hi I think angioplast isn' t essential in all the cases of blockages. Blockages can be removed with some dietary changes and physical excercise and pranayam. What do you think.

Chew food well– Half of the digestion happens in your mouth, when food mixes well with your saliva, teeth are there for chewing food well, don’t just gulp your food down the throat, few not well digested can also lead to gaining weight Eat slowly, eat mindfully– Eating slowly and giving attention to what you eat helps you to digest your food well and also helps you enjoy the process of eating Eat vegetables with every meal- It is important to include vegetables in form of salads, soups or sabji with every meal, vegetables are good sources of vitamins and minerals plus are low in calories, it helps give feeling of satiety. Eat protein with every meal– Protein are important part of our diet, they help increase our metabolism and also help to repair wear and tear of body muscles. A diet with required amount of lean proteins aids in weight loss Cook at home– Avoid outside foods, they are high in not so good fats, colours, salt and preservatives. You can keep your blood pressure in check by eating healthy with less salt and sugar, fat and junkies, more vegetables and fruits, jogging, sleeping well, avoiding tension and stress and more importantly not shying away from medicine if your bleed pressure is still high despite all these. Hi, Follow these tips to increase your blood pressure: 1. Increase intake of salt by adding salt to curds rice and taking pickles along with curds rice. 2. Drink plenty of fluids like Nimbu pani, tender coconut, water, buttermilk, fresh fruit juices, etc. 3.Drink hot coffee or tea when you feel dizzy. 4. Take sound sleep for 7-8 hours at night. 5. Avoid standing for too long hours. 6. Do yoga and meditation which helps to relieve mental stress and control emotions. 7. Avoid anxiety, stress and depression. 8. Perform regular exercises. 9. Hi. I am telling this to everybody who are taking bp pills at a younger age! raises bp at a younger age calls for a thorough investigation to look for cause of bp. Then bp medicines are to be selected according to the reports. The possibility of false bp problem or temporary rise in blood pressure due to anxiety, apprehension or fear etc has to be ruled out. Better consult a cardiologist in your town and let him decide things for you. Take care.

At 92 kg he is definitely overweight. Normal ecg and 2d at rest do not rule out coronary artery disease. A treadmill test is advisable. If he is hypertensive and diabetic, then it is all the more reason to do it.

Hi I am an 55 year old man and I have done ptca to rca (ira) 0n 19/01/2015 with stenting 95% stenosed (a drug eluting stent [ xience prime] 3.0 x 38 mm. Was deployed at 14 atm. Pressure with very good result and timi-3 flow. I have another blockage of 80% in another lca now what should I eat and drink (red wine or not). And what kind of exercises I can do.

Hi went through your query. 1. Exercise: start with casual walking at a pace comfortable to you. Do not over exert yourself. After 2 weeks of casual walking slightly increase the pace and keep increasing the pace slightly every 2 weeks. Do daily exercise for at least 30 minutes. Diet: you have not mentioned whether you are hypertensive or diabetic. Assuming you are not I shall advise you the following diet. -- morning after you get up drink at least 1 litre of water (you can add lemon to it) -- try taking green tea/ lemon tea instead on tea or coffee. -- have a satisfying breakfast, let the food be cooked in olive oil or sunflower oil. --- have a light lunch/dinner, increase the intake of vegetables and fruits. Do not go to bed/sleep immediately after lunch/dineer -- avoid non veg food. -- avoid junk food, carbonated drinks, cheese, butter, ghee. -- if you are a regular alcohol consumer only then you substitute whisky/rum/brandy to red wine, but if you are not regular alcohol consumer then no need to take red wine regularly (neither whisky/rum:))

high cholesterol can cause atherosclerotic heart disease or narrowed coronary arteries in the heart can cause the symptoms of angina, when theheart muscle is not provided with enough oxygen to function. Decreased blood supply to the brain may be due to narrowed small arteries in the brain or because the larger carotidarteries in the neck may become blocked. This can result in a transient ischmic attack or stroke. Peripheral artery disease describes gradual narrowing of the arteries that supply the legs. During exercise , if the legs do not get enough blood supply, they can develop pain , called claudication . Other arteries in the body may also be affected by plaque buildup causing them to narrow, including the mesenteric arteries to the intestine and the renal arteries to the kidney. you should be avoid bad habits ,fatty meal/oily foods/junk/fast foods/alcohol/smoking/noo-veg. take whole grain meal/oats/dalia/green veg./fruits/juice/ use garlic . you can take also cap. ecosprin gold-10 at night. and consult cardiologist.
