You require to exercise to increase the tone of your abdominal muscles. Also shed excess weight, if any.

Is IgM positive? then you will have to worry. IgG positive means you are immune to Rubella, which actually is GOOD for you.

Wait for some more time before pregnancy test . Pregnancy is unlikely, though. Definite opinion can't be given without looking at her.

I'm 38 years old and have a problem of heavy bleeding during periods, cycle ranging from 22-25 days, and each period lasting 6-7 days. Ultrasound reports are normal and no problem of thyroid. Weight is normal and I exercise regularly. I have been taking Ashokarishta since 4 months. Please advise whether to stop it during periods or take it during periods as well. Also any additional medicine that I can try?

MD - Obstetrtics & Gynaecology
Gynaecologist, Kolkata
Can't comment about Ashokarishta. You may try Tab Deviry 10 mg daily after dinner x 10 days, from 16th day of your bleeding. Take Tab Pause-MF 1 tab 4 times daily after meals if bleeding is still heavy. There are other ways to treat, if this does not help.

Try Urine pregnancy test, though it's likely to be negative. She seems to be developing peri-menopausal abnormal bleeding and requires treatment and follow-up.

I am sure your Obstetrician is doing the needful. With the information you have given, noyhing much can be advised. Take care so that blood sugar remains in the normal range and must have "Anomaly scan" around 18-19 wks.

This is called Placenta praevia. This may cause bleeding per vagina. You shall be regularly in touch with your Obstetrician and avoid strenuous work and intercourse.

You will have to consult a Gynaecologist. You may be a case of PCOS, an ovulatory disorder. Also husband's Semen has to be examined.
