107 Fasting Sugar is in normal range. You have not mentioned PP level. Also A1C test will give confirmatory results. Type of Diabetes is Type 2 since you must have had this problem in adulthood. Your BMI is currently 39.82 which falls in Obese Cl 2. Closer to Cl 3. Your body is carrying about 32 kgs extra weight. You need to work on this and bring your weight down. Every step you take will help you to reduce your Diabetes Levels and other symptoms you are facing. I can presume you are on to some food addictions. Find a way to break them. Better to join some organised aerobic/dance/yoga classes. Eat more fruits and salads and drink more water. You are young today and you can take steps to be fitter and healthier. Never give up.

Continue work out. Don't eat seeds, instead eat sprouted matar and moong. Confine to 3 meals. Do not put any thing except water in your mouth in between. At 250 gms salad half hour before principal meals choose one day of the week. On that day eat only fruits. Total quantity not to exceed 500 gms of edible material for detailed diet plan

Avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Apply hot fomentation twice daily. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily. Bhujang asana. Core strengthening exercises. Back stretching. Do the cat/cow stretch.

Hi lybrate-user first try to reduce your weight by- incorporate more fruits, vegetables, and whole grains into your diet while eliminating unhealthy foods. - if you are working or studying away from home, try to pack healthy lunch and snacks for yourself to avoid eating unhealthy food daily. - don't eat straight from the packet - use a plate or bowl to control how much you eat. - don't delay or skip meals. - cut down your consumption of aerated drinks and sodas. - drink at least 8 glasses of water every day. Drink water after waking up and before sleeping. Being dehydrated may make you feel like you're hungry, so it is important to stay hydrated. - have homemade fruit and vegetable juices - eat 5-6 small healthy meals every 2-3 hours, every day, instead of having a few big ones. This regulates your blood sugar level and your metabolism. - don't skip breakfast, instead, make it rich with complex carbohydrates and proteins, so it can provide you with energy to get through the day. Try to include the following as your morning breakfast, oats porridge, eggs on multigrain toast or daliya with sprouts. - avoid artificial sweeteners in processed foods. - eat slowly as it takes about 20 minutes for your brain to register if you're full or not. Eating too fast leads to overeating, so chew slowly to digest your food better and control how much you eat. - use a smaller plate to control your portion sizes and avoid overeating. - know your cravings and do not snack when you're emotional. It is said that you crave crunchy and savory food when you're stressed, frustrated or lonely. Figure out what you crave and replace them with healthier alternatives. - do not eat mindlessly; concentrate on your food instead of watching tv or playing with your phone to avoid overeating. - do surya namaskar 10 times daily to reduce extra fat from body.

Antioxidants And Their Delicious Sources

Antioxidants: What are they?

Antioxidants are free radical scavengers known to enhance our immunity. We know that fruits and vegetables with vibrant colors are great sources of antioxidants. Many times we wish that foods that taste delicious were as healthy as these fruits and veggies. Here is something to cheer you up. The foods listed below are not only tasty but also rich in antioxidants.

Antioxidants and their sources:

  • Eggs: Egg yolk contains an antioxidants called “lutein”. Lutein is known to prevent muscular degeneration and cataracts. Though the lutein content in yolk is lesser than the lutein content of the green leafy veggies, but according to some studies the lutein from yolk is more effectively absorbed due to the fat content of the yolk.
  • Tinned beans: Tinned beans contains phytochemicals. Phytochemicals repair damaged dna and also neutralize free radicals. Small red beans, dark kidney beans and black beans are rich in antioxidants. You can now enjoy your baked beans with a touch of health.
  • Whole grain pasta/noodles: These whole grain dishes contain polyphenols. Polyphenols are strong anti-cancerous elements. Whole grain pasta and noodles contain 3 to 4 times more antioxidants than the regular ones. In combination to antioxidants these foods also contain good amount of fiber that help in regulating cholesterol levels.
  • Yogurt: There is an additional health benefit to this yummy delight. Although it does not directly contain any antioxidants, it does contain riboflavin which enhances or promotes the activity of antioxidants glutathione. Riboflavin being a water soluble vitamin b, it easily flushes out of the body. You need to consume yogurt on a daily basis to be benefited.
  • Organic milk: Organic milk is the milk obtained from cows that feed on organic food. The antioxidant value of this milk is 40 to 50 times greater than the cows raised in a conventional manner. Antioxidants like vitamin e, lutein and beta carotene are present in it. Organic cheese and butter are other options you may choose.
  • Popcorn: Popcorn is not only a fast and favorite snack, but it also is good in its fiber and antioxidant content. A study carried out by the university of scranton revealed that the whole grain snack foods such as popcorn have surprisingly high levels of polyphenols which have anti-cancerous properties.
  • Natural sweeteners: Natural sweeteners like honey, maple syrup, molasses, brown sugar contain good amount of anti oxidants. Darker the color of honey, greater is its antioxidant content. The non-commercial varieties of honey contain poly phenol. Adding these natural sweeteners in your dessert instead of table sugar does have some added benefit.
  • Canola oil: Canola oil contains alpha-tocopherol. Alpha-tocopherol prevents the oxidation of bad cholesterol (ldl), preventing the release of free radicals. No wonder canola oil is considered to be heart-healthy oil.

