What are the symptoms diabetes and what are the precautions or cure for diabetes.
Increase thirst, increased frequency of urination are some initial symptoms of diabetes but it can vary from being completely asymptomatic to non specific symptoms like weakness, loss of weight, tingling in feet, dry mouth, blurry vision, burning during urination. You need to follow a healthy lifestyle to prevent such metabolic diseases. Type 1 usually occurs at younger age due to insulin deficiency and treated with insulin injections. It can't be cured completely but you can keep it controlled by taking these precautions.

I am going to school n eating healthy food but I am not gaining health and weight please help and give medications.
The first thing you have to do is to develop a positive attitude towards your goal. You need to understand that transforming your physique is going to take a lot of time. These things don't work that easily. It's going to take a lot of hard work and consistency. The fat that you are carrying around was accumulated in years. So how can you expect to lose it in mere days. 1. Start exercising. Start working out if you are not active. Begin with body weight exercises like push up, pull up and squats. Weight training proves to be really helpful if you want to gain good quality weight. Train each body part twice a week. For example: monday/thursday: chest + triceps tuesday/friday: back + biceps wednesday/saturday: legs + shoulders don't forget to warm up for at least 10 - 15 minutes. Warm up includes jumping, rope skipping, treadmill, cycling, stair climbing, etc. 2. Eat healthy. Stop drinking and smoking too much if you are indulged in it. Limit your intake of junk food and any form of sugar. Do not at all starve yourself. Make it a habit to eat something healthy every 2 - 3 hours. Some of the recommended food items are boiled chicken and eggs, brown rice, brown bread, peanut butter, olive oil (extra virgin), green tea, dry fruits etc. 3. Consume good amount of fruits and vegetables. Bananas, apples, pomegranate, green leafy vegetables. Fruits and vegetables helps in absorption of food in the body and together, completes your daily nutrition need. 4. Eat whole grains. Try to have multi grains spread throughout the day. Wheat, brown rice, oats are best sources of healthy carbohydrates but do not include these items in your dinner. 5. Increase protein intake. Protein proves to be the most essential nutrient when it comes down to gaining strength or building muscle. Therefore, consume all types of protein from both veg and non veg food items. Boiled chicken and eggs are the best sources of fat free protein. Sprouts are also rich in protein.

Dear user pushups and crunches are basically toning up the body and are a bit less effective for weight. Focussing on weight you can go for walk, jogging,running etc.

Foods to eat

  • Soy: soy foods like tofu, miso and tempeh; as well as beans, lentils, cauliflower and broccoli can help control estrogen levels.
  • Indole-3-carbinol (i3c): eat more foods rich in i3c which helps eliminate excess hormones from the body. These include cabbage, brussels sprouts, broccoli and cauliflower.
  • Magnesium rich foods like almonds, bananas, prunes, cashew nuts and broccoli help to reduce painful cramps associated with ovarian cysts.
  • Dandelion coffee: a herbal substitute for coffee, helps support the liver so that it can remove excess hormones more easily.
  • Omega-3: eat foods rich in omega-3 essential fatty acids because they help control hormone disruptions as well as insulin resistance (linked to pcos). Good options include flax seeds (linseeds), oil fish (salmon, anchovies, sardines, mackerel and herring) and hemp seeds.
  • Go organic: stick to organic foods as much as possible as pesticides can disrupt hormone balances. Peel all vegetables and fruit if they are not organic.

Foods to avoid

  • Alcohol: reduce your intake of alcohol as it can elevate estrogen levels. If you do want to have a drink, red wine is the best option.
  • Wheat: eat fewer wheat products because wheat contains phytic acid which binds minerals like magnesium and zinc, both of which are essential for hormone balance and preventing cramps.
  • Caffeine: cut back on caffeine products, coffee, sodas, chocolate, energy drinks and tea because it can disrupt hormones.
  • Sugar: avoid refined sugar, that is, the sort of sugar found in cakes, pastries, candy and cookies because it plays havoc with hormones.
  • Other related resources: alternative treatment for endometriosis and natural treatment for pcos. Both conditions are characterized by excess estrogen levels, and natural therapies are aimed at restoring hormone balance.

Supplements and remedies

B-vitamins: take a good b-vitamin supplement as it is helps to balance blood sugar and hormone levels. If you already take a multi-vitamin, check it’s b-vitamin content. If it is a good formula, it should contain 100 percent of your daily b vitamin dosage, so there is no need to buy an additional supplement.

Brassica vegetable extract supplements: are helpful in balancing hormones. These contain extracts from cruciferous vegetables like cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower and brussels sprouts. You can purchase these easily enough on the internet from companies like life extension.

Herbs: talk to a chinese herbalist - a cinnamon and rehmannia combination is a traditional treatment in china for ovarian cysts. The traditional recipe contains 30g of rehmannia, 9g of antler gelatin, 3g of cinnamon bark, 2g roasted ginger, 6g of sinapis, 2g of ma-huang and 3g of licorice.

Lifestyle tips

  • Stress: find ways to relax. Stress contributes to major hormone fluctuations - try adding rose, geranium or agnus castus essential oils to your bath. If you need a little motivation, read about the dangers of stress in women.
