What do you do? A lot of your acidity problem is related to your excessive weight. Your bmi is 40. That's too much. If you wont loose your weight. You will start facing a lot of problem. Drink a lot of water for your burning micturition problem.

From last 1 month I have some pain in middle of chest. I had took some homeopathic medicine then I am feeling good. But still I am feeling some pain during morning time. When I coordinated with homeopathy doctor they told that there is some gastric problem. So, I request you to give me some advice so that I can be totally alright from this problem.

Dear Lybrateuser, -Your pain in middle chest is due to hyperacidity -avoid spicy, fried & junk food, have fresh homemade food, instead of three large meals have 4-5 small meals including snacks, do not miss meals, have meals at fixed timings, chew your food well, have dinner 2-3 hrs before bedtime, do not lye down immediately after meals -have 8-10 glasses of water for proper digestion & to remove toxins from the body -do regular exercises like walking, jogging, swimming for 20-30 min a day, also do yoga for good digestion -take syrup gelusil, 2 teaspoonful half an hour after every meal -also restrict intake of tea/coffee to 2-3 cups a day, have biscuit along with it to reduce acidity, avoid alcohol & tobacco completely if you consume it -if still not much relief then get investigations done, consult a doctor. -

A problem pertaining to the storage function of the bladder that results in bouts of sudden, often uncontrollable urge to urinate is referred to as an overactive bladder. This condition which is marked by unconditioned or involuntary loss of urine can sometimes be quite difficult to stop. People who experience such a condition often feel humiliated and as such tend to limit their social and work life. Despite such, only a few are conscious that a brief evaluation can help them manage and overcome an overactive bladder.

Mechanism of Urination

During urination, the urine proceeds from the bladder and flows into the urethra which is located at the tip of the penis in men and above the vagina in women. As the bladder fills, the nerve signals in the brain prompts urination by coordinating the relaxation and contraction of the urinary sphincter muscles.

Causes and Symptoms of an Overactive Bladder

Primarily caused due to involuntary contraction and relaxation of sphincter muscles, several conditions can lead to overactive bladder. 

Some of them are: 
1. Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's and other neurological disorders
2. Poor kidney function due to diabetes
3. Medications that lead to increased production of urine
4. Bladder abnormalities like tumors or stones
5. Constipation
6. Excessive consumption of caffeine or alcohol

Some of the common signs of an overactive bladder are:
1. Bouts of sudden, uncontrollable urge to urinate
2. Awakening at night frequently to urinate
3. Urinating more than eight times a day

The risk of an overactive bladder gradually increases with age. Conditions, such as diabetes and an enlarged prostate results in the increased likelihood of an overactive bladder. People who have previously faced strokes and heart attacks experience cognitive decline, which often times lead to the development of an overactive bladder.

Sir my age is 23. Height 6 ft. Weight 76 kg. Sir from 8 month I am having numbness and tingling in whole body. Excessive haur growth on whole body except beard part as I have very less hair on face only on moustache and chin. Excessive hair growth on eyebrows and head hair too. Chest and abdomen enlargement. Frequent urination and more frequency of urination along with dark coloured and smelly urine. Abdominal pain even on eating and left half head shooting pain from backside. Hig bp 150/100. Sir my problems are increasing day by day .no medicines are working on me. My vitamin d level in body is decreasing day by day. 4 month ago it was 113 now it is 70 .even I used to go in sunlight and my diet is normal. Only I am eating only 1 chappati at a time due to abdominal pain. Sir I was suspecting of adrenal gland cancer so I had 2 ultrasound of abdomen 6 month ago. It came normal with right renal cortical cyst. As I am noticing reduction in my testicle size so I went to endocrinologist .sir he ordered my total testosterone serum which came 2.59 ng/ml. Cbc was normal. Lipid profile was normal. Potassium was 4.98.sugar fasting was 97. Sir do I can still have chance of adrenal gland cancer?

Generally in this season (April-May) I feel like fire is burning inside my belly. And that time I am unable to sit in the chair infact. Its hard for me to take hot food that times. And yes the bad habit is I do smoke.

I'm suffering from bloating problem from last 3 years, I tried many gas relieving syrups and tablets. The problem is still there I focus on healthy food and good schedule but whenever I eat outside it make me either loose motion or constipation. So I want to know how to overcome these problems i. E. Bloating and food sensitivity!