for get energy do not worry pl. take multivitamin cap. or powder. i.e. cap. neurokind plus once a day after meal daily. Avoid bad habits i.e. Avoid fast food/fat/oily,salty foods. Coffee, smoking, alcohol intake. Non-veg., take whole grain,oats,green veg.,plenty of water in day time, 1 glass of water at night before bed.

There is no shortcut to fat loss. you have to eat clean and exercise well to achieve results. To maintain a low body fat and/or lower body fat: 1. Exercise at least 5 times per week 2. Eat whole/unprocessed foods at regular intervals, while being aware of physical hunger/fullness cues 3. Sleep 7-9 hours per night 4. Don’t engage in extreme diets 5. Stay consistent with your habits 6. Incorporate non-exercise physical activity 7. Ignore food advertising You need a fat loss diet which comprises of whole grains like jowar, bajra, wheat, brown rice, pulses like moong, musoor, bengal gram, lots of vegetables, fruits, eggs, fish, chicken, paneer, healthy oil, nuts and seeds. You need to eat them in right proportion. Avoid eating sugar and sweets, refined foods like maida, noodles pasta, White rice and products, bread. Drink a lot of water.

From past few month I have been diagnosed with thyroid, having tsh reading of 9.8. I had been given thyronorm 25 and am taking it regularly, but I still feel lazy, I sleep a lot as in am not able to get up early in the morning, not interested in any activities, constipation is also there, and am gaining weight. Hello just because you have leeway to gain weight don't eat junk. Include calorie dense foods in every meal, exercise regularly. Basically increase of protein and be regular example for calorie dense- peanut, bran muffin, almond butter, eggs, lean meat, prunes juice etc for detail plan contact through private text.

It is great that you are not taking any medicine for losing your weight. Considering your height and Indian ethnicity weight 70 +/_ 3 may be suitable for you. Do not try to lose your weight in a hurry. For a sustainable result, you need to follow following diet and lifestyle. These diet and lifestyle go hand in hand, hence are equally important. Wake up early between 5: 00 to 6: 00 o'clock. Brush your teeth. I suggest Patanjali Danta Manjana (not paste) You may opt for any herbal Dant Manjan. This may stimulate your defecation and relieve constipation if any. Make it a habit that you go for toilet after you brush. You must not defalcate forcefully, but with time, you will develop this habit. If you have constipation, a cup of lukewarm water may help. Avoid tea, coffee, tobacco, cigarette etc. If any. After that, you should exercise at least for half an hour. Don't exercise if you have not passed your stool. Exercise may include Yoga Aasanas, Pranayama, push-ups, sit-ups etc. Lying down Bicycle Exercise can help reduce fat from buttocks and abdomen where it usually accumulates. Relax for about half to one hour. If you feel hungry, take a light breakfast. Breakfast must not be heavy. (Modern dieticians expect it to ne heavy). If not hungry do not eat. Take your lunch between 11: 00 AM to 1: 00 PM. Avoid overeating. It should be a balanced diet. Your body can digest this time very well. Make it a habit. Avoid excessive water intake. (Dieticians expect you take plenty of water.) Especially, just before, during and just after your meals. Lukewarm water is great for you. Avoid cold water. Excessive water consumption hampers your digestion and is an important cause for obesity. You can always take a sip of water if you feel thirsty. Do not eat anything else. You may take limejuice in the evening. Avoid junk food, Chinese food, carbonated beverages, cold drinks, ice creams, bakery products, oily spicy food. Take your dinner between 7: 00 to 8: 00 PM. The dinner should not be heavy. You need to follow 'early to bed early to rise' rule. Sleep at least for 7 to 8 hours. If you have stress say from your job or due to some another reason, spare some time for meditation. You also can do some activities like hearing music, playing games like table tennis, watching comedy serials and many more. Stress as an important factor contributing to obesity. Diet: Avoid sweet items, processed milk products, non-vegetarian food, potato products, soybean and its products, palm oil, hydrogenated oils. If you cannot follow above schedule due to your job prioritizes and/or if you work in night shifts, you need a special advice. I will be happy to guide.
