Advice. Regular stretching of shoulder muscles. Warm up and cool down is a must. Hot fomentation. Postural correction. Shoulder shrugs. Use cervical pillow.

You have also mentioned high uric acid levels for which I can advise you. General recommendations are: - decreasing intake of red meat, alcohol, rice in your diet and other purine rich sources - also increase your water intake so that uric acid is excreted from body well. - keeping your weight to normal levels will also help you. - intake of fresh fruits, citrus fruits and cherries has been implicated in reducing uric acid values in the body as well. Dear lybrateuser, - Your problem could be due to muscular or bony problem as pain is on movement - do not exert, bend, lift weight or exercise till pain subsides - do hot fomentation three times a day - apply pain killer gel three times a day - take a pain killer tablet if pain is more - do x- ray chest if pain does not improve & consult a doctor.

I am 63 years of age, I have developed pain in both my knees, the right knee has a kind of inflammation above knee towards the outer side-which appears as an accumulation of the muscles and hamper the walking; the radiological tests indicate this to be a case of osteo arthritis, I am keen to know about the treatment etc. To be pursued.

Yesterday I went for ECG because of the pain in shoulder and back side of the left arm. My heart rate in ECG is 54 and BP, cholesterol everything is normal. My age is 29 and I am doing 15 min yoga posture everyday. Doctor said that is because of acidity and prescribed some acidity regulator pills and antacid. For normal adult is is from 60-100 beats per minute. In atheles it may be low like 54 as in your case.

She should focus on weight control which is pretty much ok and do exercises regularly do build up quadriceps muscles. I personally feel more active life style will help her feel better and lessen her pains. Personally do not feel that medicines really work except pain killers which should be judiciously used. This Is we assume its only ageing osteoarthritis and there is no post injury acute onset that resulted in internal damage to the structures.(meniscus/Ligament ). Get her vitamins checked and encourage exercises.

Please follow the following in respect to your queries: 1. Clean your face twice a day using lukewarm water to dissolve oil. 2. Avoid touching your face with your hands as this germs to your facial skin, making it to breakouts. 3. Ensure that you drink 10-12 glasses of water daily. 4. Avoid fried and spicy food. 5. Include fruits, raw vegetables and fresh vegetable juices in your diet. 6. Avoid harsh skin products. From last 3month having acute back pain doctor suggested for a ap, lat xray image of d-l spine and found L3-L4 erosion and checked serum PSA-151, acid phosphatase 260 creatinine-9.97, normal BP, sugar level normal, usg abdomen mentions that prostatomegaly and biopsy result is adenocarcinoma of prostrate with PNI and gleason score of 7 (3+4, suggested for orchiectomy but with the help of nuclear medicine they diagnosed that multiple myeloma. Rightnow I am having chest infection, cough, fever, body pain, shall I confirm it as a c/o multiple myeloma? What are the proper diagnostic to confirm it? If it is multiple myeloma what will be the better treatment for it?

Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana – Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Back Stretching- lie flat, pull one of the knee forward to chest, hold for 3 seconds, then bring the other knee forward to the chest and again hold for 3 seconds. Then pull both knees towards the chest and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times each exercise twice a day. Do the cat/cow stretch. Get on all fours, with your arms straight and your hands directly under your shoulders; your knees hip-width apart.

Firstly get your eyesight checked up as soon as possible…it is strongly advisable that you keep yourself away from laptops, televisions until you get cured. Make sure you have your head in the south or east direction while sleeping… The most effective remedy for these kind of problems is" cow ghee" take 1 spoon of cow ghee and warm it, With the help of a dropper, Pour one drop of cow ghee in each of your nostril. It may sound weird or a hectic job at first but trust me it is the most effective remedy. It Makes your head nerves lighter and healthier that too without any side effects. Furthermore it is advisable that you keep yourself stress free by practicing breathing exercise (pranayam) everyday. Take at least 8 hours of sleep.