Hi lybrate-user, thanks for the query. As per your symptoms your are suffering from flatulent dyspepsia. To overcome these problem try these easy tips. 1. Eat more of fiber diet. Salads, fruits and sprouts will help a lot. 2. Keep a regular exercise schedule of min 20mins. This should include either fast walk or jog. 3. Do not eat at once. Keep a mini session at an interval of 4 hours. Do not increase the quantity of per day meal. Just break the meals in parts. 4. Drink a lot of water in between two meals. These will help a lot to get relieve from the bloating. But for food sensitivity I would suggest go for homoeopathy. We have good set of remedies for the food allergies. Feel free to ask more.

I'm facing acidity Problem as body create more acid what type of food should I take which uses all the acid in digestion and I can overcome the problem of acid flux.

Dear lybrate user, you need to take homoeopathic carbo veg 200, 5 drops, thrice daily, in empty stomach. You can also try homoeopathic liver tonic liv-t (sbl company). Take 20 ml of the aforesaid liver tonic, thrice daily, after meals. Try to drink as much water as you can drink daily. Try to get an uninterrupted sleep of minimum 8 hours.

From last two months I suffer from gas and belching weakness all the time whatever I eat I have gas feel very upset all day what I can do.

Hi, Take tab. Gasex 2-0-2 after food and tab. Avipattikara 1-1-1 for 10 - 15 days. Do not keep the stomach for long hours. Avoid spicy and oily food. Drink 2-3 litres of water per day. Walk for 30 mins daily. Take Himcocid Syrup 2 tsf 3 times a day 15 mins before food to relieve belching and vomiting sensation.

I am very weak I want to get healthy how can I get healthy I eats lot of food but bit not digest.

Dear you can easily gain weight and get a healthy muscular body by following these best things - 1. To gain weight, your digestion should work properly. If you have any disease of digestive system you should treat disease first. For proper digestion - take 10 gms powder of carom seeds (ajwain, 10 gm powder of cumin (jeera), 10 gm of rock salt. Mix them well and take 1/2 teaspoon (3-5 gm) of mixture daily after meal. Or take 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper (kali mirch), 1/ 2 tea spoon of jeera (cumin), 2-3 slice of ginger. Boil it in one glass of water for 2-3 minutes. Drink 5-10 teaspoons (15-20 ml) in morning and evening for strong digestive system. Or you can take amla powder 1 teaspoon with water for strong digestion. 2. Take a diet rich with proteins and fats. You should take high calorie food that increase your muscle mass and induce growth in bones. I am sending the diet chart. Follow it in your daily life to fastly gain weight * in morning, take a glass of milk added with 2 teaspoons of protein powder with breakfast. * in lunch time, take 1 bowl of curd or 100 gm of cheese, a bowl of vegetable, with chapattis. * in evening, take 1 glass of milk (300 ml) with 2 bananas. * in night, take a bowl of careals (daal, a bowl of salad with chapattis. 3. I am 34 old year male. Usually after waking up in the morning I have proper bowel movement and I poop properly. Afterwards I take tea and again get a bowel movement, this time my poop becomes thinner accompanied with gas, after which I feel satisfied. You can compare it with a shampoo bottle, which is when full, squeezing results in proper output but when it becomes empty, we have to apply more pressure and shampoo comes out in small quantity with air. From the last three weeks I am having weird condition. My second time bowel movement has stopped or becomes very less and very thin. And I am having a feeling of pressure at both sides of my waist on the back side throughout day. I feel dissatisfied, gas and wants to poop, but I get urge to poop at evening only. I have an ultrasound with no problems. Also thyroid and sugar tests are ok. I have tried antacids with no result. Doctor prescribed me CINTODAC which I am taking from last 9 days with no result. I am taking little frequent diet with fiber and lot of fluid. I tried constipation medicine also.

Good Morning ~ Thank you for a detailed description of your problem. A normal bowel movement for human beings can vary between 3 times per day to three time per week. This is the range of normal and there are many permutations and combinations of any number of conditions in between. I believe that you will find it reassuring to know that a slight variation in your bowel habits is normal. It is also preferable to have a normal bowel movement per day, however as you age or as your diet changes there may be changes in your bowel habits as well. Even if the bowel movement is in the evening it is absolutely fine. If the doctor's prescription is not helping you, it seems to me that you are having some problems with fibre in your diet, and rather than using artificial fibres it may be well to use a diet rich in fibre content. Anyhow, if this does not answer your question to your satisfaction, I am willing to discuss this further and answer any questions or address any concerns you may have regarding your condition.

Since you are suffering from stomach ache for 3 years, I advice you to do an upper gi endoscopy after consulting gastro enterologist and follow the advice and treatment.
