Hi I can understand the problem. # relax & stay positive. # take hot and cold foementation. # learn posture care exercise. # use lumber support. # take break every 20 minutes. # do strengthening exercise of back and core muscles not all back pains are same. Please do share investigation reports if you have any.

Hello lybrate-user, knee pain occur after 30-35 are due to degenerative changes in bone. It may be due to osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis. So consult a physio and learn some strengthening exercise and start doing it guided by them. From xray images and symptoms of patient we can come into conclusion either it is due to osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis. So in both the condition knee strengthening exercise plays important role. There are also ultrasound, ift, swd modality available in physio setup to get you releive from pain. So it would be better if you visit a nearby physio and start doing exercise guided by them. There isn't particular food to avoid for knee pain, but if you are overweight then you have to take care of your diet. Because as much your weight increases all weight will transfer to knee so it is better to keep maintain your weight. It is better to take calcium rich food such as milk, paneer, curd etc.

Apply pranacharya restopain oil or prasarini oil on your affected part then give hot fomentation. Take maha rasnadi kwath 2-2 tsf twice a day. And agni tundi vati and maha yograj guggul 1-1 tab twice a day. Avoid junk food. Spicy food. Fermented food. Tea. Alcohol. Avoid alcohol consumption. Do pranayama early morning.

Do din se mere dono leg pe bahut dard ho raha hai. Jiski wajah se main thik se khadi bhi nahi ho pa rahi hoon. Knee pe jyada dard hai. Kya aap mujhe iska koi ilaaz batayenge? I am 26 years old.

Apply hot fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily. Bhujang asana. Core strengthening exercises. Back stretching. Do the cat/cow stretch.

I had hip replacement surgery along with 50% femur bone. After 14 days it was dislocated. Now it is located by reduction of dislocation without surgery. I wear a knee brace also. Now what should be done? How should I walk with walker?

If there is dislocation you have to undergo correction by relocating the structure or to undergo surgery immediately.Still chances are there to dilocate again so better to use walker in furure..

In india commonly doctor's as well as patients first thinks for pain killer. But without exactly known a reason. Its sheer negligence on our part. Call any specialist who can helps her with ortho biological treatment.

Kindly show me a photograph of the affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Calf Stretches Standing calf stretch Stand away from a wall and.put your fight foot behind you and be sure your toes are facing forward. Lean forward at the ankle while bending the right knee and keeping your heel on the ground. Hold this for 30 to 60 seconds. Repeat 10 times a twice a day. Downward dog yoga stretch Get down on all fours with your hands under your shoulders on the floor. Walk your hands forward slightly on the floor. Spread your fingers apart to allow for a broad base of support. Push your hips up toward the ceiling and tighten your abdominal muscles. Keep your heels on the ground and gently try and straighten your knees. Repeat 10 times a twice a day. Wall calf stretch Stand about two feet away from a wall. Place the ball of your right foot against the wall while your heel remains on the ground. Slowly and gently lean into the wall while keeping your knee straight. Hold this for 5 seconds. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Downward dog yoga stretch Get down on all fours with your hands under your shoulders on the floor. Walk your hands forward slightly on the floor. Dear lybrate user. Start with active stretching exercises daily for 30 min to 1 hour after hot fomentation and massage. If no relief visit a pain physician nearby and get yourself diagnosed. Take care.

I have constant pain in my lower back not very severe pain but a persistent pain if I bend I find little difficulty in getting back. Can you advise what this means.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. It is common to have lower back pain at this age group, especially females, causes are many, there can be some early spine degeneration associated with weak muscles of your back and improper posture etc. If you have a localized back pain with no leg symptoms like pain, numbness, weakness, paraesthesia's etc, my advise will be initially: - to maintain proper posture while working and sleeping - if pain is more then you can take a short course of an anti-inflammatory medication which suits you - physical therapy initially under supervision of a trained physiotherapist and then to continue at home - adequate calcium & vitamin d intake if levels are low in body - ice packs can applied if your pain is acute, then hot fomentation can be done at home - analgesic spray for local application can be used and is easily available. - avoid lifting heavyweight/ acute forward bending in mornings do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance.

Hip pain in your age is not normal. Does the pain go away with pain killers? please get an xray of your hip and see an orthopedic surgeon or send me the report. An mri scan of the hip will also help to find your problem accurately. Are you taking any medicines currently?

Twice over two months I have had pain in my shoulder blade. First time it was very painful and lasted for 5 days where I could barely move my left hand whose movement brought pain (Only under left shoulder blade). Hello lybrate user, back pain that is associated with day time sedentary jobs like computer professional s are associated with paraspinal muscle spasms. The best way to tackle this sort of pain is to do well spaced stretching exercises of the back, back extension exercises, using hot water bags to provide relief and avoiding stooping posture while sitting. Posture also plays a very important part in back pain, always maintain a straight posture while sitting. While getting up from the bed try to first go on your left or right side of the body and get up side ways. Avoid cruntches or sit-ups: they may increase the pressure on your back and may predispose to slip disc. Always maintain a healthy lifestyle in terms of regular brisk walking, meditation, eating healthy. P. S: try to avoid pain killers (analgesics) as much as possible as many are associated with side effects that you may not be aware of. Stay healthy. Stay happy god bless you.

1. Take one tablet of crocin pain relief sos after food upto a maximum of 3 tablets daily 2. Apply volini gel twice daily 3. Give warm compress locally 4. Take rest if you have recurrent attack of neck pain a) take x ray/mri cervical spine to exclude spondylitis and consult orthopedic specialist b) sometimes it could be due to bad sitting posture while reading or working on computer. Adopt proper sitting posture, put neck rest, use soft pillow while sleeping c) do physio therapy and neck exercise after consulting physiotherapist.
