3 Ayurveda Tips You Must Follow To Get Healthy Skin!

Summer often brings in a host of problems, the scorching heat can sometimes burn and tan your skin. The humidity can cause you to sweat, making your skin accumulate grime, dirt and increase your chances of getting skin infections. Avoiding the sun by staying indoors or using an umbrella is a good option, but not always a practical possibility. According to Ayurveda, summer is the season when the sun is strong and increases heat in the body, which is one of the main causative factors of skin problems. So you not only need to beat the outside heat, but find a way to keep your body cool from the inside heat too. Some of the common problems in summer include sunburn, redness, irritation, rashes and acne outbreaks. Here are some ways Ayurveda can help:

Start by knowing your skin type in Ayurveda:

  1. Vata skin: This is characterized by dry, thin, delicate skin that is cool to touch and easily gets dehydrated. It can be flaky and has a tendency to age faster.
  2. Pita skin: This is characterized by skin that is fair, sensitive, soft and warm. It is prone to freckles and moles and can break into rashes, acne or sunspots when out of balance.
  3. Kapha skin: It tends to have all the qualities of water and earth - it can be oily, thick, pale, soft, cool and more tolerant of the sun. On the flip side, people with kapha skin may have dull complexion, excessive oil, pimples and suffer from water retention.
  4. Combination types: Can include Vata-Pitta (both dry and sensitive) Kapha-Pitta (oily and sensitive) and Vata-Kapha (dry with some oily zones).

Ayurveda tips you must follow

  1. Go for aloe vera sun screen: If you can't avoid the sun, then the next best thing to do is protect yourself. According to ayurveda, increased exposure to hot, sharp and penetrating rays of the sun causes Pitta Dosha and prolonged exposure also leads to increase in Vata, which causes drying of skin. To prevent this, buy a good quality aloe vera sunscreen.
  2. Try herbal tea for hydration: During summer, it goes without saying that you need to stay hydrated throughout the day with a good 8 glasses of water. But other than that, you can up your intake of warm liquids like herbal tea made of ginger and lemon which will keep you digestion healthy and skin glowing. A number of flavored herbal teas are available in the market too. From peach to hibiscus, each flavor offers a good set of benefits.
  3. Try herbal deep oil massage: Time to take your skin's hydration to the next level. An oil massage is the best remedy for dry skin. Apricot oil applied 2-3 times a week at night can make your skin smooth and supple. Turn on the "heat" by asking your partner to give you a full oil massage which can improve blood circulation, lymph drainage and your romantic life for sure.

What is PCOD?

PCOD or Polycystic Ovarian Disease is a disorder that causes innumerable hormonal disorders. It causes disruption in the normal menstrual cycle, often delaying it. Having been diagnosed with PCOD makes a woman prone to diabetes, cholesterol and cancer. A large number of cysts develop on the ovaries which enlarge when afflicted by this condition. PCOD can increase the chances of severe muscle spasms during one’s periods.

Causes Of PCOD-

  1. The cysts are mostly caused due to hormonal changes and fluctuations.

  2. It could be genetic.

  3. PCOD can also be a result of an unhealthy lifestyle that includes little rest, inadequate sleep and unwholesome diet lacking in the right nutrients.

Symptoms Of PCOD-

  1. Acne

  2. Excessive growth of facial hair

  3. Weight gain

  4. Difficulty in losing weight

  5. Excessive hair on body as well, including chest, stomach and back

  6. Irregular menstrual cycle. Women may miss their periods, or bleed more than once a month

  7. Extremely heavy bleeding

  8. Severe pain and muscular cramps during menstruation

  9. Problems getting pregnant

  10. Infertility

  11. High blood pressure

  12. High cholesterol

  13. Depression

  14. Other serious hormonal disorders

  15. It can lead to diabetes

  17. A major risk of PCOD if left untreated, is that it can lead to endometrial cancer

Diet For PCOD-

A healthy diet along with physical activities and abstinence from smoking can help to reduce the symptoms of PCOD and prevent the disease.

  1. Increase the intake of fresh, green vegetables.

  2. Cutting down on junk, fried food and most importantly, processed food.

  3. Abstaining from or greatly reducing the intake of alcohol.

  4. Including lots of fibre, roughage in the diet.

  5. Cutting down on sugary, aerated drinks.

  6. Including lean proteins in the diet.

  7. Reduce dairy products as milk may raise the levels of testosterones in the body.

  8. Reducing or eliminating consumption of caffeine may help to increase chances of a fertile reproductive system.

  9. Prevent yourself from giving in to unhealthy food cravings. Eat small healthy meals at regular intervals.

  10. Include fruits, nuts and colourful veggies in your diet.

I have fungus infection in my under thighs for month please suggest me medicine for it.
Fungal infection is quite a common infection in groins due to moist and hair. Maintain proper hygeine. Remove your pubic hair periodically. Use correct fitting under garments. Do not use inner wear in the night. Dry the skin after bath. Apply antifungal powders like candid etc after bath If not subsides consult your physician.

I recently proposed to a girl, I don't know much about her, I know only some formal details about her like name, where she is living, what job she is doing. Etc. After I proposed her she didn't say yes or no to me. But she used to tell I already have a boyfriend and she also said she have intimate relation with him, at the same time she used to move close to me, I thought she is joking and she is hiding her love to me. Days gone with chatting, phone calls, as usual when ever I get chance I used to I love her, and she used say what you know about me, I'm not a good girl the way you think. At the same time she used to speak she has like on me, but suddenly two weeks before she made a phone call to me and asked will you marry me? I'm shocked at the same time I'm excited and happy and said yes but I asked her I need some time marriage and today morning around 6 am she made a call to me and said last night I have gone out with my boyfriend just came now, if my parents questions me I will call you and tell them I have stayed last night in friends marriage, I'm confused what type of girl she is?Please tell me I am totally depressed Please help me for that.

If you are taking your life serious and have a goal in life don't involve with these type of affairs. IF YOU TAKE YOUR LIFE CASUAL CONTINUE THE RELATION WITH HER. These type of relations initially looks like enthusiastic and later they will make you zero. Be careful.

My eyes turned slight yellowish. I tested for jaundice ,it’s negative. Then what caused my eyes to turn yellow.

My eyes turned slight yellowish. I tested for jaundice ,it’s negative. Then what caused my eyes to turn yellow.
Eyes are supposed to be white. The color of eyes is an indicator of heath. Yellow eyes are common symptom of Jaundice. There are many possible causes for yellow eyes. Most are related to problems with the gallbladder, liver, or pancreas, which cause excess amounts of a substance called bilirubin to collect in the blood. Diagnosing and treating any underlying medical conditions is the first step toward getting rid of your yellow eyes. Yellow eyes aren’t normal, and you should see your doctor if you develop this or any other coloration in your eyes. Consuming 3-4 liters of water, having 6-8 hrs sound sleep, Having timely food, stress-free lifestyle, consuming fresh leafy vegetables, fruits will help to reduce the yellow eyes.
