Depression is a mental state which is not easily identified in its early stages; it is evident only when the symptoms become obvious. You may overlook it as a passing phase, and assume it to be normal. The people around you may also get used to the symptoms and accommodate accordingly. This can make the identification of depression even more complicated. Homeopathic treatments are entirely natural and do not carry any side effects. They are holistic treatments that get rid of the cause instead of just treating the symptoms of depression. The various homeopathic remedies for depression are:

  1. For anxiety related depression: Aconite is a homeopathic remedy that is used in the treatment of anxiety. The symptoms that it is used to treat are the ones, which occur suddenly and make you extremely pessimistic. For acute panic attacks, this medicine is very effective. Some other medicines that are also used to treat anxiety are Argentum Nitricum and Arsenic album.
  2. For depression in teenagers: Kali phos is a very effective homeopathic remedy for treating depression in teenagers, the causes of which are usually hormonal changes and high levels of stress. In some cases, depression may also be triggered by genetic factors. Ignatia is also used to treat depression in teenagers.
  3. Stress related depression: Kali phos is used to treat stress-related depression. It also helps in treating fatigue with homeopathy.
  4. Insomnia that results from depression: To remedy insomnia resulting from depression, you can opt for Kali Phos and Coffea Cruda.
  5. Severe depression: If the symptoms of depression are very severe and include suicidal tendencies, Aurum Metallicum may be recommended.
  6. Depression resulting from menopause: It is common for a woman to undergo a phase(s) of depression during menopause. The homeopathic remedies that are used in the treatment of this condition are Lachesis and sepia.
  7. Seasonal affective disorder: This type of disorder usually occurs during the winter season. The treatment for this disorder is prescribed after a proper diagnosis of the symptoms. Ignatia is a remedy that is usually recommended.

Continue thyroxine. Let her practice yogic therapy and relaxation. Avoid controlling her. Ignore, but respect her. She will recover if she concentrates well in her recovery. You join her practice a relaxed lifestyle than tense life.

There is no harm in masturabation and is a good sex drive release. You can restart if you feel as stopping this normal diversion of mind could make depression.

If you haven't had a professional diagnosis yet then please don't say that you have depression because the thought sits in the mind and takes deep roots and even if you didn't have depression you will start showing symptoms of it gradually. Please get a proper diagnosis from a psychiatrist and also see a counsellor for cbt therapy meant for reducing the rumination and irrational and unhealthy thoughts and beliefs about self others and various situations. Eating a healthy and we'll balanced diet is an important recovery tool from depression as the brain and mind both function well if it received enough lean proteins, vitamins, minerals and omega 3 fatty acids. Adequate amount of exercise release natural anti depressants like serotonin, tryptophan and norepinephrin in the brain to maintain mental and emotional equilibrium. Sleeping regularly for 7-8hours is a must for the body and mind to recover from daily stress. Learning how to deal and cope with tough life situations is very important so that you feel confident of living the life of your choice. Having a healthy social circle and a satisfying hobby is important for feelings of accomplishment and acceptance in the society.

Beer has alcohol content. Comparing with hard drinks like whiskey or brandy. One regular beer or half a strong beer is equal to 30 ml (one small drink) of whiskey or brandy. So consuming beer will cause same damage as consuming other alcoholic drinks. Some common harmful effects of consuming beer are liver problem, stomach ulcer, pancreatitis, gallstones and nerve problem.

Hi, what type of anxiety you have. Is it generalised or specific to something. Thought stopping techniques really works for that. Deep breathing also works. Check in which place the anxiety comes, be in that situation for more repeated time. The anxiety reduces. Regards

Engage yourself fully in studies, hobbies, social work, creative activities and games to have a balanced life. You have to restore the mental balance, get rid of the stress and produce some endorphins by vigorous physical exercise like jogging and gym. How to improve our memory power. Does there is some techniques available? Or any diet to follow. Can you please suggest?

There is no ready made technique to improve memory. Memory is basically sustained concentration which requires sustained attention. To get sustained attention you need to get rid of unnecessary thoughts that come and clutter our brain. Diet has no specific role though some studies suggest omega 3 fatty acid rich diet like sea fish, walnuts etc. But to have a healthy memory you need to be physically ok for which you need a balanced diet. In specific cases you can get benefit by attending memory clinics under neurons psychiatrist.

I am preparing for bank po exam from last 2 years. I had prepared very well. I was good in all subjects yet I cannot convert this things into good score and did not get job .The reason is too much anxiety during exam. I cannot control my mind even during exam. I missed crucial time due to this and mind get more diverted. Due to anxiety I smoke 2 3 cigarettes before exam but I am not sure this affect my performance or not. Due to tension masturbation becomes compulsion during preparation and these thoughts constantly distracting me during exam hours. I cannot able to implement the question during exam which I had rigorously practiced during preparation yet I am able to solve it at home in same time. Due to continuous failure my confidence becomes nil.

Dear friend you know it all, can you have courage to face any result, good or bad? it is the fear of negative and obsession of positive which is causing so much unrest. For just one time, do as I suggest. Give the exams casually not keen on passing them. And you will pass! remember cigarettes have proven to increase anxiety and there is a false feeling that it relieves it. The nicotine craving builds up anxiety which one feels is relieved by smoking. Lastly even if you masturbate do not torture and start another conflict by feeling guilty. Chill.
