Day before yesterday my mom just slipped on the floor, from then she's feeling lot of pain on her back bone. When I took her to an orthopedic doctor he asked to take an x-ray and said that one bone were slightly disturbed but will become normal in 2-3 weeks. After that he suggested some medicines after using which my mom facing EVEN MORE PAIN THAN BEFORE. Can you help me on this? Also suggest her a good diet to loose some weight. She's 5.4 feet height with 69.3 kgs of weight.

I'll recomment to do mri for detail examination 1) do light massage with warm sesame oil or suitable oil for 15 min. Afterwards take hot fomentation for 10 min. 2) start natural calcium supplement. Consult privately to get more help.

I am a heart patient and I had angina two years back. Right now these days I have severe headaches and back neck pains during the night times. I can not even speak that time and I cry a lot due to the pain effect. I get very less sleep at night time. I have no energy in my body at that time. Please tell me what to do?

you are having angina pectoris for lot of time hence you are very apprehensive about provable heart attack . do not worry ballbthe time get regular check up done keep BP and sugar level under control if have one. take a tab paracetamol or calpol. Zhave plenty of water by mouth go for regular morning walk followed by free hand exercises. it will be ok

I am 58 yrs old diabetic for last 20 years. I got kidney transplanted 4 months back and absolutely fine. Deae, you have not mentioned whether there is any skin changes around the anus? please check it and get back to me. For now I could say just enhance the hygiene of anus avoid sweat, keep the anal region dry, you can apply - enderm gm cream twice a day for 5 days.

Dear to decrease ur weight you have to do work out daily...Try the remedies below they can help u. 1. Mix three teaspoons of lemon juice, one teaspoon of honey, and one-half teaspoon of black pepper powder in one glass of water. 2. Drink it in the morning on an empty stomach. 3. Do this daily for at least three months. 4. Drink mint tea or make a paste of green mint with some simple spices and eat during meals. 5. Eat vegetables such as bitter gourd and drumsticks to control obesity. 6. Do Bhujang asana , Dhanurasana ,Naukasana, Kumbhakasana , Pavanamukthasana daily 10 min per asana. 7. Do running early morning daily and join aerobics in evening. 8. Avoid oily and spicy food..and Constipation.

A healthy diet plays a major role to reduce your weight with combination of your excercise. You have to do some modification in your diet & excercise. You can lose your weight 3-5 kg by following a good diet plan & excercise or a healthy diet with right ratio of calories, protein & carb. You have to avoid such type of high gi foods, simple carb like rice, refind flour products, unhealthy food like fried, oily foods, fast & junk food, tea, coffee, sugary products & sugary drinks. You should take a healthy breakfast. If you want to lose your weight please don't skip it because it will help you to boost your metabolism, includes seasonal veg salad with lunch & dinner. First you should follow low calories food for weight loss. * in morning, take 1-2 chapattis with a bowl of cooked green vegetables. You can take a glass of lemon water with it *in lunch you can take a bowl of raw vegetables like carrot, radish, tomatoes, turnip or beetroot. *in evening, you can take a cup of green tea only with some pieces of friuts like apple, pineapple, pear. Avoid taking banana or mango. *in dinner, you can take vegetable soup or a bowl of cooked vegetables. But do not take potato, sweet potatoes. * you can take a cup skimmed milk 4 times a week only during day time. * work out for atleast 1 hour in morning, you can try skipping for 15minutes with a walk of 30 minutes and 5-10 minutes running. Follow these exercises in the morning - * lie down on flat surface, raise your legs without bending your knees, do it for 3-5 times daily * do not eat fastfoods and soft drinks, as they have high calories and the calories deposit in body in the form of weight if not utilised. * you can take medohar guggalu 1 tablet daily for quick weight loss but only under the guidance of ayurveda expert.

Take low calorie and low sodium and high protein food. Don't take rice at night. 4-5 meals in a day in a frequent intervals. Take 1 glass of lukewarm water with 1 tsp of alsi powder in the morning and go for walk.

Tsh 5.74 is not very high, you need not start medications now. Start yoga meditation or exercise, eat healthy food. Repeat the same test after 3 months if reports shows high consult and take treatment for same.

Any calcium tablet should be taken intermittently. That means have it for a month then leave it for a month then again have it for a month.

Mr. Lybrate-user, if you have confirmed diabetes then the only option is to either take oral anti- diabetic drugs or take insulin injections or both. These drugs hardly cause any side effects. If you stop the treatment then sugar levels will go high leading to serious side effects with all the vital organs. There no home remedies for treating diabetes. Eat, drink. Be merry but within permissible limits. Follow swasthvritt of ayurveda (routine lifestyle). Food, exercise, social duties to be balanced. Pranayam and meditation must be imminent part of your life. Extra power may be achieved by antioxidant herbs and'vrushya' medicines.

Hye. Thanks for the query. General weakness or feeling lethargic is a common problem faced by many. Basically, weakness is “lack of physical or muscle strength and the feeling that extra effort is needed to perform daily activities”. Weakness may leave you without energy to carry out day-to-day activities, drowsy or tired, sluggish, and uninterested. Other symptoms include excessive sweating, loss of appetite, difficulty concentrating, and difficulty falling asleep. You can feel weak due to lack of essential nutrients, not getting enough sleep, a weak immune system, excessive drinking, skipping meals, emotional stress, and too much physical labor. Persistent weakness can be caused by health problems like anemia, arthritis, hypothyroidism, a sleep disorder, cancer, chronic fatigue syndrome, diabetes and heart disease. In these cases, it is very important to find out the exact cause behind your weakness. Diet is the main source of energy for our body. It is important to know that just eating two heavy meals a day will not fulfill your nutrient needs. Most often we skip meals especially when at work or in college. We start our day on empty stomach but our work or stress or activity is never reduced. This causes weakness and lack of energy levels. Food is our source of energy and if you don't eat well as per your needs you are going to get deficient in many nutrients. So, start by eating the right foods at the right time. Eat meals at frequent intervals. Eat a mid meal between each main meal. Avoid junk foods. Include dairy, eggs, nuts, fruits in your meals. Avoid alcohol and smoking. Sleep well. So, to feel energetic and refreshed in life, you must exercise daily for at least 30 minutes, maintain your ideal body weight, follow a good diet, sleep properly, drink water throughout the day to keep your body hydrated, avoid alcohol and stop smoking.
