रहें।

7. पुदीना चाय
पुदीना चाय सिर्फ अरोमाथेरेपी नहीं है बल्कि पेपरमिंट तेल अपने सुखदायक प्रभाव के लिए भी जाना जाता है। फूड पॉयजनिंग से पेट की ऐंठन से पीड़‍ित लोगों के लिए बेहद फायदेमंद होता है। अपनी चाय में इसकी कुछ बूंदे जोड़कर देखें, कैसे आपके पेट की ऐंठन कुछ घंटों में गायब हो जाती हैं।

8. दही
आपने हमेशा सुना होगा की दही खाने से खाना अच्छे से पचन होता है। इसलिए दही को खाना खाने से पहले और बाद में खाना चाहिए। इसमें मौजूद एंटीबैक्टीरियल गुणों की वजह से यह लिवर में मौजूद संकरण को नष्ट करता है। गर्मियों के दिनों इसके सेवन से पेट की जलन भी दूर होती है।
 
9. खिचड़ी
फूड पॉइजनिंग वाले मरीज को खिचड़ी देनी चाहिए, क्योंकि यह हल्की होने के कारण आसानी से पच जाती है।

10. खूब पिएं पानी
जब भी फूड पॉइजनिंग हो जाए तो सबसे पहले हमें इस बात पर ध्यान देना चाहिए कि शरीर में पानी की कमी न आ जाये। इसलिए हमें ज्यादा से ज्यादा पानी पीना चाहिए, साथ ही सूप, चावल का पानी, नारियल पानी, खिचड़ी, ग्लूकोज आदि लेते रहना चाहिए।

8. प्रेग्नेंट होने में सहायक
ग्रीन टी हमारी फर्टिलिटी को भी प्रभावित करती है। स्टडीज के मुताबिक़ ग्रीन टी में इस्तेमाल होने वाले पौष्टिक तत्व, विटामिन और मिनरल शरीर पर पॉजिटिव इफ़ेक्ट डालते हैं। इसलिए लगातार ग्रीन टी पीने वाली महिलाओं को गर्भधारण करने में आसानी होती है । 
इस तरह ग्रीन टी से आप इस तरह के हेल्थ बेनिफिट्स ले सकते हैं पर ध्यान रहे किसी भी चीज़ की अत्ति अच्छी नहीं होती इसलिए जरूर पिएं ग्रीन टी पर एक लिमिट से ज्यादा नहीं वरना फायदे के बजाय नुकसान का सामना भी करना पड़ सकता है।
