Hi my age is 29 (men) old, height 175 cm, weight 85 kgs. I will be going to gym daily, running, cycling, workout I will do weekly 6 days. I have knee pain from many years, I went for checkup doctor after so many tests he said everything is fine you don't have strength on your knees so you are getting pain. So could you please suggest what to do for this. He said stop running on thread mill do cycling, walk daily. I will be following strict diet also daily morning oat meal, 2 eggs per day, 2 cups of green tea, milk per day. Only in the after noon I will have rice, no sweets, slight oily, daily night 1 banana, chapati with curd. Please suggest me what to do. I will get severe pain while climbing stairs.

- there could be deficiency of vit d, have to checked it yet. - avoid thoses exercises at gym which puts more stress to your knee joint. - to increase quads muscle strength you can do isometrics at home.- simply with your knee straight and back supported, place towel roll beneath your knee joint and press it till you count 30, than releive. Repeat the same for 10 times for 2- 3 times per daily .do this exercise atleast 10 days .there are more exercises which need to be done by theraband.

I am having pain in my right foot the sometimes ankle some times front side of my foot and knee also it becomes stiff I can't sit comfortable even in car while sitting I have to literally pick my leg at night also I have stiffness in knee got checked tsh, uric acid and esr and have shown to some doctor he said it is ok, if I try to do cycling or some exercises it gives more pain.

For leg pain try this. Identify the dipping portion on the back of your knee folding. Press this dip with both middle fingers and hold your knee with your thumbs for support. Please swing 20 times morning and evenings. This will relieve your problem. Identify the mid point between the ankle bone and tendons and give pressure with a blunt edge on either side of your foot for 2 minutes. Also give pressure in the web between 2nd and 3rd finger from your toe for 2 minutes. Finally give a good massage for both feet in hot water. Pl watch your wight reduction by at least 5 kgs. Consult after 5 days.

Hello lybrate-user it can be a muscular pain or spondylitis. I would advice you to get an xray done to confirm diagnosis. Til then start analgesics and calcium supplements. Take small pillow under neck up to shoulder region. Start neck exercises.

Requires detailed examination and investigation. Preliminary investigations suggested: hb, tlc, dlc, esr, blood sugar fasting & pp, uric acid vit d urine r/e x-ray of the affected part. Anyway it may be tried sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick mattress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back, knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Do not ignore it. Let it not become beginning of a bigger problem. Make sure that patient is not allergic to any of the medicines that he/she is going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, inform.

Wat are the solution of slip disk as I am suffering from slip disk always having pain and wat are the solution of pain is any pain killer is advisable?

Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Any way take ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days caldikind plus (mankind) 1 tab odx10days you will need other supportive medicines also. Take multivitamins & other antioxidants along with. Do back (spine) exercises make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take do ask for detailed treatment plan. Don? t ignore, lest it becomes starting point of a major problem.

Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. SPRING BEDS, FOLDING BEDS OR THICK MATRESS ARE HARMFUL Use no pillow under the head. DO HOT FOMANTATION. Paracetamol 250mg OD & SOS x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab OD x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again.. Do not ignore .It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Leg pain may be caused by a number of different factors, including trauma, sciatica, or arthritis (among others). Ice is useful for the control of pain. It can be applied to the affected area for 15 to 20 minutes as often as every two to four hours. Performing daily leg stretches is one activity that should be incorporated into your daily routine. Please see a Physiotherapist to know the root cause of your pain and pain management.

My legs get numbness while keeping one leg on another leg. And it is normal when keeping straight. 3 years bach I had an accident had spine injury compression of D9, D10, D11 doctors told no need of surgery dont lift weights. But I used to lift weight sometime. Is there any problem.

Do not take the advise of doctors lightly as they are very crucial. Lifting weights can cause serious cord compressions and permanant nerve damage. Kindly avoid heavy work as far as possible. Take care.

Its a part of IT Syndrome. Try to sit for the least possible time. Take frequent breaks and focus on posture and core stability exercises and ergonomics.

dear Pl let me know did you ever had any haematological or radiological investigation in matters concerns. If so please let me know feel free to discuss in detail for further line of management. pain killer given by any one is not a solution it's temporary. avoid unwanted medicine. longer way will harm your kidney liver etc

In hypothyroidism hair fall is a common occurrence. It is usually the last symptom to be corrected after hypothyroidism is fully controlled. When tsh levels are between 3 to 4 milli units, then it is considered as good control. So please check tsh levels and see that those are brought to the expected value. Gout and palpitations are unconnected to hypothyroidism.
