Hello doctors. My age is 30 unmarried men one day I met a person. Both of us travelling in same bus became frnds and exchanged phone no. S we met 2-3 times for casual talking while talking he supposed to touch here and there one day he touched my organ I thought its accidental touch but he supposed to touch regularly am also feeling good and I was also enjoying. And it turned to masturbate each other. I was shocked by seeing his penis with 7-8 inches fat healthy penis comparing with my penis it is 3-4 times huge. I was attracted and not able to forget him. But didnt have any type of sex with him only mastrubation. From last 6-7 months I realised it was wrong and am not talking with him now I changed my phone no. And aware of him. Now a days iam getting feeling to watch men's bulge is it homosex symptoms or comparing penis size am not understanding. I need counselling are treatment.

I was a patient of depression for which my phycologists prescribed me Tab Citop 20 (1 od) with Alprox .25. I have taken the drug for about four years and gradually the medicine stopped. But yet I have to take Alprox .25 to subside anxiety. I want to know up to how much time I can take Alprox. I can't stop this drug. I request you to advise.

Dear, Please understand your condition. If you need to stop the drug, you can very well stop it. But the anxiety related to the stopping of drug haunts you along with the addiction. In any case, you should learn to relax. You are 57. Just ignore that you are taking that medicine and enjoy the life. When you ignore the medicine, one day you will forget to take the medicine and you will realize how unimportant that medicine is. Take care.

Dear, it's impossible to deny the effects of anxiety on your body's gastrointestinal system. One of the most interesting aspects of diarrhea is that it can actually be a sign that you're suffering from anxiety. Anxiety is the activation of the fight or flight system when no fears are present. That stress causes a rush of adrenaline that redistributes both water and blood flow. That redistribution means that your gastrointestinal tract is not filtering water correctly, leading to poor stool health. Your body also slows the digestion of food, which contributes to diarrhea. Eating a diet that is healthier for your gastrointestinal system (good fiber, low acid content, etc.) is a good place to start your treatment. From your physical details, you look anemic and this kind of symptom can be associated with physical weakness, especially at the end of the day, please do a blood test and improve yur health with the following tips; 1) eat at least 2 to 3 big portions of fresh fruit daily BEFORE lunch and dinner. At least 30 to 50 % of our daily meals should be fresh, raw salad, grated cucumber, beet, carrots, lemon, especially pomegranate etc. This will ensure you get sufficient vitamins and fiber in your food. 2) make sure you do proper physical exercise. If nothing is possible, atleast walk briskly for 45 mins or cycle for 30 mins daily. 3) Make sure ou have a cool bath before sleeping at night. This will cool your body and deep sleep will protect your full mind- body health. 4) Drink 1 to 2 glasses of warm water 20 ins before sleeping. This will protect your circulation and heart. Ways To Treat Gender Identity Disorder!

Born as a male but feel like a female OR born as a female but feel like a male. Some persons are unable to feel comfortable in the physical gender that they are born in; their mind, brain, feeling and thoughts are all of the opposite sex. This uncomfortableness in their mind about their physical gender is termed as Gender Identity Disorder.

What's the cause?

We do not know the exact cause of this disorder, but it is hypothesized that developmental changes in the brain and the body do not sync, and the brain/mind is left with a different gender than the body. This is mostly an unidentifiable and unpredictable change.

What are the symptoms?

  1. Children might express a desire to dress up as the opposite sex.
  2. They might express replusion at one's own sex organs/genitals.
  3. As adolescence begins, they do not develop feelings of attraction towards members of the opposite sex. Some complain of revulsion about their pubertal changes.
  4. Males want to pee while sitting down, while females want to do it standing up.
  5. Their behavior is often more like that of the opposite sex, e.g. boys might display feminine gestures, while girls might indulge in risk taking and reckless behavior.
  6. As they become adult, a realisation that they are stuck in a body that they do not like causes depression and anxiety.

Diagnosis: A diagnosis of Gender Identity Disorder (GID) is made based on a detailed assessment by a Psychiatrist, who is specially trained in this assessment. WPATH standards mandate that this is an ongoing assessment, and involves facilitating the process of Hormonal Treatment and eventual Sex Reassignment Surgery. The whole process can take 2-3 years.

Treatment: For those who have severe GID, eventual sex reassignment surgery is the treatment and outcome. However, support of family, friends and a Good Psychiatrist can enable a smooth transition. Psychiatrists will often use antidepressants and anxiolytics to make it easier for the person to cope with societal and family pressures.

I want to quit smoking but I cudnt. I am so much addicted to smoking. If I cudnt smoke I feel something missing in me.

You will feel like that but it is not true that you cannot. You must try and try again and again until you succeed. You have to quit cold turkey because the body and mind will torture you endlessly while attempting a reduction in smoking. The tobacco tar in cigarette smoke lines your lung with huge patches that make that portion dysfunctional. Your oxygen carrying capacity is jeopardized, and breathing is impinged on. But don’t be discouraged because it is not too late even now to reverse all the ill-effects of smoking. I don’t know what other organs could be damaged but do go for a thorough medical check-up to assess the effects of your abuse. Regarding improving your lungs, do a lot of aerobic exercise breathing through your nostrils only. Then there are a lot of deep breathing exercises in Yoga which you can learn too. Deep breathing cleanses your system and lungs and restores it to good health. Deep breathing uses the 80% of the lungs which are not normally used in normal breathing and even when exerting yourself. The greatest effect is in the lungs because this substance is processed through the respiratory system directly through the lung surface. When quitting, you must take one day at a time; though you must give up all smoking at once, and promptly. If you look too far ahead you will get discouraged and will give up. If you sit and count the number of days you have given up, that will also focus too much on achievement. You must focus on the here and now, on that day to be precise. After all quitting is not that easy due to many factors. So even if you fail one day, you must try and try again. Very few people succeed in their first attempt. Your persistence will eventually pay off. The urge to discontinue is hampered by many factors but the worst of them is the conditioning. In fact, these conditions can exist all through the day, unlike other addictions. But your desire to want to stop is the most important factor. It is important to find out about the ill-effects of smoking to have a reason that alarms you about continuing the habit. The information is really scary but true and you must remind yourself about this every day. The nicotine in tobacco smoke stimulates the heartbeat to raise the blood pressure in no time at all. So you must avoid it like the plague: it is just very bad medicine for you. In fact, it is highly toxic too. You will need to stop smoking or consuming any tobacco related items with immediate effect. You should start vigorous exercises, gradually increasing it over a period of time. Do deep breathing exercises every time you feel like smoking (try Yoga), and replace the oral urge with some healthy food substitute to satiate the need. You may also take hard candy or chew gum. If the urge is too strong, then use nicotine gums and nicotine patches, for a little while until the smoking drive reduces, substantially. You may also join Smokers Anonymous in your city where the support is really extraordinary for like-minded people who are also in the same situation. Keep yourself occupied or engaged with interesting activities during the times when it is most tempting. Keep the company of non-smokers for some time i. E. At least for the first 21 days. Above all announce it to everyone that you have quit smoking. Here’s a piece of very good advice: even if you accidentally/willfully take a cigarette, it is not the end of the world – you can start the cessation all over again. You must persevere with the best support until you defeat this addiction. Counseling is very useful in the initial stages and when temptations are at their highest. You could also join twitter2quit program and enjoy its success to give up smoking.

Sir, main apni studies par concentrate nahi kar paa raha hu. Padhai karne baitha hu toh mann hi. Nahi lagta sirf 10-15 main apni book bandh kar deta hu. Mann toh bahut karta hai padhna ka lekin.please help
