Any increase in the blood sugar levels can be termed as diabetes and it is due to damage to the beta cells of the pancreas and there is no age limit and it's better to eat food with low glycemic index levels.

Mr. Lybrate-user, it is good to know you exercise regularly to keep fit. However, your blood sugar levels both show impaired glucose tolerance (igt), which also means you are prediabetic. Usually at 150 mg pp level, urine will not have any sugar. Soplease take care and do not allow the sugar levels to go up. Your bmi is 26.71 kg/m2 (normal <23 kg/m2), so there is need for weight reduction. Also get a routine examination done to check if there is any infection. Uti can cause increased frequency and feeling or retention. If there is infection get it treated.

Dear lybrate-user, you should strictly follow your doctor's advice. At the same time you should make some positive changes in your lifestyle by exercising regularly and practicing strict diet control to get your hba1c levels in healthy limits. You may go for some ayurveda medication as an adjuvant therapy for better results. Don't stop the medication without your doctor's advice.

Eating selenium-rich foods, such as sunflower seeds or Brazil nuts, can be beneficial. Tyrosine: This amino acid is used by the thyroid gland to produce T3 and T4. Symptoms of high sugar are fatigue and weakness, increased thirst and urination, sudden weight gain /loss, irritability, dizziness, numbness in legs etc. But usually all patients may not have these symptoms. It is better to check sugar levels regularly if you have family history of diabetes or are overweight. Breathlessness or difficulty in breathing is the most prominent symptom of asthma. Hope that helps.

What is the mail symptom of thyroid desires. Since I have had thyroid in childhood.

MBBS, CCEBDM, Diploma in Diabetology
Endocrinologist, Hubli-Dharwad
What is the mail symptom of thyroid desires. Since I have had thyroid in childhood.
Mr. Lybrate-user, it would have been better if you had mentioned what was the condition that you had as a child. Because thyroid is an endocrine gland present in all of us. It produces hormone thyroxine, which is essential for development and functioning of brain, for a large number of metabolic activities in the body. Deficiency of that hormone causes hypothyroidism and excess causes hyperthyroidism. So it is unclear by saying" I have had thyroid" hypothyroidism causes swelling of face & lower limbs, slow heart rate, tiredness, early fatigue, dry hair, dry skin and hair fall, difficulty in speech, inability to concentrate, weight gain, in females irregularity of menstrual cycle, excess flow, plus anxiet and depression. If untreated can cause serious consequences. Hyperthyroidism causes loss of weight, increased heart rate, palpitation, protruding eyes, anxiety, agitation, sexual disturbances etc.

may know what you mean by" no positive effects. Because if there are no major symptoms related to hypothyroidism it is good. Being thin is no problem, because in hypothyroidism weight increases disproportionately

Home Remedies for Female Infertility (Sterility)

Home Remedies for Female Infertility (Sterility)
Home Remedies for Female Infertility (Sterility)

A woman is considered to have an infertility or sterility problem when she is unable to conceive a child after at least one year of unprotected, regular, well-timed intercourse.

Infertility also includes an inability to maintain a pregnancy or carry a child to live birth, as described by the World Health Organization.

Female infertility accounts for approximately one-third of all infertility cases, according to the American Pregnancy Association. In fact, it affects an estimated 48 million women worldwide.

In women, fertility can be affected by various health problems, such as polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), endometriosis, pelvic inflammatory disease, uterine fibroids, anemia, thyroid problems, blocked fallopian tubes, Candida and sexually transmitted diseases (STDs).

Other factors, such as heavy drinking, smoking, age (older than 35), obesity, excessive stress, a history of irregular or painful periods, a poor diet and intense physical training, can also increase a woman’s risk of infertility.

Experiencing infertility is emotionally painful for any woman and can lead to anxiety, isolation, extended periods of depression, and an inability to concentrate on daily tasks.

With techniques such as in vitro fertilization (IVF) or surrogacy, many women struggling with infertility are eventually able to have a child. However, these techniques are very expensive and some women simply cannot afford them.

There are natural and herbal treatments that also can help fight the root cause of infertility and increase your chances of getting pregnant. Lifestyle factors, such as regular exercise and following a healthy diet, can also help.
