Dear lybrate user with the limited information provided it appears that you are suffering form indigestion issues. This is a common entity when we consume a high carbohydrate load and our intestines are not able to cater all of it, which is then converted to free compounds which later presents as flatulence and uneasiness. It is advisable if you can start exercising regularly along with intake of high fibre diet and liberal fluid intake. Some blood test can also be done if your problem persist. Hope this solves your query. Anything more then feel free to revert.

I am suffering with gas problem. Which diet I have follow to prevent gas problem.

I am suffering with gas problem. Which diet I have follow to prevent gas problem.
Hello, Thanks for your query on Lybrate "As" per your clinical history is concerned please follow like this - The ideal diet for bloating should avoid all gas-producing foods such as beans, legumes, vegetables such as sprouts, turnips, and cabbages, and fruits such as peaches, pears, and melons. Fizzy drinks should be avoided as well as should all food products made with artificial sweeteners as this can increase gas and bloating. Try and add ginger, peppermint, clove, and cinnamon into your diet as they act as natural remedies against bloating. Do follow lifestyle modifications like this -: 1) Try to avoid skipping meals or leaving large gaps between meals 2) Drink lots of water during the day[More than 10 glasses 3) Try to eat small meals and chew foods properly 4) Do not talk while eating as this increases air being swallowed into the stomach 5) Try to limit food products that contain wheat and milk 6) Antibiotics used to treat other ailments could also lead to bloating so try and avoid too much of them 7) Try to avoid heavy meals at night and try not to lie down soon after eating Hope that helps.

I have problem of acidity, what are possible reasons for acidity? What should I do? Is any simple way to control it? Too late sleep at night is a true reason?

AUTLS, CCEDM, MD - Internal Medicine, MBBS

I have problem of acidity, what are possible reasons for acidity? What should I do? Is any simple way to control it? ...
acidity is due to an incorrect lifestyle and irregular eating patterns, not taking enough fluids, sedentary lifestyle.Foods that are heavy and difficult to digest, as well as oily, spicy, fried, and junk foods are the culprits. Eating food in a disturbed atmosphere or in front of the television and being awake late at night all lead to bowel disturbance. Psychological factors like stress, anxiety, fear, jealousy, and sorrow also play an important role. DIET & LIFESTYLE ADVICE: Increase intake of fiber, especially fruits and cooked vegetables. An Apple or Pineapple/Pomegranate each day is helpful.  Drink 7-8 glasses of lukewarm water each day. Take daily morning and evening walks for at least 20-30 minutes each. Eat whole grains /nuts/sprouts and Muesli in breakfast Avoid removing bran from the flour because it clears the intestines  Avoid refined foods like white flour, bread, pasta, pizza, white rice,or high protein foods like cheese, meat and cold foods like ice cream or chilled drinks  take tablet sompraz -d twice daily before meals daily and syp gaviscon 2 tsp twice daily after meals

Dear , you may have threadworm infestation where itcing at anus is associated withallergic reaction around anus. So get stool examination done. If possitive then tratment is simple. This infestation self perpetuates through anus to mouth route so be careful to wash hands thoroughly after toilet and also after every scratch at anus. Dr. Kiran mehta.

Let me tell you how can your digestive system be regularized. First of all have a look at your life style. Regular sleep and dietary habbits, in most of cases do suffice. Any addictions, may be smoking, drinking, tobacco chewing etc. Also have bad effects on digestion. In addition, compulsorily mixed type of salad must be present at each time when you eat. Add fruits of season to lunch. Drink a lot of water. Extra effort for the problem may be taken in the form of use of honey in a specified manner I can tell according to age and weight is excellent remedy. A week or so, if followed, definitely will be helped. Regards.
